Thanks for all the reviews. I have read so many YGOHP crossovers, and they all have Yugi not liking Snape, so I decided to go the other way.

All the staff greeted their new colleagues warmly, getting over their previous shock well. Soon they started asking questions, curious to know how they know Severus from.
"We met him in Japan when he visited to collect some rather rare potion ingredients."
What Yami failed to mention was that he went to collect basilisk venom from Yugi, as being a parselmouth has some benefits, especially when money is needed to fund a special expedition to retreive a dagger, Slytherins ceremonial dagger to be procise.
Salazar Slytherin was actually a follower of the Ancient Eygyptian culture, and became the last High Priest except for Seto, but that doesn't count, him being a reincarnation and all).
His fellow founders did not understand this magic, so branded it dark, and eventually killed him. Luckily the dagger had a mind of its own, spelled itself to be untouchable to anyone but relations of Slytherin (his wife and children went into hiding) and hid itself deep below the banks of the Nile
Yugi continued "We got to know him after he realised he couldn't scare us" he recieved a glare for this which he ignored " and eventually we convinced him to teach us some magic, because for some reason we never got a letter from a magic school" This was partly true, however they had decided not to mention they had been taught them the dark arts, as they were already masters of the 'light' ones. Yami and Yugi understood that dark does not mean evil (all the yami's are a good indication of this). The staff seemed content with this, and continued with their questioning until the last question came up from Professor McGonagal.
"I'm assuming you know about the Hogwarts houses" when she received nods she continued "What house do you think you would be in?"
Yugi decided to answer that " I would be in Hufflepuff and I think Yami would belong in Slytherin." The teachers silently agreed that this looked about right, as Yugi seemed to glow with kindness and innocence while Yami seemed quite dark. The professors were startled however when Severus scoffed.
"Whats wrong Sevvy?"
"Like that would happen. Yami is a Gryffindor for sure, while you, my dear Yugi, are definitely even more slytherin than I am"
Yami and Yugi mentally agreed with this, but Yugi decided to have some fun.
"How could you say that Sevvy!" He brought out his chibi eyes, tears forming at the corners.
Everyone felt sorry for Yugi, and when Professor Sinistra gave Yugi a hug he finally let the act drop, giving a smirk over her shoulder which left no doubt in anyones mind what house he belonged in. Someone else decided to comment on what he wanted to all evening.
" You know, for a someone so young -how old are you 15?16? Anyway, you must be very clever to be a teacher"
Yugi pulled out of the embrace, giving the young professor one last smile. Everyone else agreed with this except Sev and Yami who seemed to cower.
Yugi then rounded on Professor Lupin, the one who made that comment. Yugi then started to shout-
"Fifteen...FIFTEEN! I AM 24 FOR GODS SAKE! DO YOU THINK ITS EASY TO LOOK THIS YOUNG! EVERYWHERE I WENT FOR A JOB THEY KEPT ASKING TO TALK TO MY PARENTS!
MY MOTHER IS IN CHINA WITH MY GRANDFATHER AND THE LESS SAID ABOUT THE REST OF MY FAMILY THE BETTER! "
Yami definately agreed with that and waited patiently while he carried on. Yugi ranted on for another five minutes until he seemed to have finished.
"Well" Yami said before someone else started Yugi off again " we had better be going, need a good nights sleep for tomorrow. Bye everyone."
He dragged Yugi away to their rooms near the enterance hall.
The headmaster was very amused at the look on everyone faces, and as they all went to bed for the night. His last thought before departing his office was that this would be a very interesting year.
