Emergency
Chapter Three- Emergency
Kagome shook as she looked down at her friend. He looked so lifeless, laying there, so dead-looking. Tears came to her eyes. She shook her head. ‘Gotta help.’ She thought. Quickly she checked for a pulse. It was there, but faint. She pulled out her cell phone and flipped it open, hands still shaking. Faster than she would’ve thought possible, she dialed 911.
“Hello?” asked a voice on the other end. “What can I help you with?”
“I-it’s an emergency.” Kagome murmured. “He’s knocked out, and his pulse is really faint.”
“May I get your name?”
“Kagome Higurashi.
“And where are you Ms. Higurashi?”
“I’m on the corner of Ashi Rd. and Mika St.”
“Okay, what is wrong with your friend?”
Kagome sighed. ‘Come on, I can’t deal with these question anymore.’ “H-he’s bleeding really bad.”
“From where?”
Kagome searched for a wound uncertainly. “Uh, his chest, and legs look really bad, all smashed.”
“Okay, I’ll send an ambulance right away.”
Kagome sighed, dialing Ryou’s number.
He answered on the fifth ring. “Hello?”
“R-Ryou.”
“Kagome?”
“Yeah.”
“What’s wrong?”
“It’s Y-Yami, he’s hurt, really bad. P-please come. I’m on Ashi and Mika.”
“Okay, I’ll be there in a minute with Marik.”
When the arrived she smiled. Ryou walked over and placed his arms around her comfortingly. “It looks really bad.” Said Marik quietly.
Ten minutes after they arrived the ambulance got there. “We need one person to come with him.”
“I’ll go.” Kagome volunteered quickly, climbing in.
