It has been a week since the digimon entered their third stage. While Yami and Renamon worked out at the gym,

Yuugi and Patamon stayed home and did chores when they weren't going to the park. Of Course they never went

anywhere with out Yami.

"Where done early today huh Patamon." Yuugi pet his jelly-bean shaped friend who had a dust rag in his mouth.

"Let's go to the gym and meet up with Yami and Renamon, I'm sure they will be happy to see us." Yuugi picked

up Patamon and headed out the door. On the way he noticed traffic was a little heavy. "Maybe it's not a good Idea

to go out right now. Yuugi watched the cars speed by. Patamon jumped up from Yuugi's arms and nested in his hair.

"I guess you still want to go." Yuugi walked along the side walk as far as he could get to the gym. Yuugi saw Mai

again. She was taunting some kid while her Byomon vicously attacked sluggish tad-pole like digimon.

"That's enough!" The Kid pleaded. "I take it back girls aren't weak!" The kid scooped up his digimon and ran away.

"What ruffled her feathers?" Yuugi asked. Patamon jumped down from Yuugi's head and ran over like a piglet to greet

Byomon. He just wanted a nuzzle but Byomon squawked at him making the beanie digimon retreat back to his spikey haired

tammer.

"Oh hi, Yuugi, Can't talk now, I'm busy." She walked away.

"I didn't want to talk to her anyway." Yuugi knelt for Patamon to jump back into his hair. He continued his pursuit to the

gym. Once their he looked around for Yami. "He wasn't hard to find he was the only guy in the gym who wasn't grossly

bulked like a mountain. He found Yami and Renamon sparing. "Who's training who?"Yuugi laughed.

"Maybe it would be a could Idea for you tow marshmellows to get into shape?" Yami dogded a hookshot delivered by his

Renamon.

"I don't want to put stress on him, he's like me." Yuugi said.

"You'de rather sit and watch rather than get involved with a fight." Yami tried to hookshot Renamon but she dodged it.

"I wouldn't even want to watch a fight, I've learned from duelmonsters how bad fighting can be."

"Don't remind of that fiasco on the blimp, it was a nightmare and a half."

"Ready to go, Patamon and I wanta see a movie."

"Wich one?"

"The sixth sense."

"No, Jichan said no horror films, you wet your bed after you saw the 'Frighters'."

"Don't bring that up in public!" Yuugi blushed.

"'Shark Tale' is playing how about that?" Yami asked while he and Renamon exchanged bows ending their training.

"That's a kid movie." Yuugi complained.

"Your thinking of 'Finding Nemo'." Yami passed Renamon a water bottle.

"Ok." Yuugi said. They left as soon as Renamon downed the water. On the way they passed by Kaiba Corp. Yami Stopped

to look at the building. Renamon too stopped and looked at it. Her fur stood on end.

"You remember don't you girl?" Yami asked his growling digimon. Yuugi was a bit ahead but stopped when he noticed Yami

wasn't by his side.

"Yami are you coming?" Yuugi walked back.

"I'm sorry but I have to see someone real quick, this shouldn't take long." Yami looked at Renamon before he and she walked

inside the Kaiba corp building. Yuugi followed them in.

"Wait for me." Yuugi ran with Patamon still nesting in his hair.

Yami walked passed the front desk ignoring the receptionsist who desperatly tried to get his attention.

"Sir you can't go in there with out an opontment, sir, sir!" He walked passed her with Yuugi trailing behind.

Yami stopped near a room where loud vicous growls came from. Yami swung the doors open and found Seto starring into

a dark corner of a large room.

"What do you want?" Seto snickered.

"I would like that match now, you want a challenge, well here she is!" Yami said as Renamon apeared by his side.

"Don't make me laugh she doesn't stand a chance against my beast!" The lights illuminated the room revealing a huge

blue and white dragon with large white wings, and a metalic horn coming out his nose and long horns coming out the back

of his head.

"He's a huge, what is he?" Yuugi's jaw dropped.

"Meet my partner, Veedramon!" Seto bragged. Yami noticed the monsters ankles wrists and neck bound in chains.

"Why would you do that to your friend?"

"Don't start with that friend shit again, these things are just animals for cock fights." Seto said.

"I'll be on my way then." Yami and Renamon turned toward the door.

"Wait, I thought you wanted to fight!"

"I'm not battling my creature while it's opponent cannot move." Yami looked back at Seto. "Why don't you take off his chains,

then I'll reconsider."

"UGh, NO, THOSE CHAINS ARE THEIR SO HE WON'T GO SO HARD YOUR BITCH!" Seto was hidding something.

"I'm leaving now, but I will be back."

"NO WAY STAY AND FIGHT YOU COWARD!" Seto tried egging him on to fight.

"I see what's going on here." Yami said.

"What are you talking about!?"

"You can't control him can you?" Yami looked back at Veedramon. "That's why he's chained up, isn't it?" Yami asked. Seto

was silent. Yami figured out exactly what was going on. "Let's go Yuugi." Yami left with the others. Seto looked back at

Veedramon.

"You will obey me Veedramon, make no mistake about that, we'll defeat that fake together!"
