PLAY BALL!
Yuugi came home that afternoon crying. He ran to his soul room and flopped on a beanbag chair in the middle of the room.
"What's wrong?" The spirit walked into his room concerned about the sobbing Hikari.
"SOME KIDS ASKED ME IF I WANTED TO PLAY KICKBALL, I THOUGHT THEY WANTED TO PLAY WITH ME BUT THEY USED ME AS THE BALL!" He wrapped around Yami. Yami's eyes filled with anger.
"So, are they kids who go to your school?"
"IT WAS DURING GYM CLASS!" He cried loudly.
"It's ok Aibou don't worry about it." He rubbed his back, showing false maternal instints
(I say false because Yami can't have true maternal instincts beause he's not a mom...
he can be as cuddely to his hearts content but still it would be false...he's a man....sorry).
That night when Yuugi was watching the news, he heard about alot of teen-agers are missing.
Pictures appeared on the tv screen. The reporter Talking: "If you see any of these missing people please contact the police..."
Yugi starred in shock.*Gasp* "I was playing kick ball with them yesterday!"
Later that night Yugi was playing in his soul room, Yami walked into the room with a strange sparkling ball.
"Hi Yami." Yugi smiled as Yami passed it to him. "A ball?"
"I wanted to give you a new toy to play with."
"Do you want to play catch with me?" He smiled holding the ball to his chest.
"It's a kick ball, kick it around." Yami said.
"Ok....Kick ball?...Did you hear about the news report on TV?"
"Uh....NO...." He looked nervous.
"Forget it, let's play." Yuugi stood up and kicked the ball to Yami. They kicked that ball around all over the soul room all day and night. It was fun just to spend quality time together for a change.

Gee.....isn't it a little too obvious already.....but solving a mystery is not the point of this fic....the point is......oh who am I kidding....
