I Apologize
Welcome to the 3rd chapter of this fic. I would like to thank you all for reading and reviewing
the 2nd chapter. In this chapter, Yugi gives his response. Tanoshimu!(Enjoy)
Chapter San
Yami laid on his bed, exhausted from the unpacking he'd just completed.
"I wonder has Aibou got my letter yet."
He looked at his watch.
"10:01...I'm sure he's gotten it by now."
Yami turned on his tv and looked at the replay of the Battle City Finals. His cell phone rings.
'Who is this?' he thinks to himself as he reaches on the night stand and looks at the caller ID.
'Kaiba...'
"Moshi moshi" answers Yami hesitantly.
"Hello Yami. I haven't seen you in a while, do you still work here?" asks Kaiba.
"Yes. I still work at Kaiba Corporation."
"No...do you still work here?"
'Guess that's my cue to go to work right now.'
"Yes, Kaiba-san. I can come in right now."
"Good. Have you moved yet?"
"This morning. I just finished unpacking."
"How is Yugi taking it?"
"I...don't know...I haven't heard from him and we're not exactly on good terms. What about you
and Jounouchi-kun?" Yami says getting up and finding something to wear.
"The same."
"Your relationship is the same?! Even after he found out?!"
"None of your business Yami. Now I'll see you in 10."
"Ok..."
"Ja ne."
Yami threw his phone across the bedroom and put his suit on. As he was about to open the door to
leave, he noticed a piece of paper under the door.
'Huh? What's this?'
He picks the paper up, and his eye catches his watch.
"Damn, can't read this now, I gotta go." he says grabbing his keys and running to his car. He zips to
Kaiba Corp. and up to his office, 2903. When he opens the door, his chair is faced towards the window, and rocking back and forth.
"Umm...may I help you?" Yami says as he walks towards the desk.
The chair spins around, revealing a naked Kaiba.
"Yes, you may help me with this..." Kaiba says as he strokes himself.
Yami walks around and kisses him fiercely.
(About an hour or so later...)
Kaiba has left Yami's office and has gone back to his own. Meanwhile, Yami sits with his face buried
in his hands, feeling even more disgusted for what he has just done.
'Naze...Here I am trying to get back with Yugi and this is what I do...what I continue to do...I don't
deserve Yugi anymore...I don't deserve his kindness...his smile...his love...or his heart.'
"Kuso!" yells Yami as he opens a drawer and takes out his GBA SP. He puts 'Reshelf of Destruction' in and starts playing.
After a while of playing, he opens his briefcase and takes out his reveiw sheets. Something drops from the pad on the floor. He looks under his desk and sees the folded paper.
"I forgot about this." he says picking up the paper and unfolding it.
A surprised look covers his features as he sees who the letter is from... "Aibou!"

Atem,
I know that you're thinking that I'm supposed to just apologize and take you back
as soon as you come begging. Sorry to disappoint you. I can't. My heart is eternally
broken for what you did. Words can't begin to express how much I hurt because of that.
You have been hiding many secrets from me. I didn't know that you had that apartment. We
could have went there sometime and had fun...when we were dating. I guess Kaiba-kun was
your first priority in sharing something special with someone. Yami, did you think that just
because you fooled around with Kaiba to get a better job position is reason enough for me
to not break up with you?! You must literally be out of your mind. Gomen ne, Yami...but
you could have at least told me that you were moving out. I woke up this morning and saw
that I was alone. Okaa-san told me everything. When I got the letter, and saw that you
wrote it, I almost took it straight to that shredder. But, I decided to read it, to see what
pathetic excuse you could come up with...what type of confessions of love you could muster
up to try to win my heart back. They were...how shall I say this...heta.(2) Ha! Ha! Ha! I
have to commend you for your efforts, as fruitless as they were. I enjoyed it. Well
anyways, I have to end this. I have to go and open the shop.

"So I guess this means we're not friends either..."
