do you go left or Right

AN- thanks to the people who reviewed like always this is based of the Japanese version I hate –hate- HATE the English version. They flat out murdered it. Cold heartless murder. I just watched the Ep were Yugi Dies, “they only need one of us” BAHHHHHHHHH asswholes, its “I believe in you, mou hitori no boku.” then fade away and watch Yami loose it.

One more thing, My Yugi? now I am not a big fan of Rebecca and Yugi but...its DARLING DALRINNNNNNNNNG!

I hate Funamation.

Anyways Chars are based off the Japanese version because I found the English version murders them, and those who were lost in the war of censoring... Anzu, Honda, Yugi, Yami, we pray for you. sighs softly

I do not own either of the two major things in this fic.

happy?

Chapters Three

Do you go Left or Right

Seto growled uneasily at the girl before him, as he picked up his can of anti-fairy spray he stated something coldly, “As I thought another fool hearty idiot,”

Anzu glared at him then smirked softly as a thought ran through her head. She placed her small hands into the back pockets of her jeans; she thought plainly- do I go left or right.....-

She nearly jumped ten feet high as she left the tall elf’s breath on her neck, with a growl she turned to him.

With a cold face he stared down at her then at the maze, “So will you go left or right?” He asked as if he cared, HA!

Slowly loosing some of her bitterness towards the tall elf, she replied, “I don’t know...they both look the same...” with a gentle sigh she glazed up at the elf.

“Shows what you know woman. You won’t get very far.” He smirked, “Most likely give up an hour in.” His tone was sharp and cold.

Anzu clenched her fists and narrowed her eyes at him, “Well which way would YOU go.”

A light chuckled escaped his lips, “I wouldn’t go either way. It would be suicide.”

Low as low as a snarl could get it was achieved by the chocolate hair girl, she had it and so she snapped. Her brother was stolen by a mad man albino, she is stuck solving a labyrinth that is mostly rigged to make her loose, and to top it off there is a six foot elf taunting her! “Well you know what! I am going to beat this labyrinth the goblin king and make it all look like a piece of cake! Just you wait! Then I will shove that up your ass along with that six feet tall pole already there!” Her breath was heavy with aggravation and stormed down the passage way. “GUH!”

Anzu stormed down the dirty grungy and disgusting pathway she had chosen.

The girl snaked her arms around herself, Anzu muttered how idiotic it was to come here without a jacket. After walking for about 20 minutes she sighed and looked around, “Its all the same...there are no turns or anything...” she sighed softly then remembered something.

You take to many things for granted.

“Maybe...Maybe he was right I do take to many things for granted....Mokuba...I am so sorry...” She sighed softly, damn that king! He is a thief! Nothing more, more then the king of Goblins...who were stolen....he is a King of Thieves.

-

As King of Goblins you have a lot of times on your hands, or one may think. Locks of wild white hair rested on the shoulder of its king, heartless chocolate eyes scanned the room; Goblins sang dance for the upcoming victory, the smell of ale and beer was heavy in the room, and a small black hair boy sat in the middle with frightened eyes.

Mokuba clung to a small blanket his kidnapper brought him back with, tears forming at the young two year olds eyes.

Bakura scoffed at the boy, and growled at the Goblins from under his breath. Flipping out one of his cards, he glazed into the image before him.

There she was, Anzu was ran down the long endless pathway that outlined his whole puzzle. Yes he knew she had ran into one of his worker bees, it was kind of ironic if you think about it.

Pale lips shifted into an evil grin, oh yes he did remember about the six foot elf. It was oh how long was it now, his mind mused with the memory of old. OH yes it was 200 years ago in Mortal years, Bakura almost chuckled out of evil delight.

Kaiba foolishly wished away his younger brother, and like sweet young Anzu wished to save him. Yes he wasn’t born of the fey world, like Anzu he was full of determination, and like Anzu he failed. However, he displayed wit, charm, and cunning something Bakura felt lack of surround by mindless slaves that cowered at his very aura.

As to let some intelligence grace the underground, he let the boy stay in place of his younger brother. Bakura respected Kaiba to a point; he would invite the young elf to dinners, and an unfair game or two.

So let it be, Bakura had someone to talk to other then the idiots who are in his thrown room now. The king let out an angry kick that sent one of the less lucky goblins out the window. “ENOUGH!” Fanged teeth barked harshly, the room became quiet expect the echoing of the order. Leathered toed boots clunked against the cool dirty floor. The white hair figured walked towards the boy, kneeling he came to the child’s level.

A pale hand shot out and grabbed the boys chin, lips snarled into a smirk soft words that sent slivers down all the occupants in the room, “Your sister will loose my game, and you will be mine.” He shifted the child’s head left to right, “Yes you will make a fine addition. however”, he said coolly, as if he knew the child understood. “Your sister shall be the true jewel in the ruff.”

--

Anzu panted softly, she could feel that over and hour past. The girl leaned her back onto the cold slimly stone behind her. “Damnit!” she whimpered softly, with clenched fist she pounded onto the wall. “Its all the same! ALL OF IT! No turns no doors nothing!” For the past 45 minutes Anzu had ran hard and fast through this long pathway.

The day had gone from bad to worse, she was rash, and impulsive as her father told her many times. She brushed him off many times, but at this moment she wanted him here to tell her she could do it, that there was still hope.

Hope? Yes hope, Anzu was the most talented dancer at her school however she was the biggest outcast. It happens when you go to small schools; she was smart but not too smart. However, when it came to dancing... she blew them all out of the water. Maybe just for that reason they treated her like the plague.

She sighed softly already she missed her childhood friend, Yugi. When they were seven he moved to the larger city with his mother and grandfather. Anzu felt herself finger a small heart shape keychain on her belt loop. He always believed in her dreams, and she his dreams.

Anzu closed her eyes and smiled softly at the remembrance of her best and only friend.

You can do it Anzu,

You can win,

Just believe in yourself.

There before like a dream, Yugi stood cheering her on with all his might. He was older now but still looked the same. His gentle smile, and soft clear eyes that glimmered with hope and will power. He held out his hand to her,

Get up Anzu,

You still have plenty of time.

Take my hand and save your brother.

Anzu stared up at the boy and nodded to herself. With steady hands she grasped onto the one before her.

With renewed vigor and power she stood, this game was far from over. “Alright Anzu girl, think what would you do if you wanted someone to loose.” she sighed and closed her eyes, “If I were a psychopath that kidnapped children, and allowed someone to win them back....I would want them to....loose hope. To think it was impossible.” She opened her eyes and looked around. “There has to be a hidden door, or something like that...”

Anzu froze when a laugh echoed from above. Chocolate hair shifted upwards towards the sound, and there sat a beautiful blonde woman. Unlike the elf before she held a magical aura around her, strong, powerful, enchanting, the mortal stood in awe of the woman.

“Bingo Hun.” Blonde hair bounced slightly as the woman jumped down from the top of the wall. “This Labyrinth is full of secret passages and openings that are blind to a mortal’s eye.”

‘And your not...mortal?” Anzu mentally kicked herself for that one, Idiot! Why would something this beautiful be mortal!....great now I sound like a lesbo...GUH! At this point in time, Anzu just wanted to bang her head against the wall.

The woman smiled at Anzu softly, “No I am not a mortal Hun. But you seem to be in a little jam. Unlike everyone here I am not under.. what do you say...Bakura control.”

“The Goblin king’s?”

“Yes him of course, then again...that wouldn’t stop him from....” She shivered at the thought of the horrible deed.

“From?” Anzu urged on gently, curiosity got the better of her.

“Best left unsaid Hun. My name is Mai.”

“Anzu...” She trailed off gently.

Mai smiled at the girl with motherly intent, and placed a hand on the girl’s shoulders. “I know. Come on time is ticking away hun.”

AN- Kaiba failed yes our great Seto Kaiba was outsmarted by Bakura, however instead of having another baby Goblin he wanted Kaiba because well come-on idiots all around the poor man for centuries.

and if you have any ideas who should do Ludo please tell me I am at a lost for him.

Yugi is in the real world.

and that’s about it.

RR please.
