Yugi sat up in bed, stretching. He was glad to see his friends were waiting for him. But… what was it his grandfather had said about owing the museum? Shaking his head slowly, he waited for the doctor to come.

Yami. Are you better?

Yes, Aibou. I'm feeling much better. How are you?

I'm fine. I got out of bed earlier. There was a ring in my pocket. Where did it come from?

It was in the case you knocked over, Yami replied.

Then it's the museum's. I'll give it to Grandfather. Yugi laid back in bed, wondering when the doctor would come.

Do you think your Grandfather would know what it is? I didn't get a good look at it, but something inside tol to to grab it.

Then I guess you don't want to return it to the museum. Perhaps, there is a bit of writing on it. Yugi reached under his pillow and pulled out the heavy ring. Here. Can you read that?

It means Dark.

So you really are Yami. Good, Boku no Yami. You promised.

Yes, Yugi, I'm you're Yami, forever.

Forever doesn't exist. Are you strong enough?

As if in answer the spirit appeared beside Yugi, pulling the boy into a gentle embrace. "You're a part of my soul, Aibou. Nothing can sete ute us. Not time, not death, nothing. We will be together forever."

Yugi relaxed into his arms, and for a second he wanted to just stay there forever, where he was warm. safe, and protected by his Nushi. Biting his lip, he realized that no one could compete with a ghost, but if Yami was becoming more real then one day he wouldn't have to worry. As long as no one as wonderful as her showed up.

Yami reached up and ran his finger across Yugi's lower lip. "Don't bite that, Aibou. You'll hurt yourself."

Yugi's eyes flared and he wrapped one hand around Yami's neck and pulled him down. Licking Yami's lip, he whispered softly, "Ai shiteru?"

Yami kissed the teen gently, running his tongue over the bite. "Ai shiteru, zutto."

Yugi slumped against the pillows as a sharp pain shot through his side. It had been building for a while but now...

Yami stroked the boy's cheek. "What's wrong, Hikari?"

Yugi hissed and squeezed his eyes shut. "I don't know. Read the papers at the end of bed."

The Pharaoh got up and picked up the papers. "You broke your arm, and your ribs."

Yugi whimpered. "Ow...."

Yami went over to Yugi's uninjured side and sat down, pulling him close, careful of his injury. "Shhh, Aibou."

"Hurts."

The spirit cradled the boy in his arms. "I know it hurts."

Yugi tried to rest but those ribs felt like they were digging into him.

Yami laid Yugi back on the bed, then opened his shirt.

Yugi watched silently

"I'm going to look at your ribs, Aibou. If it hurts, tell me."

Yugi eyes widened. "You're a doctor, too?

"I don't think so, but I do know a few things about medicine."

"Anou... if you wish." Yugi tried to take a deep breath but those knives were slicing him inside.

"Don't breathe deeply." He gently ran his hand along Yugi's ribs, trying to feel if they were set. If they were they pain wouldn't be too bad, but if they weren't it'd be agony.

Maybe I just shouldn't breathe.

You can't not breathe, Aibou. You're mortal. Yami gently ran his fingers over the break, feeling if the bones were even or not.

Hai, mortal. Yugi flinched at Yami's touch.

Yes, mortal. Why did you run?

I... I didn't mean to get hit. I just couldn't stand that word. If I never hear it again, I'll be joyous. The doctor will come soon. Sit and tell me... what else do you remember about y... your family. Yami sat down next to him and pulled him close. "What do you want to hear?"

Your brother. The one you were so angry at ... who was he?

He was my youngest full brother.

But what about him?

His name was Shebi-ib. He was almost three years younger than me. When we were little we got along for the most part. I only had my brothers and sisters to place with, sometimes the children of other nobles. They weren't that entertaining though. He was the one that gave me that ring.

"He loved you." Yugi whispered softly.

"He was my brother, Yugi. He was an adventurous child. Always poking his nose into things he wasn't allowed, always in trouble. Not even the palace walls could keep him in."

Sounds a lot like Joey. Yugi's eyes twinkled as he thought of Joey in ancient Egyptian dress.

Yami gently tapped the boy on the nose. Get that look off your face, Aibou, he said sternly.

Yugi raised his eyebrows and looked innocent. Nani? No more?

Yami sighed. I don't remember much else before we started playing the Games.

Ah. Sorry. Well...

Well what, Aibou?

How did you start to play the games? Yugi used his hands to push himself up, wincing.

Yami pushed him back. "Lay down, Aibou, and I'll tell you." Yugi raised his hand to scratch at his P. J. top. Slowly, to keep his ribs from hurting more, he tried to take it off. Seeing Yami's look, he cast his eyes down, It's annoying me.

Yami unbuttoned the starred flannel top and pulled his right arm from the sleeve. Then he lifted the teen gently and pulled it from his other arm. "There, is that better?" He laid him down again.

Hai, now at least I can feel you.

Yami settled next to the teen, pulling him close again. One arm wrapped around his shoulders, so Yugi was resting in the crook of his arm. "Happy now, Aibou?"

Yugi settled in and lowered his eyes. He felt so tired doing so little. Hai, Kihou

Yami lifted Yugi's chin so he was looking at spirit in his eyes. Aibou, is everything all right? You're not yourself.

Yugi cut his eyes away from Yami and stayed silent.

"Aibou, Yugi. Talk to me. This isn't like you. What's the matter? Tell me."

Yugi pulled his face from Yami's hand and tucked his head under Yami's chin. "Douttekotohanai."

Yami rubbed Yugi's uninjured arm. "Yes, Yugi, it does matter. YOU matter. What is upsetting you?"

Yugi teared up and bit his lip. You couldn't find me. You couldn't help me, Yami. Nushi, since you have come, my life has been wondrous. Before it was empty, dull, worthless. Every victory we achieve brings us one step closer to sealing away the shadow realm. And when we do ... you'll leave and so will everything wonderful in my life.

Perhaps when we succeed you will find the other half of your soul without defiling a thing… she'll be reborn. Soon, one way or another I will lose you and I don't want to win anymore if it means losing you. Let the world end as long as I'm with you. I... I'll do anything I can right now, anything. Just ... stay.

Yugi closed his eyes and let tears slip out silently.

Yami rubbed his back, shifting him more on one side. "Yugi, you have nothing to worry about. I've already found the other half of my soul and nothing can separate us. We'll be together now until the end of time. I'm not going anywhere. I'm here now, and that in itself means we were meant to be."

How do you know this? What if Teá had solved it? Would you be hers?&nbs
Yami just smiled understandingly and put a finger to Yugi's lips to silence him. "No, Yugi. Had Téa solved the puzzle, she'd be dead."

Nani?

"Only the person that is the other half of my soul can complete the puzzle Yugi. Others have tried, all were killed. Only you survived when my soul fused with yours. I'm yours and yours alone."

Yugi tilted his head back to stare into those loving crimson eyes. You mean you belong to me. You're mine. You are mine and I'll never let you go.

Yes, Aibou, I'm yours and you're mine. We're one. I will be with you foreve.r He took the boy's hand and put it on his chest. "Do you feel that, Yugi?"

Hai.

It's beating because of you. I can hold you in my arms because of what I've done with you. I owe you everything, and I'll never let go of you.

Ai shiteru, I know of no better way to say it but ai shiteru, Yami... Kokoronokinsen no boku.

* * *

Dr. Ashitaka walked down the hall. It was time to check on young Yugi Muto. Surprisingly, for being hit by an imported American motorcycle, he escaped remarkably unscathed. Three broken ribs and the radius in his left arm broken. Stopping at the nurses station, he picked up the file. A notation on it made him stop. It was permission for someone named Yami Muto to check his younger brother out when Yugi was ready. Apparently the grandfather had to take care of the family business. Nodding, he continued down, reading the file. Knocking on the door, he stepped in.

The young man in bed with his patient must be the brother. Noticing the sleeping young man, he stepped over to the bed. "I am Dr. Ashitaka. You must be Yami Muto. Your little brother will be fine. The ribs appear to be healing quite fast. The arm... the larger bone, the ulna was broken, but it was a clean break so it won't be that difficult. When he wakes up, you can check him out. Young boys his age often heal fast, but once he hits about 15 or 16, we can expect it to slow down."

Yami blinked. "Sir, my brother is 16."

"Ah? Hmmm then perhaps I can suggest an endocrinologist for him. It is not that usual for young men of his age to be so small. Without giving offense, how tall were your parents and grandparents?"

Yami thought for a moment, then held his hand up at about Yugi's height.

"I see... hmm I guess you're just a sport. Still I'll give the referral ... just to get him checked out."

Yami gave the doctor a confused look. "A sport?"

"Yes," Dr. Ashitaka cleared his throat. "For example most people of Asian descent are approximately 5" 6' and under. Not all but a majority. What if your parents and their parent and their parents were all 5" 4' and under but your mother's great grandfather was 6" tall. His children did not inherit his height since being shorter is dominant. Their children did not inherit his height either. Next generation, no one is taller than 5" 6' by this time, and few remember the 6" foot tall man. Then comes you and your brother.

"You each had 1 chance in 256 of inheriting the gene for being tall. It's not dominant. Since you have 255 chances to be short, most would assume you would be, but that one chance surprisingly shows up ... in you.

"That's called a biological sport. That gene took that sporting chance. Now any of your children will have a 1 in 2 chance of being tall."

Yami nodded, understanding. "How soon can I take my brother home?"

"Now if you want, I thought you might want to let him finish sleeping."

"I can carry him and let him sleep." Yami stated.

"Perhaps you should call a taxi, it will be easier on his ribs."

"I will." Yami replied, remembering that Yugi had money in his wallet.

"Well," Dr. Ashitaka said at the look on Yami's face. "I could arrange transport home for you if you wish."

Yami thought for a second. "Yes, please. That will be helpful."

"Ok," The doctor turned to leave, "by the way. Take good care of him."

Yami nodded, hugging Yugi slightly. "Umm, Doctor. Do you have a blanket I can wrap him in? It might wake him if I put his shirt back on."

Dr. Ashitaka sucked his lip in and tried not to laugh, but he couldn't help thinking he was exactly like that around his sister. Going to a closet, he pulled out a soft blanket and handed it to Yami. "I understand. A nurse will be with you soon."

Yami nodded, wrapping Yugi carefully in the blanket. He shifted the boy's legs into his lap and put one arm under them, standing.

A nurse walked in with a wheelchair and some papers. "Hi! Hospital rules say he has to ride out. And I need you to sign these papers."

"He's sleeping. I'll carry him." Yami stated, shifting Yugi so he could sign the papers.

"Sorry hospital rules." The nurse waggled the chair and looked over the papers. "The bus is waiting downstairs and you just set him in there, it won't even wake him."

The nurse stared at him with her professional smile fixed on her face.

Yami gave her a warning glare. "I will carry him."

"Well sweetie, you can just shut off that glare. If I have to wake up this gorgeous ten-year-old child and sit him in this chair, I'll be maximum pissed. Now why don't you listen to me and we won't have to fight. Because I hate say, but I'd win." The nurses voice flattened at the end.

"He is not ten and I am not putting him down."

"Very well," she leaned over and pinched Yugi's cheek. "Honey wake up, your brother is being a bully."

Yami stepped back and turned, not allowing her to touch the sleepinen. en. He glared hard at her, giving her a look that would melt paint off a wall. "Don't touch him."

Laughing, the nurse turned and locked the door. Stepping closer, she used her weight to turn the boy, "Want to bet?" she asked Yami. She then let out a piercing yelp in Yugi's ear.

Yugi's eyes flew open.

"Sweetie, I need you to get in here for me." She patted the wheelchair.

Had Yami not had his arms full, the nurse would've been slapped. As it was when he stepped away from her the Sennen Eye was flaring in anger.

"Nice tattoo but enough, set him down and let's go! Your ride is waiting." The nurse smiled sweetly.

Yami gritted his teeth, making note to send this woman on a nice vacation to the Shadow Realm. "I am not putting him down."

"I see... well the rules clearly state, he must be in the wheelchair. I guess you just don't believe in rules, do you? Very well." She kneeled down behind the wheelchair and fiddled with some clanking metal. "The doc warned me about you."

Grabbing Yami by his collar, she dragged him into the wheelchair and buckled a four point restraint around the two of them. "There! He's in the chair."

Whistling, the nurse unlocked and opened the door. Happily she lead them to the elevators. The elevator slowly sank and she pushed them to the curb where the medical transport waited. "Bye now, take good care of him. Don't want him here as a patient. He is a sweet 12 year old. Bye Y" Sh" She waved.

Yami tried to fight, but was careful not to hurt Yugi. Oh, when the Pharaoh told Ji-chan of this, the lawsuit that hospital would be facing. Had Yami known, he might've been smirking, but now he was glaring daggers.

The nurse unbuckled them and pointed to the open van door. "Have a nice ride home."

Yami only glared at her, muttering under his breath in Ancient Egyptian.

The nurse sighed. "What if someone came rushing out and you dropped him? In the chair, he won't fall. Now go home."

"I wouldn't drop him."

"You've been here for two days straight. Did you want to take the chance?"

Yami only glared, muttering about stupid mortals, then got on the bus before he hurt the nurse, or worse.

Yugi turned his head, mouthing, "Two days?"

Yami nodded, sitting down in an empty seat.

Yugi whispered. "Two days... but the exhibit leaves in three... no, tomorrow."

Yami nodded again. "Yes, Aibou."

Yugi bit his bottom lip, "But you didn't see everything you needed to."

"I'll see it another time, Yugi. You're more important than that exhibit."

"But your past... maybe I can giv... no, I promised I wouldn't do that..."

"Maybe you could what, Aibou?"

"Nothing. And stop glaring, the nurse is gone." Yugi smiled and snuggled in with Yami. //I'll keep him for as long as I'm allowed.

"I'm not glaring."

"Yes you are, Nushi."

Yami sighed, nuzzling him. "When we get home, you need to rest."

"We need to figure a way to have Ji-chan let us go see the exhibit."

"Yugi, you're injured. I won't risk you hurting yelf elf again."

"Doesn't matter. We need to know..."

"We can learn later."

"From where?!"

"Shhh, Aibou. We will find someplace."

Yugi wiggled in his blue cotton cocoon. "Hai, Nushi, as you say."

Yami sighed deeply. "You're injured. You can't go traipsing around with broken ribs."

"Yes, Nushi."

Yugi whipped his head around... "You're a magician, right Nushi?"

"I wouldn't call myself a magician, but I can use minor magicks, yes."

"Oh... is one of those minor magics, healing?"

"I don't know. But I can try when we get home."

"Ok. And you had to know major magics... you sealed away the games." Yugi smiled and drifted off.

"I had all seven items when I did that. Which what we have now, I can't do anything nearly as impressive."

Yugi just breathed deeply. A natural sleep at last.

Yami shook his head, the reached up and stroked Yugi's cheek. The Pharaoh looked absently out the window, waiting for the bus to get to the Game Shop.

A lone figure stood in the darkened Domino Museum, looking at the Egyptian exhibit. Eyes darkened as they read the words on one of the worn sheets of papyrus. The translation went unnoticed as the figure read the neat hieroglyphics. "Anubis, make ready, because tonight I am sending my brother to you." The figure blinked as long forgotten memories assaulted his mind.

* * *

Sana walked down the hall grumbling. After all he was six and the Heir, why wouldn't his Tef let him go. He even beat Tef! Angry, he didn't notice when he ran into someone.

A rich voice laughed and caught him under the arms. "Well Sanahkt. What's the look for?"

"Uncle! Tef won't let me go to the Games!"

"Oh, why won't he do that?" The wheels inside his head were starting to turn.

"He said I'm too young. But I beat him. I did. I beat him!"

"Well, I was just on my way there, Would you like to come with me?" A warm smile lit up his face, hiding a sinister gleam in his eye.

"Please!!!" Sana hugged his uncle tightly. "Let me get my deck." Sana jumped down and was back a few minutes later with his deck. A smile wase one on his face.

Uncle scooped the boy up to his shoulders and took him to the Shadow Realm. This was perfect, he could get to the Pharaoh through the boy.

Sana kicked his feet against his Uncle's chest, bouncing, as he spun around. Everything was shades of purple and black and swirly. It was a bit dizzying. Sana shook his head and turned towards the game field.

Uncle put him down and took his hand. He walked him over to the field, knowing it wouldn't be long before the Shadow Realm had it's way with him.

Sana closed his eyes, the swirling was making him sleepy. He could feel his Uncle's hands on his back. He felt so... dizzy.

"Open you're eyes, Sana. You can't play with them closed." Shebi-ib smiled down at the boy, hiding a smirk at seeing him wobble on his feet already.

Sana felt so... sick. Slumping, he was glad Uncle Shebi-ib was there for him.

Shebi-ib knelt next to the boy, keeping him on his feet and taking his cards from him. "We don't use these h"
"

"Bu... ut Un...cl... le..." Sana passed out.

Shebi-ib smirked as the boy went limp in his arms, but it faded quickly as a loud shout announced his plans had come crashing down. "Sanakht!" The pharaoh shouted, running over to the boy and pulling him from his brother. "Shebi-ib! What were you thinking?! He's a child!" The Pharaoh glared at his brother as he casted a small barrier around the boy before the Shadow Realm killed him.

Sana stirred, the heavy blanket that was crushing him seemed to be lifting. Trying to move his arms he felt they were dead, They wouldn't move. The noise hurt his ears.

"He asked me to bring him, YOU were too busy to spend time with him," Shebi-ib answered, smoothly.

"You almost killed him," Yami hissed, bristling at the dig.

"How was I supposed to know he couldn't handle it? His father's the best player there is." Shebi-ib's voice was laced with a fake innocence.

Sana struggled to move. He mouthed, "Tef. Tef."

Yami looked down at his son, making a shooshing motion then turned to his brother.

"Do not cross me, Shebi-ib."

"Is that a threat, oh wise Pharaoh?"

Yami glared daggers. "No, dear brother, it's a promise. If anything happens to Sanakht, you'll share his fate."

* * *

The figure sneered at the page, pushing the display over. "No, brother, it is I that will be sending someone to Anubis. Very soon, he'll be meeting your precious little Yugi."

//||\

Yugi opened his eyes. Seeing a light dusting of hair, he blew across it. It was his Yami. Yugi pressed his ear closer to listen to the heartbeat.

Yami smiled, looking down at the boy. "Are you ready for me to try and heal you?"

"Nani? I thought you said you wouldn't be strong enough?"

"I'm not strong enough to seal off the Shadow Realm without all seven items, but I think I can heal you. At least your ribs."

"Thank you." Yugi lowered his eyes.

Yami lifted Yugi's chin, making the teen look at him. "Besides, would you really mind me sleeping next to you for a few hours?"

Yugi eyes widened and he kissed Yami, hesitantly. "I love wyou you want to sleep with me."

Yami kissem onm on the nose. "Then what's the matter?"

"Nothing, Nushi. Will it hurt you?"

"No, just make me a little tired if anything."

"Ok then." Yugi nuzzled Yami's chest.

Yami laid Yugi gently on the bed and put one hand lightly over his ribs, his other on the Sennen Puzzle. He shut his eyes, chanting softly in Egyptian as the Sennen eye on his forehead started to glow.

Beautiful.

Yami smiled softly as his hand started to faintly glow. A strange warmth spread from Yami's hand along Yugi's side, chasing the pain away.

Warmth spread through him. Sighing, he arched his back, breathing deep for the first time all day. "Nushi."

Yami opened his eyes, the third eye fading. His breathing was slightly quicker than normal. "Yes, Aibou?"

Yugi picked up Yami's hand and kissed it. "When you finish ... can I have something to eat?"

"I'm finished, Aibou. And yes, you can have something to eat."

Yugi sat up and stretched. "Hai come on!" Yugi grabbed Yami's hand and ran out of the room.

Yami followed, shaking his head.

Yugi entered the kitchen and started to make himself a sandwich. Laying out 4 slices of bread, he hunted in the refrigerator. Straightening up, he walked back over to the counter and put away two of the four slices away. "I forgot, you don't need to eat."

"Touché, my little light."

Yugi turned and widened his eyes. "Nani?"

Yami shook his head. "Nevermind, Aibou."

"Are you sure?" Yugi smiled sweetly and stroked Yami's arm.

Yami hugged the boy and kissed his nose. "Yes, I'm sure."

Yugi shook his head and finished making his sandwich. Munching, he went sat on the couch. "Since I'm better, can we go to museum?"

Yami sat down next to Yugi, letting his head read against his smaller half. "In a few minutes."

Yugi popped the last bit of sandwich in his mouth and leaned against Yami's chest. Yawning, he said, "OK. In a few."

Yami smiled, his eyes closing.

Yugi heard Yami's breathing slow and grow deeper. He's asleep. And he says he's not becoming human. Yugi moved back slowly, bring Yami down with him. Lying against the arm rest, he settled Yami's head against his chest, and petted Yami's hair. So soft.

Yami sighed, turning his head into Yugi's hand.

I love you, Nushi, sleep well. Yugi closed his eyes, happy.

Yami intended to do just that, unconsciously wrapping his arms around Yugi.

* * *

Yugi swatted at the fly buzzing around his face. Squinting his eyes against the light, he looked down at his Nushi, turning his head slightly he could see the clock. The museum closed in an hour and a half. //Oh well.//

Yami yawned, turning on his side and nuzzling Yugi's hair.

"Good sleep, Nushi?" Yugi stoked Yami's hair from his head.

"Yes, I feel better now."

"Good. The museum closes soon, if you want to go, we need to leave now ... or we could ... stay in." Yugi ran one finger over Yami's lips.

Yami smiled, kissing Yugi's finger. "Whichever you want, Aibou."

"Hmmm... the exhibit leaves today… but you will be here forever." Yugi's expression made it more a question than a statement.

Yami smirked, standing with Yugi in his arms. "We'll go now, and continue this when we get back."

"Promise?"

"I promise." Yami carried Yugi outside and started to take him to the train station.

Yugi pushed against Yami's chest until Yami stopped. "Yami, did you forget one ... maybe two very important things. One, I can walk, my legs were not damaged. And two, I sorta went on a rampage last time I was there. They aren't going to let me in. Perhaps you can go in by yourself?"

Yami set Yugi down. "They'll let you in, Aibou. If they give you any trouble we can go into an alley, then I can go into the puzzle and switch with you, like we did during duels."

Yugi laughed and shook his head. "You were there too and remember they are missing a ring. //Your// ring."

"We'll cross that bridge when we come to it."

"Well, can you magick us, make us look different or did the healing drain you?"

"I think I can change us for a short time, if you stay close to me."

Yugi smiled and checked his pockets for his wallet. He found it and there was enough money for tickets and admission. Stay close? As long as you want me to.

Then I can change us if need be.

Hai koi. Yugi wrapped his arm around Yami's waist and headed for the train station.

Yami put his arm around Yugi, walking beside him.

* * *

Yugi stared at the domino museum. The blue suited security guard was looking at him strangely. Squeezing Yami's hand, Yugi flicked his eyes up and down himself. "Illusion?"

Not with him watching, Aibou.

You are making my life hard.

It'd be harder if we suddenly changed appearance with someone watching

Yugi tugged Yami past the museum and into the nearest alley. This is way too important. We need to get in there, before they close. I won't lose this chance to help you!

All right, Aibou. Stand close to me.

Yugi took Yami's hand and stood next to him. Thank you, for this, Nushi.

Yami placed the hand Yugi held and placed it on the Puzzle. His eyes closed as he placed his other hand on Yugi's head and started to whisper in Egyptian.

Yugi felt his eye itching, in the center of his head. But I don't have one of those. Yami is really powerful.

The Sennen Eye flared for a second, bathing them both in a soft light. When it faded, Yami dropped his hands from the Puzzle and Yugi.

Yugi headed for the museum. Aritgatou, Nushi no boku.

Yami turned, walking next to Yugi. Stay close so I can keep the illusion going, Hikari.

Yes, Nushi. Yugi stopped and waited... lowering his eyes.

Yami walked up to Yugi, patting him on the shoulder. I made us look like twins

Yugi chuckled. Oh?

Yami nodded. It was the easiest thing to do. Look at me and you'll see what we look like.

Yugi looked at Yami and his jaw dropped. Sighing, he took Yami's hand and headed towards the museum. I knew I shouldn't have let you read those books. I knew it.

What's wrong, Aibou?

Red hair, tall, millions of freckles, twins... You've been reading the Harry Potter books. Oh well.

Actually, I haven't

Yugi looked up at him. Nani?

In Egypt, red-headed twins were powerful magick users

Ah. We still look like Fred and George Yugi nodded to the guard and paid for their tickets. They strode towards the exhibit... Once we are out of his sight, you can let it drop. I don't want to strain your poor spirit.

Yami no, wa, walking into the museum with Yugi.

Yugi pulled Yami into a recess and kissed him softly. Ai shiteru. Backing up idn'idn't notice the woman behind him.

"Yugi Muto you may tell Yami that he can drop the illusion. I am Isis and I am the holder of the millennium tauk. I wish you to see this exhibit and for you to keep your brother's ring. It is important, for if you do not listen to me, who was once your sister, the world will be destroyed."

Yameyeseyes widened, the illusion falling away. "You know about me?"

"Yes, my once brother. Do you remember who you sealed away in the shadow realm?"

"Vaguely."

Isis smiled. "You sealed away yourself and all your brothers and sisters. Some of the had become so corrupted by the Shadow Games that they were consumed by a desire to dominate the world. Your bloodline held seven ... trophies ... symbols ... that denoted the seven most powerful duelists. You used those items to hold the magic of the seal of the shadow realm.

"Now for the first time ... all seven half souls have been reincarnated at once. The final duel begins again. And you, Keke, must defeat our once-brother, the one who gave you that ring... He almost killed your son and heir. The games have corrupted him. Come, I have much to tell you, once-brother."

"How will I know who he is? He could look like anyone." Yami questioned, following the woman with one arm over Yugi's shoulders.

"Oh you shall recognize him, sweet Keke. A body may go through many change but not the soul... Besides you've already met him... I know you don't like him and you don't know why you hate him." Isis strode into the exhibit room. "Look round here, anything you wish, I shall give to you."

Yami looked around the room, eyes stopping on the shattered display and torn page. "What happened?"

Yugi frowned and backed up a step. "If you know all this ... why did you wait 'til now?"

"Because he needed to remember who he was before, if he's to save the world again."

"Last time he did, he was trapped there ... alone."

Yami's grip tightened a little on Yugi. "That's not something I need to be reminded of."

Yugi bit his lip, hard and backed up another step. " I'm sorry Nushi, I just meant, couldn't they get someone else this time. Maybe her!"

Yami shook his head, patting Yugi's shoulder comfortingly. "No, Aibou, only I can do it. I am the only one who knows how."

"True, however after 5,000 long years, have you no new thoughts? I foresee one future out of many. In some you win, in some you lose. Of those you win, I see two, only two, futures in which he seals the shadow realm and is allowed to stay with you. One you both remain in the shadow realm and because his whole soul is there, no one will ever solve the millennium puzzle again, so without that very essential piece the games can't ever being again. The other has him and you in this world but this also means you can be reborn and solve the puzzle, leading to yet another battle, unless ... you manage to sacrifice one of your siblings' souls. Shatter it or seal it all in the shadow realm. That is the only a maybe, a possibility."

Yami sighed, sadly. "I either have to return myself to the Puzzle, or destroy one of my siblings to save the world."

Yugi wrapped his arms around Yami's waist. "I'd rather go to the shadow realm with you than ever let you make that decision. Perhaps we can find another way."

"We'll see."

"Come, look around and we'll discuss them." Isis walked into the room. The boys followed closely.

The door to the exhibit room slowly opened with a slight creak. Soft footsteps echoed through the room, then stopped. "Hello, Keke."

Yami turned toward the sound, eyes widening. "Nefert."
