Chapter 3: Discovery Of His Love

"Daddy?"

"I got dinner at home, honey," Kaiba said. "Maybe next time." He started the engine and drove off. Liz dozed off again and we arrived at the mansion. I unbuckled her and lifted her in my arms. "I dink someone wants a nap more dan dinner," I chuckled. She opened her eyes and shook her head. "I'm hungry," she whined. "All right," I sighed. "No need to pitch a fit 'bout it." I put her down and sighed as she ran in the house.

After dinner, Kaiba and I walked on the balcony to talk. We let the kids hang out in the living room to watch TV and the night air felt rather good. I stuffed my hands in my pockets and looked at him. "So...what's up?" I asked. He shrugged. It was then I met a pair of sapphire blue eyes up close as our glance met and he walked closer to me. Mokuba felt obligated to follow and he looked at Seto and me. "Guys, we have something to tell you," Seto said. "Joey and I are dating now. We're a couple." Liz raised an eyebrow at this one and Mokuba grinned. "I knew you guys could do it!" he shouted happily. "What does dating mean?" Liz asked and I laughed. "It means Daddy's in love with Uncle Seto," I explained. "I'll still love ya just de same, but it's a different love I feel for him." She took a moment to figure that one out and she grinned then. "Cool!" she shouted and I smiled kissing her forehead.

The excitement was soon to really begin.
