Well here is chapter three of the sequel to The Pharaohs
Gift…Memories flashbacks will defiantly happen in the next chapter for Bakura
and for Ryou…maybe Yami but anyway on with the story!!

Memories-Chapter 3

“Yugi...” Yami said a bit uneasy.

“Are you all right Yami?” Yugi asked noticing his
uneasiness.

Yami just shook his head and went back up stairs.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> Bakura shook his head he thought sometimes
that his Hikari had more guts that
Yami as he followed him upstairs.

“Call me crazy but
weren’t you supposed to tell him something?” Bakura said smugly.

“Go away.” Yami
said

“I know a little
more about Ryou than you think.” Bakura said

“On how to cause
him pain? Thanks but no thanks.” Yami said angrily.

“On how pissed he’s
going to be when he finds out you didn’t tell Yugi! You want him to mention it
to the unaware Yugi? That would certainly be fun to watch, but then you’ll have
both Ryou and Yugi angry at you.” Bakura explained

“Why the hell do
you care?” Yami asked

Bakura shrugged “I
guess I’m turning over a new leaf, I care about how Ryou feels regardless of
what you think, and I don’t want to see him get his heart broken.” Bakura left
the room quietly leaving Yami speechless. Finally Yami called Yugi up.

“What is it Yami?”
Yugi asked brightly

“I have something
to tell you Yugi…” Yami began

“You don’t have to
Bakura told me about you and Ryou already when I was down stairs after he left
your room.” Yugi smiled slightly.

“That bastard!”
Yami said. “I would have told you Yugi! I was just waiting for the right time
and…” Yami began.

“You don’t have to
explain Yami, your love life is really none of my business anyway. But I do
think you made a great choice, Ryou is really cute isn’t he?” Yugi smiled as he
left the room.

Yami stood there
silent for a moment.

“Yeah he is really
cute.” Yami said to himself as he walked downstairs.

One Month Later…

Yami and Ryou
hadn’t been happier they could express their feelings freely in front of
everyone because it was just a matter of time before Bakura and Yugi spread it
through their entire circle of friends anyway and they all know now.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> Yami kissed Ryou’s cheek gently as he was
cooking.

“No you don’t Yami!
Last time I burned the entire meal when you started messing with me.” Ryou said
moving away from him.

“Oh, you act like I
did that on purpose.” Yami whined a bit wrapping his arms around Ryou and
pulling him close.

“Please Yami…I
can’t do this now I need to finish dinner. I promise I’ll set some time aside
for you tonight.” Ryou smiled as Yami let him go.

“I may be home kind
of late though, Kiba challenged me to a duel today and I accepted.” Yami said a
bit disappointed now that he knew Ryou would wait for him.

“If I fall asleep
waiting for you just wake me up I wont mind.” Ryou said brightly

“But you look like
an angel when you sleep love, I may not want to.” Yami said.

“What do you want
me to do?” Ryou asked not knowing what to say.

Yami merely
shrugged as he pulled Ryou to him again kissing him passionately nearly making
him completely forget about dinner.

style="mso-spacerun: yes"> “Seriously Yami! You’re going to make him
burn dinner…again.” Bakura said

Ryou blushed even
deeper and pulled away from Yami quickly. Yami gave Bakura death glares, he
nearly had Ryou forget about dinner but shrugged it off as he walked into the
living room.

“Some cook you have
turned out to be these past few weeks.” Bakura said

“Sorry, I don’t
mean to lose concentration.” Ryou said

“I know, its Yami’s
fault, usually it is.” Bakura said

“What do you mean?”
Ryou asked trying to understand his Yami’s tone.

“You need to tell
him to lay off a bit Ryou, your grades are dropping, you don’t concentrate on
anything you do around here, you don’t respond to any of your dads letters or
phone calls…you are ignoring everything around you.” Bakura said

“I know Bakura but
he just has a way of putting things, I don’t know what to do or say and I…”
Ryou said

“Not even no?”
Bakura asked

“That doesn’t
work…he eventually gets me to the point where I don’t want him to stop you see
and…” Bakura cut him off.

“You’re letting him
control you Hikari.” Bakura said

“Its not like that
Bakura really, I love him and I’m happy.” Ryou said

“All right, just
promise me one thing?” Bakura asked

“What?” Ryou asked

“If he ever hurts
you, in any way physically, mentally, I don’t care, you’ll tell me.” Bakura
said

“Yes.” Ryou said

“You swear? You
wont cover it up or hide it from me?” Bakura askedan>

“I swear Bakura
I’ll tell you, but I don’t think you need to worry about that I don’t think
Yami would ever hurt me.” Ryou gave Bakura a reassuring smile as he left.

After dinner Ryou
went up to his room to finish some homework and Yami had left for his duel with
Kiba. Bakura merely glared at him as he left.

style="mso-spacerun: yes"> “What’s wrong?” Yugi asked noticing Bakura’s
exsionsion.

“I don’t
know…something just keeps telling me to keep Ryou away from him.” Bakura said

“Something?” Yugi
asked curiously

“Something from the
past in Egypt but I don’t know what or why its telling me this, I keep having
these strange dreams but I don’t know what they mean.” Bakura explained.

“Maybe there just
dreams.” Yugi said

“No…they are much
to accurate to be just dreams I think they are trying to tell me something, but
I’m missing so many of my memories I cant seem to connect the dots yet…I just
hope I don’t figure it out to late.” Bakura said.

“To late?” Yugi
asked /p>

“I think Yami’s
going to hurt Ryou and what’s worse I don’t think Ryou will tell me.”

Well how was that
for a third chapter? You like? I hope so! If you haven’t read the Pharaohs Gift
you wont understand the full magnitude of why Yami hurting Ryou is such a big
deal so you can either read The Pharaohs Gift or keep on with this one but it
would be good to at least skim the Pharaohs gift. Please review! :P
