Past Self, Future Me
Hey all, hope you're enjoying it so far!
Chapter 3: Crossing Boundaries
Over the past few weeks I've been going to Preakness and been having the
time of my life. Mokie was right. I needed to go out more.
"Jou, don't even think about doing that!" I hear Honda yell.
"You just watch and see. I'll show that lame brain who's boss!" Jou yells
back.
I turn around to see an angry Katsuya Jounouchi staring at me.
"Lose something inu?"
"Not yet, unless you cound my foot that's about to be stuck up your ass!"
I laugh at his pathetic attempts to defeat me. He knows he can't win.
"Whatever. When I want a pet, then I'll know where to come." I say
getting up and walking outside.
Once again I hear him growling and trying to get at me, but the others hold
him back. Why does he continously try to get me? I just don't understand.
As I walk back in after a much needed breather, the bell rings and school
is finally over for the week. Preakness, here I come! I walk to my locker
to change shoes and get my keys.
"So, what have you been up to Kaiba?" I hear Yugi ask.
"Is it your business?" I say looking down at him.
"No, it isn't , but I was just wandering because I saw your car last Friday
night parked at Preakness.."
Eh...how the hell did that runt know about my Accord? No one bust the people
in Kaiba Manor should know about that car.
"It wasn't me." I say as straight-faced as I could.
"Oh...ok. Sorry for bothering you." Yugi saying with a smile, then runs off.
(PHEW) Thought I was caught there for a minute.

"Are you going to Preakness tonight onii-sama?"
"Yea."
"Why are you sounding so bland about it? Not happy about going there?"
"That's not it."
"Well then, what happened? You've been acting unusual since you got here."

"What about Yugi? Did you lose to him in another duel?"

"Gomen. I was just thinking about what he askend me earlier. He said that he
had been seeing my car at Preakness."
"Did you tell him it was yours?"
"No. If i did, then it would be all over the school that I go to the most elite
club in Domino. People get there hours early just to get in by 10."
"Well then, what are you going to do if he actually syou you there."
"Nothing. I mean, what else can I do? Besides, Yugi's only 15, but he looks
no older than 10. Now tell me, how in the world could he actually get into
Preakness?"
"Good point."

"You know where to go Mr. Kaiba." the bouncer says to me.
I nod my head and go upstairs to my VIP room. I open the door slowly,
expecting a surprise, but no one's in. I sit by the window and scope out the
crowd until I see a very familiar tri-colored...headed...male?!
"Yugi?!" I yell wiping my eyes and blinking a couple times to make sure my
vision is straight.
I look again, but I didn't see him anywhere. Maybe I was just seeing things. Yea.
I'm just thinking about what he said earlier is all.
(SIGH) I hope that Cuntastrophe and Tata Boom come in tonight. We really
had a very fun week together.
As I continue looking out the window, the shade comes down over it. About
damn time.
I turn towards the door to see who was coming in, but the door didn't open. The
lights we out, once again, but this time, but this time, there was no light coming
in. I really hope this isn't someone's idea of a joke.
The door opens, but closes quickly.
"Who's there?" I ask wandering who or what came in the room.
As I sit on the bed-floor, the person comes in and kisses me.
"Who are you?" I ask.
Still, I get no reply.
The perople gently grabs my hand and guides it over its body.

"Tell me..." I say trying to catch my breath. "What's your name?"
He still doesn't say anything. I can hear paper being fumbled with and something

I him him get up and leave, but still, I can't see who he is. Soon after, the lights
come back on, but the shade is still down. I pick up the card and look at it.
