The Scars of Love Part II

Inside the Village of Ashta....

Akeyana and company stopped in Ashta so that Akeyana can retrieve her things and drop Teania off. What they were most surprised to see is all the workers that came to help rebuild Ashta. "Do my eyes deceive me?" Queen Teania said as she gently rubbed her eyes in bewilderment of all the help. "Oh my this has been a blessed week. First we get tons of workers to help us and now you all have found Akeyana. My heart has never been so up beat in a while. Welcome back Akeyana and I'm glad to see your doing fine."

"Thank you Teania and its good to see you all again as well." Rishad spotted Akeyana and came rushing over to her. "Well what do you know. Hey Akeyana we missed you, glad to see you have come back safely.ishaishad picked her up hugging her and squeezing her. "We're glad your back Akeyana. We were worried sick about you. We looked high and low and there was no trace of you but I'm glad the Pharaoh helped us out." Marlene said as she gave Akeyana a hug and then everybody else that knew Akeyana came over to welcome her back. "I appreciate all the lover and I'm sorry I had you all worried. I also brought you all back something that you wanted, especially you Teania." Akeyana reached in the bag and pulled out Prince Darien's head and raised it up high in the air shouting: "Victory is ours!!!" Evedy tdy threw there hands up in the air and started clapping and cheering excessively as Akeyana put the head back in the bag and handed it to Queen Teania's servant.

"This is amazing Akeyana just truly amazing. You not only defeated him but you brought back his head. Thank you so much and I will hang his head up on a steak in front of the town and put the name of the warrior girl who got this for me. Thanks Akeyana."

"No problem, I know you didn't want anyone to rferrfere with your battle but I couldn't stand their and just watch my friend get killed."

"I want to give you something in honor of me and my people. They will be so pleased to hear this, I can't wait to see their faces and I'll say: "Yeah that was Akeyana the Warrior Princess of Ashta who got this for me in honor of our people."

"You've done enough for me Teania. I should be giving you something. Hell I should be giving all of you something for you have all played a big part in my life.

"Akeyana you've done a plenty for my people and I appreciate your hard work and dedication. I can handle it from here don't worry. I've got your friends, my priestesses, and many workers. I'll be alright. You and Natasha should head back to the Palace and take care of the Pharaoh."

"Yeah, Akeyana I'll be sure to take real good care of the Queen. I'll return back to the Pharaoh's city as soon as I get finished. I need to get back to work Akeyana and I hope you guys have a safe trip back. Love ya, buh bye." Marlene walked back over to her working spot and Rishad and his men waved to Akeyana and she waved back. "Well I guess this is it. Thank you Teania. I'll be sure to come and visit you as soon as I can and hopefully by then your city will be finished."

"You guys have a nice trip I h I hope to see you soon as well. I love you guys and you are the coolest friends that a girl could ever have. Thank you."

"I love you too Teania and all of you guys. I appreciate everything you've done for me. See ya later Teania."

"Hey wait Akeyana!!! I know you didn't forget about us." Aeris, Yochiko, Timaeus, Helmos, Aria and her children entered the village with a few more workers. "Its good to see you again Akeyana." Aria said. "We missed you so much, its been such a long time." Yochiko said. "Yay, Akeyana's back." Adriana shouted. "Our Warrior Princess has finally returned." Aeris said. "I'm glad to hear your okay. We were all terribly worried about you especially me." Timaeus said. "I was searching as much as I could to find you and you have finally returned this has been a good week for me so far." said Helmos. "Where have you been Akeyana?" Yochiko and the others started asking. "Akeyana I know you have to head back but how baout we all go back inside the Temple and you can tell us all that happened with you and Christ. said Queen Teania. "Sounds good to me." Akeyana said.

Inside the Temple....

In the Conference room...

They all sat in Queen Teania's conference room as Akeyana told them all that happened with her and Christ. When they asked her about the black orb she told them a lie. It seemed too heartbreaking for her to tell them the actual truth and she figured they wouldn't believe her anyway. "Well it was no big deal beating the man. He was hidden in an Underground Passage under the bar in the Shepherd village and sitting in front of him was an even bigger black orb and when me and Christ defeated him, I destroyed the bigger black orb and all the little black orbs seemed to disappear." Everybody was amazed at her incredible strength and bravery but Queen Teania didn't seem to be buying that story. She sat quietly and pretended like she did but something inside of her made her think it was a lie.

"Your so brave Akeyana. When I grow up I want to be as brave and beautiful as you are." Adriana said. "But you already are. Everyone is if they believe in themselves. I've always enjoyed helping or saving people like my mother once did so just think of it as a lucky trait passed down to me."

"Akeyana also brought back Prince Darien's head. Its hanging up on a steak near the entrance of our city so that everyone can see and make fun of that stupid bastard who tried to challenge me and my people. On the bottom is a plaque that says: Akeyana, Warrior Princess of Ashta. I was so proud to put that up but at the same time I let my people down. I thought I could've defeated him on my own to prove to you all and my people that I am strong but of course I needed help and luckily Akeyana came and saved me in time."

"Its okay Teania. You are a strong woman and a perfect leader for these people. I'm sure the people will still think of you the same way and nothing less. Because at least they know that their Queen did not give up the fight and she stood her ground." Aeris said. "Yeah, you and Akeyana's strengths are about equal and your determination is beyond anything anyone would ever have expected. You got what you wanted and Akeyana got what she wanted, now let's try to enjoy the rest of this night while Akeyana is still here, because I know she has to return soon and I think it would be best if you stay here until tomorrow since its getting dark outside." Aria said.

"Yeah, I guess so. Me and Natasha can stay here until tomorrow."

"Who are these adorable little twins?" Aria said. "Oh these are Akeyana's daughter's. I gave them both silver necklaces with a crystal heart so that they will be easily identifiable. The one with the pink crystal heart is Taos and the one with the yellow crystal heart is Tagnus." Natasha said.

"AKEYANA'S DAUGHTER'S!?!?!" They all shouted in awe. "Yes, they are my children. You all remember Asenia right?" They all nodded. "Well, they had to kill Asenia because she was possessed by the black orb and the Pharaoh knew that these children needed a mother so he thought that I would be best. I know it sounds strange but I think there is hope for these girls even though they are Asenia's children."

"Well I think that was really sweet of you. You can still have children of your own one day but at least you'll get some experience now since you are taking care of these sweet little darlings." Aria said. "It seems that you've had quite a busy week Akeyana. You made new friends, you saved us from any further mishaps from the black orb, you defeated the Prince and brought back his head, and you now have two children of your own. Maybe there is something to all this." Yochiko said.

"I'm sure the Goddess Sana would have been really proud. You represent exactly what she stands for and even more. Beauty, Grace, and Strength." Timaeus said. "Yeah................just like her." Akeyana sighed. "Hey whatever happened to that kind elderly woman who always helped you Akeyana? I haven't seen her around for a long time." said Helmos. Everybody started looking at each other and asking the same question and then they looked back at Akeyana.

Akeyana looked down and took a sip of water. "Umm, I saw her inside the Village of the Shepherds. There are a lot of old people there after all and she just happened totherthere but I didn't spend much time with her. She decided to stay there and of course I had to leave." And yet again, Queen Teania knew she was lying but she still said nothing. "I'm a little tired now guys. I've told you everything I did and saw, now I need to get my rest. It was good chatting with you all again like the good old 'times."

"I agree. After all this I suddenly feel more refreshed talking and laughing together with of yof you. Good night everyone." Natasha said. Everybody said goodnight and went to sleep.

On the Balcony...

Akeyana stood on the balcony and looked into the sky. Queen Teania came over and stood next to her looking downwards at her half fixed city.

"Akeyana? Why did you lie to them?" Akeyana looked at her with an angry face. "What the heck are you talking t?"t?" Queen Teania turned towards her and folded her arms. "You know damn well what I'm talking about. The black orb and the elderly woman. That's not what really happened to them. You were just making it up as you went along. Now what really happened to them?"

"That's none of your damn business." Akeyana rolled her eyes and began walking away. "It is my damn business since that old woman has helped me and you know it. I demand to know what happened to her and mandmand to know the truth about the black orb. You don't plan on telling the Pharaoh those lies and honestly think he's going to believe them are you?"

"Like I said before and I'll say it again. What happened to me, the elderly woman, and the black orb is personal. None of your damn business. I will tell the Pharaoh the same thing I told you all and if he doesn't like it too damn bad."

"Akeyana what has gotten into you? Why are you so mean? I was just concerned about you like everyone else was and I feel that they deserve the truth and you know it."

"Well I wouldn't be so mean if you weren't trying to interrogate me about it. It wasn't all fun and games at that village. I found out some hurtful things about my childhood and someone that I knew had to go away. There's some things I can't tell you and their probably some things you can't or won't tell me like Are you in love with the Pharaoh? and was Maya betraying me or was it you betraying me?"

Queen Teania stood shell-shocked for she knew that she couldn't hide her desirable secret any longer. "Yes Akeyana. I do love the Pharaoh but I did not betray you in any way. I've loved him for quite some time now and I was so jealous of you because although he probably knows that I like him, we will only be friends nothing more.

You are the one who he truly loves and I hope one day you will become his Queen and I will get the honor of seeing you two ruling Egypt together like it was intended to be."

"Thank you Teania. I'm sorry for coming at you like that, its just that horrible memories of mine were coming back to haunt me and the reality of it all was starting to bring anger inside of me. A lot of things happened in that village and I still don't feel like talking about it but I will tell you one day just not anytime soon."

"I'm sorry too Akeyana and if you need someone to talk to just come to me. I've kept my love for the Pharaoh secret for some time now and I know at one point you were feeling like I was taking him away from you but I wasn't. I just wanted to catch up on the life of my good old friend that's all. Nothing but friendly conversation."

"Well now that that's settled let's get some rest. I wish I could talk to you guys all night until I fell asleep but you know I have to leave unfortunately but then again....................................I miss him and I really want to see him again. Goodnight Teania." Akeyana walked to her room and as Teania was slowly following behind she turned around and saw a shooting start whisk across the starry sky. "Lucky girl........................I wish the Pharaoh would tell me how he really feels about me.........................................................."
