A Different Taste

Ok all, I know I said earlier that this wasn't going to be updated, but I couldn't resist
it. So maybe the 3rd time of writing this is a charm. Enjoy!

Chapter 3: The Truth About Everyone *Shizuka's POV*

(Bedroom, Kaiba Manor)

*YAWN* That was a wonderful sleep!

'knock knock knock'

Now who could that be?

"Who is it?" I ask.

"It's me sis."

"Come in." I reply to him.

I watch as Jou opens the door and slowly walks in. He shuts the door behind him and
slowly walks next to me.

"What's wrong onii-chan?" I ask, very curious about his actions.

"Are you ok?" he asks.

"I feel great. I'm glad to be back here with you!"

"I...I have a question to ask ya sis."

I look at my brother who isn't even looking up at me. I pat the bed and he sits
next to me. I put my arm around him as he starts to fidget with his fingers.

"You can ask me anything onii-chan."

"Ok..." he says, then takes a deep breath. "I need to know the honest truth Shizuka.
How do you really feel about me and Se...I mean Kaiba?"

Eh?! Why would he ask my opinion of him and Kaiba? Oh Ra...he's looking at me now.
Ok Shizuka....are you really ok with your brother being gay? He seems so happy now
and Kaiba-sama is an entirely different man... Well, if he's happy, then so am I.

"Onii-chan..." I say smiling. "If you're truly in love and truly happy, then so am I."

"Thanks Shizuka!" he says as he hugs me tightly. "I was really worried about your
reaction. That's why I didn't tell you...or anyone else for the matter."

'knock knock knock'

"Who is it?" Jou and I say in union, then laugh.

"It's me, Seto." he says opening the door. "Are you ready for your tour Shizuka? If
you're staying ehre, then you might as well get to know the place."

"Give us a minute."

"Ok. I'll be down by the front door." he says closing the door.

Jou and I get up then go downstairs to the front door where Kaiba is waiting for us.

"Ready to go?" Kaiba asks.

I nod and off we go!

(Isis and Mai's Limo *Isis' POV*)

I feel great! Especially after what Koo did to me. She's the best lover and person in
the world! No one...not even me really expect for me to be...well...to prefer females
over males. I've been said to be with either Shadi or Kaiba, simply because they can
control Sen'nin Items. Why not the Pharoah you ask? Simply because...

"Isis, we're here." Koo says, interrupting my train of throughts.

We get out the limo and walk to Kaiba's front door. Kaiba's butler, Izono (AN: That's
Roland's Japanese name) opens the door.

"Welcome Ishizu-san and Mai-san. Kaiba-sama is in the living room." he says.

We follow him into the living room where we are formally greeted. I look around to
see Shizuka sitting off looking alone and Kaiba and Jou in a deep conversation.

"Hey guys." Mai says.

They speak to us. Mai and I sit on one of Kaiba's many loveseats. I look towards
Shizuka who is looking more nervous by the minute.

"Hey there Shizuka! When did you get back?" Mai asks.

"Earlier today. Ad 11d 11." she replies nervously.

"Domino Airport? Domino Dock? Domino Train?" Koo asks.

"Train. I got here by train."

"Hey Isis, wasn't that the time we were there?"

"Yes, I believe so. So, why didn't we see her or Jounouchi?"

"Maybe it was because of the huge crowd of people surrounding us hun."

We keep talking until Honda and Otogi come in. They see Shizuka and run to her.
She become very hesitant towards them. Guess she's suspecting everyone who
comes in together to be dating...and she would be correct. Hond and Otogi sit on
a loveseat and cuddle close to each other. Once again, Shizuka has a very
disturbed look upon her face.

After another few minutes of observing Shizuka, Malik, Marik, Ryo, and Bakura come
in.

"Isis, she's shaking." Koo whispers to me.

"I see that. I'll go and talk to her." I say standing and motioning for Shizuka to
follow me.

We go into the dining room which is empty.

"What's wrong Shizuka? You have hardly said a word since we got in." I ask.

"Why Ishizu-san? Why is everyone the way they are? My brother and Kaiba-sama
used to fight all the time. And then Honda and Otogi used to chase after me so
much. Then...then, why is Marik in there?! Aren't you all scared?! He's going to
have another Yami no Game and send us all into the shadows. I'm scared." she
says bursting into tears.

"Shizuka? Don't be afraid. No one has changed from before. We're all still the same
people you knew when you left Domino 3 years ago. Everyone is happy and at peace
with each other now. My brother and his dark spirit don't hate anyone. We're all
friends. The bad as anyone gets is Marik and Bakura who love to spike the punch at
parites. Don't worry, no one is going to hurt anyone."

She looks at me, and slowly becomes calmer.

"Are you ok now?" I ask.

She nods slowly.

"Give everyone a chance. You'll find out that everyone likes to get together and have
fun. I know that Jou would love nothing more than to know that you truly accept him
and Kaiba as lovers."

She nods once again.

"I'm ready to go back now." she says with a bit of hesitation in her voice.

We go back into the living room and Jou gives her a hug.

"Is she ok now Isis?" Koo asks me.

"Yea, hopefully she'll learn to accept everyone for the person they are now, rather than
for the person they love."

"Give me an hour with her, I bet she'll change her mind then!"

"Koo!"

"Just playing, just playing."

"Where's Yugi-san?" Shizuka asks.

"He has to close the shop." Jou says. "Hey, let's go over there to keep the company!"

Everyone gets up and Kaiba calls his limo. They guys all rush to get in his limo. Shizuka,
Koo, and I get into our limo.

"Shizuka, hun? Are you sure that you're ok with all of us?" Koo asks her.

She smiles. Either it's real, or she's playing it really good.

"Yes, ve eve everyone, just the way they are! Now, I can't wait to see Yugi-san!"
