Chapter 3: More Randomness from the Party


Kiba, Tea and Serenity are in the back yard sitting on lawn chairs watching Tristian and Duke argue agian about who Serenity truly loved.

"they make quit a scene." Kiba said as he took a sip of his beer.

Maybe I should just have both of them, then dump them and move one with my life." The red head said in a huff.

Tea and Kiba laughed. Then Tea asked "Which one do you want?"

"The truth?"

"yes"

"Both."

Kiba spit out the sip of beer he had just taken. "Both?"

"Yes both." They are so different that they can't really be camparied to each other."

"Duke might be willing to share," teas said, "but Tristian never would. He was bad about sharing even when we were little kids."

"Well maybe they will kill each other and I won't ever have to decide."

"Marik you need to apologise to Tea."

"Why do you care shot stuff?" He snarled at Yugi

"Look both of you are my friends and you hurt her. You could have done this better. There are people who will be effected if there are hard feeling between the two of you."

"Maybe. I'll think about it. But I am not going back to her."

"Noone asked you to."

"Fine. I saw with Kibe earlyer. If I see her I will talk to her. I'm gonna find Malik."

Tea walked into the kitchen to get a bottle of water. Ryou always made sure there was cold bottles of water for her when he had one of his parties. She never had more than tow drinks, if she even had any at all. While she was reaching into the fridge she felt a hand caress her rearend. "Dance classes sure have given you a hard ass Gardner."

Tea jumped and slaped the hand away as she turned around. "I wonder Malik do you think your funny. That was old the first time you did that in 6th grade."

He shruged "Just stating a fact."

"A fact? Well...uh then ....thanks." 'I don't need this. I have to get out of hear.' she thought to herself. She statred to leave the kitchen.

"Tea wait." she stopped and lookd over her sholder, "Are we still friends?"

She turned to face him. "Why would you ask that?"

"Because of Marik and what he did to you."

"Look I'm not going to talk to you about what happened between Marik and myself."

"Fine. But you haven't answered my question."

"Malik we have been friends since you were brave enough to dance with me in the 3rd grade progam at school. There is nothing that would make me stop being your friend."

Malik stepped up to her and took her hand in his. "you have always been a good friend and I would be upset loose that."

All of the sudden Tea was on the floor with the breath knocked out of her and a very pissed off Marik was stabnding over her.

"Stay away from him. I won't have you interfearing."

" Marik! Stoop it." Malik yelled as he stepped up to Tea to help her up. "I started talking to Tea and what we talked about is none of your business."

"I don't want her to say anything to you." Marik crossed his arms across his chest.

"What am I going to tell him Marik? That I love you and it kills me to hear your name. That I had no idea that this was going to happened. I had no idea that you were in love Marik. That I had no idea that it was ending. That I'm torn between being mad about the fact we had sex before you dumped me and glade that I was able to be with you one last time." As Tea was saying this her voice got louder antill she was yelling and tears began to fall daon her face. Kiba had come in when he heard you voice.

"Malik get Marik out of here before I hurt him." Kiba said in a low and angry voice. Malik grabbed Marik and not only took him out of the room but out of the party.

Seto walked up to Tea and picked her up, carried her over to the kitchen table. He sat down in one of the chairs, put her on his lap and help her while she cried.

The girls decided that ir was time to go. They had a full day of shopping ahead of them tommorrow so they needed to get some sleep. Joey and Mia were making out next to her car while waiting for Tea and Serenity to say their goodbyes.

"Thank you for hanging with me tonight Seto."

"No problem. If I was into girls I would most likely have dated you by now." he kissed her on her forehead. "Hang inre. re. MArik is an ass." Then he walked over to his car.

Serenity was saying good bye to Tristian and Duke. She had had a little too much to drink so she was not thinking clearly or she was overly brave. She hooked an arm around each boys neck and pulled them down so she was cheek to ckeek with them. Duke on the left and Tristan on the right.

"I love you both." Then she kissed each of them on the lips. "see you later guys."

She walked over to Mia's car and got in it.
