Thrown to the Wolves 8
The first thing Katsua had done that night when he got home was to plug the phone back in. The second thie'd e'd done had been to lie awake for hours reliving the last five minutes of his date with Kaiba, namely the feeling of the CEO's burning lips on his throat and those long, elegant fingers trailing over his stomach. That was why, when it came to be nine in the morning and the phone began to ring, Katsuya groaned and buried his head in the pillow. Staying up all night thinking about sex is all fine and good, it just tends to catch up in the morning, he decided.
The phone continued to ring, seeming to get even more impatient. In the end, Katsuya reached out and wrapped his hand around the thing, lifting it off the cradle and to his ear.
"Mmmnnh??" He groaned, refusing to wake up and take his face out of the pillow.
"Well, it's nice to know you're just as articulate as ever in the morning." A deep voice said in mocking tones, and Katsuya finally rolled over so that he could both speak and breathe properly.
"Feel honoured, I normally put the phone down by now when people call this early." Katsuya smirked.
"Is that so? And you call nine o' clock early? I've been up a lot longer than that." Kaiba said.
"And that makes you a freak. So, did you have a reason to call me at stupid o' clock, or do you just want to hear my wonderful voice?" Katsuya grinned.
"I did have a reason, actually." The CEO began. "I wanted to invite you over today. There's something I'd like your help with, and I'm sure you'll enjoy it."
"Should I be getting perverted thoughts right now? 'Cause I am." Katsuya mentioned.
"It was actually to test a new game I've been working on, but if you'd rather do something else..." Kaiba trailed off suggestively, a smirk in his voice.
"Er... the game is fine." Katsuya blushed, getting a few hundred mental images he really didn't need to be fending off at nine in the morning. "Anyone else gonna be there?"
"No, just the two of us. Not even Mokuba, I told him to be elsewhere for the day."
"You kicked your little brother out for me? Wow, I feel so special." Katsuya snickered. "Ok, I'll be over at one, after I've been to see Yugi. Gonna cook for me?"
"I might, if I'm feeling generous. Why, what would you do for me if I did?" Kaiba's voice sounded amused.
"Eat it? And yeah, I know what you were thinking." Katsuya laughed.
"Oh really? Well, we'll see at one if my cooking is good enough for you." Kaiba decided.
"Right, see you then," Katsuya snickered, then put the phone down after Kaiba. Checking his watch, he dragged himself out of bed and towards the shower, intending to go and see Yugi and the rest of his friends before one o' clock.

"So, do you love him?" Ryou asked with a smile as Katsuya finished telling him everything that had happened since they last got together. Also listening were Bakura and Yami, who seemed to be having fun glaring at each other, and Yugi, who was sitting on Yami's lap eating a jam sandwich and getting it all over his fingers.
Katsuya blinked at the question then took a moment to think about it, in the end grinning and shrugging his shoulders.
"I've only been going out with him for a few days, y'know."
"Well then, do you trust him?" Ryou prodded, absently slapping Bakura's hand away from the plate holding Yugi's sandwiches. "Don't even think about it, I'm not cleaning your clothes when you cover them in jam." Ryou glared at his yami, who muttered something dark but decided to be a good boy for the time being. Yami smirked.
"I don't know..." Katsuya sighed. "I don't even know why I gave him another chance."
"Well, Kaiba must care about you if he managed to swallow his pride and apologise. You know what he's like when it comes to admitting he's wrong," Yugi put in, offering Katsuya and Ryou a sandwich. Ryou took one politely, but Katsuya shook his head.
"Nah, Kaiba's cookin' for me. And yeah, I guess you got a point about him sayin' sorry."
"Aww." Ryou smiled. "He's cooking for you." Yugi giggled as the English hikari pulled Bakura down to lie on the floor and began feeding him bits of sandwich. Bakura folded his arms and smirked, letting Ryou feed him and not getting a single drop of jam on his clothes. Yami just rolled his eyes and grabbed Yugi's hand once he'd finished eating, licking the jam from the boy's fingers with a vaguely lecherous look in his eyes.
"Yeah... Well I better get going, don't wanna be late. Anyway, I get the feelin' you guys are gonna want some alone time." Katsuya snickered, deciding that he never, ever wanted to eat jam again.
"Bye!" Yugi called, waving with his free hand.
"See you later," Ryou said with a smile, stuffing the last of the sandwich into Bakura's mouth and moving to sit on his yami's chest because it was a lot more comfortable than the floor. Bakura didn't seem to mind much, and just continued to lie there chewing his sandwich with a smirk on his lips.

Once again, an entire chapter composed entirely of filler. Yup. Right, shall go and update other stuff now, like a good authoress. ^_^;;
