Does being human...mean pain?

{Joey’s Pov}

I cry. Why did she do that to me? What did I do to deservis? is? Being a human? Does it mean pain? I think about what happened and it scares me. I’ll I did was walk to the back...

[Flashback]

I walk to the back of the room but I don’t see a bathroom. The back is kinda dark. Maybe I should’ve asked Seto to come. There’s nothing here I better go back to Seto and ask for help again.

I hear footsteps coming over and tighten the hug on my legs. I don’t look up but I hear a gasp. I keep my face down. Hoping it isn’t that girl that did this to me. I feel to warm gentle arms hug me and I decide to look who it is. My tears return. They’re tears of relief. The person who is holding me is not that girl but it’s...Seto!

I quickly grab Seto like he was the only thing keeping me alive. Seto tightens the hug a little. I bet he’s being cul. ul. God, can I reallve hve him from one day of knowing him. I can, can’t I.

{Seto’s Pov}

What happened to him? His chest is bleeding, his lip is cut, and he’s naked. I hold him gently in my arms. Did that Tea girl do this to him? I will have her job, her home, and her life if she did this to my cheery looking guy. Wait my? I’ll think about that later right now is is my concern.

I’m enraged. I want to kill her right now but I won’t. For now I have to take care of my Joey. I look around for my cloths I let him borrow. I see them on the floor, thankful that the bitch didn’t tear them apart.

“Joey do you need help putting them on?” I ask with a small blush coming. Why am I embarrassed? I’m just asking if I could help dress him nothing wrong with that. He nods his head putting is hand on his still bleeding chest. I carefully do they same on his chest and he flinches.

“Once I get you home. We’ll get this treated.” I say to him. I help him get dress and he needs my help to stand a bit. I gently wrap my arm around his waist and he wraps his arm around my shoulder for balance.

“Oh my, what happened to him,” Tea says as if she didn’t know. She comes close to him and Joey cries in fear. I let my anger take control and push Tea harshly away from Joey. I let myself become cold. I made sure nobody can see my emotion.

“You will pay for what you did.” I say coldly to her. I see her flinch and mentally smirk at how easy it is to scare someone. I hope I’m not scaring Joey.

“Your whole life is the consequence for what you did.” I say just as cold. I then walk up close to her and give her a glare.

“But you’re lucky that I have to take care of Joey first. Don’t try to run I’ll hunt you down.” I say. She falls on her knees. I walk out with Joey in arms. We go home nobody is there so nobody can see how bad Joey is.

Once I get to my room I lay Joey down on the bed anndagndage his wounds. Then the dark brown puppy come in and goes to Joey in a hurry. Joey grabs the puppy and hugs it softly in his arms. He starts crying again, but I see that the puppy is crying too?

“Joey...”
