Chapter 29
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Yami woke with a groan at dawn. He wasn't tied to the tree any more, he was inside the carriage, laying on the floor. He looked around dazedly, wanting to find Ahmose. "Ahmose..." he whimpered softly.
But when he tried to leave the carriage, there was the clink of a chain, and he found a collar around his neck.
Yami blinked and tugged at the collar lightly, trying to remove it. "Hnnn.." he shook his head a bit, trying to wake up and shake away his daze. "gotta find Ahmose..."
But all he could manage was to open the door of the carriage. Seto wasn't in sight, but the two werewolves and four imps were; the vampires had gone to bed. But the remaining creeps working for Seto were sitting around the fire, eating and laughing. Behind them was Ahmose, curled up tightly in his cloak at the base of a tree, shivering violently as his breath misted in the air. Other than freezing, he looked okay, but then again, Yami could only see his face, pale with dark circles under his eyes.
Yami growled and tugged on the chain. He wanted to get out and nuzzle his lover, warm him up from the cold, which had him shivering after a moment as well. "Ahmose!" he growled and tugged on the collar again. "Damnit!"
Then, Seto walked into view. "Get ready to go!" He ordered, and the werewolves and imps scattered. Seto walked over to Ahmose. "I've unbound a small amount of your magic. Get yourself dressed." Ahmose sat there and didn't move. Seto glared. "I SAID--"
"I DID!!!" Ahmose snapped, and stood, fully dressed. Seto blinked.
"Oh. Go get your fuckin' horse."
"I'll see if I can do that, but I seem to have trouble telling the difference between you and his ass." Ahmose said, staggering away. Seto narrowed his eyes and glared after the sorcerer.
Yami snickered slightly at that. "Ahmose!" he called eagerly. "Ahmose!"
Ahmose turned and looked at Yami. He blinked, then gave him a tender smile before limping out of his line of sight.
Yami gave a relieved sigh and slumped against one of the seats, before going back to the task of trying to detach either the collar from himself, or the chain from the floor of the carriage.
"Don't bother." Seto growled, standing at the door. "I hope you enjoyed your sight of him. That may be the last time he'll ever smile at you."
Yami growled slightly. "He'll always smile at me, because we love each other." he snorted, still tugging the collar slightly.
Seto smirked. "Let me put it this way... The next time you see, you may find yourself seeing his last moments of life..."
Yami bristled and lunged at Seto, though he didn't get far thanks to the collar, he fell flat on his stomach and growled swiping at Seto. "As if you haven't hurt him enough!"
Seto grinned. "It will all depend on you." He said.
Yami glared. "What's that supposed to mean?" he grumbled, tugging on the collar once more. "and get this thing off of me!"
"No." Seto said, and suddenly the chain retracted, jerking Yami back in the carriage to provide room for him to climb in.
Yami gagged as he toppled backwards and struggled to right himself, though now he was forced to crouch on the floor, the chain not giving him any room to move whatsoever.
Seto sat down and waited, silently. In a few minutes, the carriage began to move.
Yami struggled with the chain more, though he wasn't able to do much since there was so little slack and he had to keep his head relatively close to the floor.
"Get this thing off me!" he howled tail lashing. "This is NOT comfortable!"
The chain loosened enough for Yami to sit on the seat, but that was it.
Yami sighed and stood sitting in the seat and glaring. "Get this thing off of me." he snorted glaring slightly. "I dont care if I'm a hostage or not, you dont treat princes like that!"
Seto smirked. "You're not a prince in this world... you're a pet."
"WHAT?!" Yami howled indignantly. "I am most certainly not a PET!"
Seto grinned. "You are now."
"Oh no I'm not!" Yami growled.
"Be quiet!" Seto snapped. "Your chosen's life hangs in the balance."
Yami glared but silenced himself.
"Good boy." Seto cooed.
Yami growled at him. "Kiss ass."
Seto smirked. "Oh, I kissed some ass last night... and licked... and bit..." He gave Yami a sinister grin. "Your poor chosen can hardly ride his horse today... After all... he DID ride ME last night..."
Yami lunged at Seto once more. "I'll fucking kill you!" he snarled but yelped when the chain suddenly retracted and slammed him harshly into the floor.
Seto laughed, putting his foot on Yami's head. "Now now now... that's not a good little demon... you need to behave..."
Yami growled and struggled to get up. "Get off of me." he growled trying to sit up, but having literally an inch of chain to work with he wasn't getting far at all.
Seto increased the pressure on Yami's head.
Yami winced and grew still, whimpering slightly as Seto stepped harshly on his head.
"Still wanna talk back?" He asked.
Yami whimpered once more. "No…" he mumbled tail lashing and giving away his anger.
Seto grinned. "Good boy..." He cooed again, taking his foot off of Yami's head and petting him. "Very good, showing such self control. Now sit on your seat like a big boy."
Yami growled once more and sat in his seat glaring daggers at Seto, wings quivering in fury. Ohhh he'd get him. Screw it all, he'd sic the entire demon forces on this jackass, his head would be adorning the throne room's walls once he had the chance! This fucker had to die.
"I'm not a pet..." he growled crossly.
"Hold your tongue." Seto said, slapping Yami.
Yami swiped at Seto's hand and snapped at him. "Leave me alone."
Seto narrowed his eyes, then slapped Yami again. "Be silent!!!"
Yami snapped at him again growling and glaring death.
Seto growled right back, then backhanded Yami to the floor, pouncing him and jerking his pants down. "I'll fuckin teach you who is your master!!!"
Yami yipped in shock and scuttled away, clutching his pants and glaring. "Hands off!"
But the chain jerked him down so he couldn't lift his head and shoulders off of the floor, and Seto ripped his pants down again.
Yami thrashed, struggling to pick himself up, his wings flapping wildly. "Let me go! Get off!" he howled in fury.
"Oh, I don't think so..." Seto hissed, and a moment later Yami heard a metallic shriiing; the sound of a blade being pulled from its sheathe.
Yami's eyes widened and he thrashed more. "Don’t!" he howled squirming away, his tail for once between his legs. "Stop!"
Seto snickered and placed the blade against the base of Yami's tail. "Move it or lose it."
Yami swallowed hard. "P-please don’t..." he whimpered trying to squirm away from Seto.
"MOVE IT!!!"
Yami whimpered and moved his tail looking absolutely terrified.
Seto grinned, and then Yami felt the tip of the knife tracing tickling patterns over the skin of his backside. "Would you like to feel it? What you made your chosen feel?"
Yami hunched down and shook his head. "N-not really, no...."
Seto laughed. "An eye for an eye... do you not beleive in that?"
"No. The whole world would be blind." Yami swallowed hard his tail quivering, wanting back between his legs. The pit in his stomach was probably the size of the holy city itself. He whimpered once more.
Seto laughed, and flipped the knife, plunging the hard cold handle into Yami's body.
Yami yelped and thrashed. "No!" he gasped struggling. "Stop!"
"Would you rather have something bigger?" Seto hissed.
Yami shook his head. "No!" he squirmed. "Stop please...."
Seto just laughed and began moving it in and out of Yami's body. "What's wrong?! You're an Incubus! You should be ENJOYING this!!!"
Yami thrashed more. "Stop!" he yelped whimpering. What would he tell his mother!? No succubus or incubus had EVER been raped before (and lived to tell about it anyway…)! His tail whipped around Seto's wrist, trying to stop him. "Please stop!"
Seto just laughed. "Why?! You gave your human WORSE than this!!!"
Yami shook his head, tears welling in his eyes. "Stop please! You can’t!"
"I can't? I can't?! HAH!!!"
Yami thrashed more his wings flapping wildly. "I don’t want to!" he squirmed away and swung himself under the seat staring at Seto with wide frightened eyes, his tail pulling the knife from his body, before curling back between his legs.
Seto just smirked and chuckled, slowly returning to his own seat. "Next time I'll do you myself..." He told Yami.
Yami swallowed hard, shakily pulling his pants up, remaining under the seat and curling up tightly. He'd never been more terrified of anything in his life... that wasn't sex. That wasn't sex at all! He shuddered. That was the most OPPOSITE of sex he'd ever had the displeasure of ever feeling!
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
At around midday, the carriage slowed to a stop. Seto turned and looked at the door, and a moment later, it opened. "We've found it, sir." Said a werewolf. "And more allies are here waiting, just as they promised."
"Good." Seto said. "Bring our dear prince and let's get this party started." He said, climbing out of the carriage. The werewolf grabbed the chain and jerked.
"Come on, your highness!"
Yami jumped and skidded across the floor of the carriage toppling out. "Damn you..." he growled clawing at the werewolf. He'd been half asleep when that'd happened!
Yami looked around and saw many creatures around... werewolves, demons of all manner, and coffins on carriages in which vampires were hiding until nightfall.
He blinked and growled. "what's all this?" he said glaring at the gathering.
"Just my allies, come to serve me in my war..." Seto said with a smirk. "And to see the... spectacle this evening when the sun goes down..."
"What spectacle?" Yami bristled, growling.
"You'll see." Seto said with an evil grin.
Yami growled louder at Seto tail lashing. He lunged for him once more despite the earlier 'lesson'.
Seto immediately whirled and slammed Yami against the carriage. "Are you just begging me to introduce your ass to the BLADE end of my knife?!"
Yami gasped eyes widening and he silenced immediately, tail once more between his legs.
"That's better." Seto said, and chained Yami to a tree. "Just enjoy the views for now. I have some arrangement to make."
Yami growled once more glaring at the tree and trying to untie the chain. "Damn you...." he hissed. "You'll regret your actions.."
"I'm sure..." Seto chuckled, walking away. As the sun began to go down, the creatures gathered grew excited, and that excitement only intensified when the vampires awoke. It was an hour after sundown that Seto appeared again, announcing that the game was about to begin. He walked over to Yami, grinning. "You get a second chance, tonight."
Yami snarled. "At what? Being beaten to a pulp?"
Seto laughed. "No. You'll see." He said, as the large gathering began to file their way up the hill. They got to a wide ravine that led to a large cave, and they all gathered along the high edges. Seto led Yami up to a point above the mouth of the cave.
Yami blinked and glared. He didn't like where this was going. He hadn't quite figured out EXACTLY where it was going, but he didn't like it just the same.
Seto smirked and the chain was attached to an old scorched tree. "This should prove... VERY entertaining..." He said, as torches were passed among the crowd, soon lighting the dark ravine. A moment later, Julian and Kristov emerged from the darkness, dragging Ahmose who was bound, gagged and blindfolded. They approached a large wooden pillar and they bound Ahmose's hands above his head, facing the mouth of the cave, and then ran.
Yami growled and immediately began struggle against the chain. "AHMOSE!" he yowled. "What are you doing?! Let him go!" he struggled more wings flailing and flapping, trying to get enough strength behind his struggles that the chain would break. "AHMOSE!"
This situation was getting more and more unpleasant every second!
Seto chuckled. “Calm down, Atemu.” He said, watching Ahmose struggle to free himself. “The fun hasn’t even begun… we have yet to introduce him to his opponent…” As he spoke, an imp trotted into view, dragging Ahmose’s knife and one of his Kris. He dropped them a few yards in front of Ahmose, and then began creeping towards the cave, eyes wide in fear.
Yami growled, though he didn't calm down. "Opponent?! Leave him alone! He's still weak! He's lost a lot of blood over the past few days, been raped several times and to top it off he's tied up! That's not fair at all!"
Seto just chuckled as the imp began to fearfully call into the cave, throwing little stones into it, loud clatters echoing around. After a few minutes, a rumble echoed through the cave. The imp blinked and chittered a bit, then let out a screech and turned to run. But a blast of fire emerged from the cave and the imp was incinerated, nothing but a charred skeletal corpse left behind. Ahmose had paused at the rumble and tensed at the heat of the fire and the imp's last scream. Seto just grinned.
Yami's eyes widened. "Are you insane?!" he howled thrashing. "A Dragon?!?”
Seto laughed. "Let's just see what this sorcerer is capable of..." He said, and a moment later the crowds gathered around gasped and began cheering. And then a snout came into Yami's line of sight, smoke curling from the nostrils. The dragon moved into view, it's red scales glittering in the light of the many torches, its ears twisting about as it looked around, blinking at the gathering. But the young immature drake (only about 40 feet long) had seen it before.
Upon recognizing the audience, it immediately turned to the pillar, sniffing. It shook its massive head, scales and horns rattling. It stretched out its wings and beat them a couple of times before folding them to his back again, lashing his long spiked tail as it slowly began to creep closer to Ahmose, inspecting this offering, curiously.
Yami yowled and tugged at the collar. "Stop! Don’t eat him he's mine!" he howled shaking his head. "Leave him alone!"
Ahmose struggled, turning his head and rubbing it against his arm, managing to lift the blindfold. His eye focused on the dragon and widened. He redoubled his efforts to free himself. The dragon leaned down, sniffing. Ahmose jerked and gave it a swift kick in the nose. The dragon let out a squawk and jerked back, shaking his head and pawing at his nose.
Yami stared. "Oh God AHMOSE DON’T PISS HIM OFF!" he howled struggling more.
Ahmose paused, cocking his head at Yami's shout, then strained, and Seto grunted in surprise as he managed to get one hand free. He reached into his boot and pulled a small knife. Seto scowled.
"YOU IDIOTS MISSED ONE!!!" He shouted as Ahmose cut his other hand free. The dragon turned and looked at the sorcerer who was pulling ropes from his body, and removing the gag and blindfold, staring up at the dragon... he was pale, though whether it was out of fear or his blood loss was anyone's guess...
Yami froze, staring hardly able to breathe. Dragons were capable of speech... and understanding it. Even at a young age dragons usually knew three spoken-word languages. He swallowed hard, hoping that the dragon was willing to let Ahmose go.
But his hope was dashed as the dragon lunged at Ahmose, the sorcerer narrowly dodging the strike.
Yami gasped and shook his head. "You can’t be serious!" He howled lunging for Seto for the third time that day. "Let him go! You'll kill him!"
Seto grinned, looking at Yami. "You have no faith in your chosen's skill?" He asked, turned back to the spectacle. Ahmose had dodged another strike and rolled under the dragon, catching up his Kris. The dragon reared back onto his hind legs, backing away until he had Ahmose well in his sights. The sorcerer raised the blade, which ignited. The dragon paused, cocking his head, then let loose a great jet of flames, consuming everything in its path.
Yami growled trying to attack Seto. "I have plenty of faith in my chosen, but not enough to fell a dragon even in perfect health!"
"Awwww... even with all his magic?" Seto asked, watching as the dragon's blast of fire continued. "Hmmm... looks like he's going to have your chosen well-done."
Yami growled swiping at Seto, claws catching on his cloak. "You bastard!"
Seto turned and backhanded Yami as the flames finally subsided. A cheer went up as Ahmose was revealed, hiding behind the pillar to shield himself from the flames, though he was a bit singed.
Yami sighed in relief and his wings drooped. "Ahmose..." he growled. "Get him out of there!"
Seto smirked. "And what will you do for me?" He asked, watching the dragon lunge again. Ahmose dodged, swinging his blade. The dragon let out an angry screech as it cut open his snout. His tail lashed around, and the sorcerer ducked and rolled, slashing the dragon's leg.
"I can’t do anything for you!" Yami howled furiously. "I have nothing to offer!"
Seto smirked. "Hm... pity." and he turned as the dragon swung his head around, finally catching Ahmose and sending him flying with the blow.
Yami winced and whimpered. "Stop! He's still weak! He doesn't have any chance!"
"Then you need to give him a chance." Seto said as Ahmose fended off the dragon's claws.
Yami growled. "I'm chained to the damn tree!" he yowled. "I can’t help!"
Seto chuckled. "You'll figure it out..." He said, watching. Ahmose rolled to the side and leapt away, trying to escape, but in a flash, the dragon caught his leg in his jaws, and Ahmose screamed as he was flung across the ravine and into the rocks, falling to the ground and laying still, stunned.
Yami yowled again. "Ahmose! Oh God Ahmose!" he whimpered shaking his head. He looked at Seto desperately. "Please! Stop it! What do you WANT from me?! Please! Don’t kill my chosen!"
Seto whirled. "You KNOW what I want!!!" He shouted as the cheers went up.
Yami swallowed hard looking between Ahmose and Seto. "I... I...." he shook his head. Ahmose would never forgive him! If his vast demon army charged on the Vatican... the holy city would fall. There wasn't any doubt, the holy city WOULD fall. "I don’t have any armies!" Yami wailed. "I'm just the prince!"
"You may not have armies or authority... but you have influence..." Seto said with a smirk as the dragon closed in, flames dripping from its jaws. "I'm sure there are a few who would listen to you and be willing to join my cause..." There was a shriek as the dragon placed its great paw on Ahmose's back and dug his talons into the flesh.
Yami whimpered at the sight. "Fine! Fine! Please save him!" he wailed shaking his head.
Seto grinned. "Done." He turned and gestured to several demons. They whined, but began making their way down into a ravine, and the crowd booed; with Ahmose's arm in the dragon's mouth, things were just getting good!!!
Yami sighed, slumping to the ground, his wings drooping right along with him. He'd have to give Seto as little as he could... Maybe a few imps...
The dragon screeched and leapt back as the demons attacked. One of them scooped up Ahmose and ran into the darkness as the others fought the dragon back. The beast screamed angrily and seized a large demon in his mouth, then turned and retreated into his cave, satisfied to have some dinner...
Yami sighed as the demon who carried Ahmose returned. He stood quickly, trying to get to his lover, but the chain was just too short. "Ahmose oh God are you ok?!"
The sorcerer groaned a horrible grimace on his face.
"Will he live?" Seto asked, calmly.
"He will need a healer..." The demon growled, looking down at the human. He showed Seto Ahmose's arm; it was horribly mangled and covered in the dragon's venomous saliva.
Yami looked horrified. "Please heal him!" he turned to Seto. "Use that horrible magic of yours for something good!" he whimpered. "You can’t let my chosen die!"
Seto snorted, but smirked. "You go, Atemu. Return home. Bring me someone worth healing him for."
Yami stared in shock at Seto, while the chain detached itself from the tree, shortening to a manageable length, which hung loosely from his collar. He shook his head before disappearing in a heartbeat.
Seto laughed. "Come! Back to camp! And we move immediately, before the dragon decides he's still hungry!!!" And the large gathering of creatures did just that. In under an hour they were on their way, a couple of imps tending to the wounded sorcerer in the back of a cart, Nakhti trotting behind, following his master.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Bakura was awoken by Mikado. The boy was sweating and groaning in his sleep, twitching and moving about, obviously in the throes of a nightmare.
Bakura frowned and gently shook Mikado. "Mikado... wake up." he cooed gently. "Wake up."
The boy moaned again, head jerking to the side. "No..." He mumbled, sounding quite upset.
Bakura blinked. ~Mikado wake up it's just a nightmare...~
~N-No... stop it... it... it'll kill him...~ The boy was moaning.
~Kill who? What's wrong?~
Mikado just whimpered again, rolling over and fisting his hand in the pillow.
Bakura pulled Mikado close and hugged him in his sleep. ~Mikado it's just a dream...wake up ok?~ he soothed. ~I wouldn't lie to you...it's just a dream now wake up...~
Mikado began to shout and thrash. "NO!!! NO!!! Let me go! Ahmose!!! AHMOSE!!! NO!!!"
Bakura yelped and shook Mikado once more. "Mikado! It's just a dream!"
He jerked and his eyes flew open. He gasped, staring at Bakura. "... Bakura?"
Bakura hugged him. "You're awake..." he cooed hugging him. "Thank the gods. What were you dreaming about that had you so upset?"
Mikado stared at Bakura, eyes wide. "A-Ahmose... and a dragon!!!"
"Shhh it's ok." Bakura soothed. "It was just a dream."
Mikado sobbed and clung to Bakura. "It... it was gonna kill him!"
"Shhh he's ok..." Bakura said rubbing Mikado's back. "It was just a dream..." he nuzzled the youth. "I'm more worried about you... are you feeling ok? hungry?" he asked running a hand through Mikado's hair.
Mikado sniffled, nodding.
Bakura rubbed his back. "Wanna go on your first hunt?" he offered softly. "You don’t have to if you don’t want to.."
Mikado moaned. "I'm so tired..." He mumbled. "And I ache... all over..." He laid his head down on Bakura's chest, eyes drifting closed again.
Bakura sighed and smiled. "Alright...." he bit his wrist and offered it to Mikado, still plenty full from the night before. "But you have to eat understand?"
Mikado cooed and latched on to Bakura's wrist, feeding quietly cuddled into his sire, not batting an eye even as there was a knock on the door.
"Come in." Bakura called cuddling his lover close.
Lillith slipped in, carrying some clothes. "I have your clean laundry, Master." She said, laying it on the chest at the foot of the bed. "Is Master Mikado doing well?"
"He had a nightmare." He said calmly. "But he's hungry, so he's fine."
She smiled. "That's good to hear. Can I get you anything?"
"No thank you. I'm fine." Bakura said after a moment. "I'll stay with Mikado for now."
She nodded and gave a little curtsey, slipping out of the room, but before she closed the door, she slipped something in. A moment later, the little phantom hound puppy scrambled onto the bed and made her way up to Bakura and Mikado.
Bakura chuckled. "Well hello Enehy." he said petting her. "Mikado... your puppy's come to visit you."
A moment later, Ahmose's Hell hound appeared. She pounced on Bakura's feet under the blankets, then trotted up to lick the vampire in the face.
Bakura chuckled. "And Abana." he said plucking up the dog with his spare hand, and putting her next to Mikado, the puppy licking his face.
Mikado paid no heed to the puppies licking his face and nibbling his ears; he was too busy feeding.
Bakura laughed and shook his head. Once Mikado's feeding slowed, he pulled his wrist away. "I'll be back... I'm going hunting." he said ruffling Mikado's hair.
Mikado blinked, then nodded quietly, curling up and cuddling the puppies, who both seemed quite content.
Bakura chuckled and dressed heading out the door. ~Try to rest.~
~Heh... no problem there...~ Mikado snickered, snuggling down under the blankets.
Bakura smiled and walked down the halls smiling. Otogi had reminded him last night... of just what a cute kid Mikado had been. He'd all but forgotten about that kid coming to his home.
What really got Bakura was how much the boy had grown in three years, literally growing nearly twelve inches and filling out. He had always been well toned, but he finally grew up and lost his baby fat as his body matured. He was a young man now, but that mischeivious impulsive child was still very much there.
He shook his head. He had to wonder when it was exactly, that that impulsive little mischief maker had stolen his heart. He continued walking. Perhaps it had been the day he'd come back, and actually knew what the hell he was doing...
~*~
Bakura blinked and glanced up from his book at a knock on the door. He snorted and went back to reading. A moment later, young Lillith came in, smiling.
"Master." She called, softly. "Someone is here to see you. It... it's the boy from the Vatican..."
Bakura smirked. "Alright... let him in. Hopefully this time he's something to say." he said chuckling and going back to his book. When Mikado came in, he peered up over the edge. "Back again are we?" he said smiling into the book.
To his surprise, the boy had grown a couple of inches over the past few months; ahhh... puberty had set in. "... I'm looking for someone." He said softly. His voice had yet to change... "And you know who he is and where he is..."
Bakura smirked. "You've grown." he said, disregarding the question for now.
The boy blinked a couple of times, a look of confusion crossing his young face. "Um... Okay..."
Bakura chuckled. "So you're seeking information? My information isn't for children... and it isn't cheap."
Mikado sighed. "It's simple enough." He said, walking over. "I don't know his name. Or where to find him. But I know he purchased one of your horses. And I know you only sell three or four each year. It was a filly. Four years ago. She was different from your horses... she was brown and white... not black..."
"What of it?" Bakura said putting his book down to look at Mikado. "Why should I tell you anything at all?"
"I have to find him." Mikado said.
Bakura chuckled once more. "My information is not free. It comes at it's price."
Mikado blinked and frowned slightly. "Um... okay..." He said, looking down and digging in his belt pouch. Bakura could hear coins jingling.
Bakura laughed. "Boy, look around." He said calmly. "What good will MORE money do me?"
Mikado looked at him. "But... you said it came at a price..." He said, baffled.
Bakura rolled his eyes and pulled Mikado forward tilting his head to the side and biting his neck gently.
The boy's eyes widened and he gasped, struggling. But he was no match for the vampire, and soon gave in, closing his eyes and whimpering.
Bakura pulled away when he'd drank to his satisfaction, and Mikado was slightly dizzy. "What would you like to know?" he purred, quite content.
The boy moaned, barely able to stand on his own two feet, and he kept his eyes tightly closed.
Bakura blinked and laughed standing and picking Mikado up carrying him closer to the fireplace and sitting him on the soft bear rug. "Lillith? Fetch this boy some cookies and milk." he called out.
He ran a hand through Mikado's hair. "It's ok... it'll pass, I didn't take much from you."
The boy just whimpered again. "If... if my superiors find out..." He whined. "Oh God..." He clutched his cross, trying to calm down and get his senses back... that had been... slightly disturbing... and, he refused to admit... erotic... he was not only dizzy but all hot and bothered... he prayed that the vampire didn't notice that the boy was slightly aroused...
Bakura chuckled softly. He had indeed noticed, but said nothing, just draped a warm quilt over Mikado's shoulders. "They won’t find out, because you won’t tell them, and I won’t tell them." he said as the young lady hurried in with the tray setting it next to Mikado and giggling.
SHE however didn't have her master's courtesy in being silent about certain... arousals.
“Oh my goodness!!!” She gasped, then burst into hysterical giggles. “M-Master!!! I… I think he likes you!!!” Mikado stared at her, mortified, his mouth hanging open as the blood rose in his cheeks.
Bakura chuckled. "Lillith don’t you have something to be dusting?" he said shooing her. "You need to learn more courtesy." he called after her. Of course this was only answered with more giggles.
She turned and ran from the room, and more servants were heard giggling out in the corridor as they began to chatter. Mikado whined, covering his face in his hands.
Bakura snorted and closed the door laughing softly. "Every generation those girls get more chatty." he said calmly looking back to Mikado. "And you..."
Mikado stared hard at the bear rug he was sitting on, unable to even raise his eyes to look at the vampire's boots, humiliated.
Bakura sat next to Mikado and lifted his chin. "You have a crush on me." he said plainly. "I could taste it in your blood..."
Mikado's eyes widened, filled with horror. "WHAT?! N-No!!!"
"Oh really? Then what was that?" he said smirking. "I highly doubt it was Lilith that aroused you between then and now."
The boy whined, jerking his chin out of the vampire's fingers and scooting away.
Bakura chuckled softly. "It's a sin of yours, to lie. And that includes lying to yourself."
The Agent bit his lip and refused to speak.
Bakura laughed and pat Mikado's head. "It's unprofessional to have a crush on an informant." he said leaning forward to hiss in Mikado's ear. "And so inappropriate for your religion to harbor erotic thoughts and feelings for a vampire hmm?"
Mikado's eyes widened and he shivered, taking a slow shakey breath. His pulse quickened at the vampire's close proximity.
Bakura chuckled darkly. "And...what if I were to bite you again?" he said, teeth grazing Mikado's neck. "I'm willing to bet the result would be the same..."
Mikado gasped, closing his eyes and shivering, biting back a moan.
"Lets find out.." Bakura hissed, biting down once more, though he drank very little, not wanting to harm the youth...just tease his senses.
Mikado jerked and groaned, his fingers gripping the vampire's house coat.
Bakura continued his little 'snack-teasing' session for a long while before finally licking the wound closed once more. "Tell me now...that you dont have a crush on me." he hissed a hand trailing down to grope at his point proven. Gods he loved being right.
Mikado cried out, eyes wide as his hips bucked into Bakura's touch (without permission!!!). He threw himself away from the vampire and scuttled across the floor, falling over his own cloak more than once, and then falling over his own hair landing flat on his face.
Bakura laughed and shook his head walking to his desk. "It's nothing to be ashamed of." he said calmly, taking out a bit of parchment and picking up his quill, beginning to write. "Vampires in themselves, are beings that fascinate the humans. Our very existance is like an erotic story. Sneaking upon helpless victims...biting their necks and feeding. Humans romance our stories and some even dream that they might too be a victim."
Mikado just stared at Bakura from where he sat on the floor, back against the wall. His hand was resting on his neck, over the scars that Bakura had left him with more than a year ago as payment for saving his life.
Bakura chuckled calmly. "Though...you are the first human to come to me over and over, harboring feelings." he said smirking. "It's almost like you're wishing something bad might happen to keep you here."
Mikado blinked and his eyes widened. "... what? No!!! I... I just..."
"You just what?" Bakura said going back to what he was writing.
"I came because that horse was my best lead!!!" Mikado insisted.
Bakura chuckled before nodding. "If you say so." He picked up his paper and looked Mikado over once more. "Do away with that crush. I cannot love you."
Mikado blinked and looked down, nodding silently. "I know." He said.
Bakura stood after a moment, folding the parchment and walking over to Mikado. He placed the paper in the youth's hand. "I will give you a kiss goodbye." he said smirking. "So at least you'll have gotten something from your feelings." he cooed. "Unless you object that is..."
Mikado blinked and stared up at him, blushing. "W-What?!" He gasped. "I... I do NOT have a crush on you!!!" He wailed, VERY unconvincingly.
"I'm not hearing an objection to the kiss." Bakura chuckled.
The boy squeaked and pressed himself up against the wall, looking scared shitless. His little heart was pounding.
Bakura smirked and rolled his eyes. "If you don’t want the kiss, then leave now. You have your information."
The boy blinked down at the parchment in his hand and opened it. "... Giovanni Cipriani..." He said softly, then looked up at Bakura and smiled. "Thank you."
Bakura nodded. "Last chance before I kiss you." he chuckled.
The boy blushed and his eyes went wide again.
Bakura chuckled and inched closer. "You've had three chances to get away... and all three you've avoided." he hissed. "So, you're getting this kiss, because I'm going to assume that you want it."
The boy squeaked and pressed himself up against the wall, as if trying to go through it, his lip trembling.
Bakura leaned forward and captured those trembling lips in a simple chaste kiss.
Mikado gasped and squeaked at that, shutting his eyes quickly and keeping them closed, long after Bakura had backed off.
Bakura laughed. "How long are you going to stand against my wall looking terrified?" he said his eyes sparkling with amusement. "The kiss is long over."
Mikado's red face darkened and quickly shoved himself off of the wall and stared at the floor, fidgeting. "Um... sorry..." He squeaked, wincing at the giggling just outside the door. "I'll uh... go now..." And he hurried to the door and slipped out.
Bakura chuckled once more, returning to work. He'd be back.
He smiled thoughtfully. He had lied. He COULD have loved Mikado... but he's still young, and humans tend to love humans, before they love creatures of eternal night like Vampires.
Bakura kept an ear open, hearing the boy's pony trot away into the woods. And just as Bakura had predicted, in fifteen minutes, the boy was back. He heard the pony prance a bit, and then, to his amusement, he heard the boy curse.
"Shit! Not again!!!" Mikado turned his pony and headed back into the forest. This time he was gone half an hour before he returned. "Oh, come ON!!! DAMN!!!"
Bakura laughed from within his home and shook his head. Once AGAIN he had Strigoi readied, leaving the youth a chance to find his way out of the woods on his own for another fifteen minutes.
But in twenty minutes, the pony pranced back around the bend. "GOD FUCKIN' DAMMIT!!!"
Bakura laughed again, picking up the plate of cookies and once again wrapping them in cloth, carrying the mug of milk outside. He mounted his horse and rode over to Mikado, giving him the treats. "You need to stop coming." he said smiling. "If you're going to make me escort you home every time."
Mikado blinked down at the milk and cookies and flushed terribly. "... This is so embarrassing..." He mumbled.
Bakura chuckled and once again urged Strigoi into a trot, leading Mikado through the forest. "It's alright. All I have is time, and I suppose I can spare you some."
Mikado blinked up at the vampire, and smiled. "Thank you." He said.
"But next time, mark your path." Bakura said chuckling. "So I don’t have to lead you out of the forest."
Mikado smiled and nodded. "Yessir... I will." He said.
"And Mikado...don’t let your heart get in the way of your mind." he said after a moment. "It only leads to trouble."
The boy blinked up at Bakura. "Oh... yeah..." He looked down, nibbling a cookie.
Once they reached the forest's edge, he turned Strigoi once more. "You know the way from here." he said offering the youth a smile. "Try not to get lost anymore." And back into the forest he rode once more.
"Thank you!" The boy called once more, turning his pony and trotting off to the Vatican...
~*~
Bakura chuckled to himself... the boy did indeed mark his path, and did fine for his next two visits, but on the third, snow had covered the marks in the path, and Bakura had to guide him through the woods once more, the entire time teasing the boy (who had graduated to a horse) about the pony he once rode.
Bakura chuckled and shook his head. His little lover had grown up so beautifully. Even though he was still so young, he was slowly becoming a man. Not by age, but by actions and thoughts. He was finally finding his place in the world, and even if he personally didn't agree with the Vatican, he would support Mikado in everything he did.
~Mikado...I love you.~
What he got in return was a happy sigh and smile. ~I *yawn* love you too...~
Bakura grinned. His fledgling.... HIS lover. He'd never thought he'd live to see the day a human would choose to be with him. It made his heart flutter.
~Hey Mikado...~ he said snickering softly. ~Whatever happened to your pretty little pony?~
The drowsy fledgling frowned a bit. ~... huh?~
~That little pony you used to ride to my home and get lost on.~ Bakura chuckled. ~Remember?~
~... oh yeah... he'd be in the stable...~ Mikado mumbled. ~With the other ponies...~
~Remind me to give him some oats. I think I owe him for bringing a little lover to my home so many times.~
Mikado gave a sleepy giggle.
Bakura's tender moment with Mikado was short lived. A moment later his mind snapped as it felt a familiar presence make itself known. His eyes widened slightly. His sire had entered this realm once more...
