A Torn Friendship
At Teania's House...
Adriana held onto Akeyana's hand as she led her into the house. "Here she is." Adriana ran over to her mother. They all gasped when they saw Akeyana come through the door. "Doesn't she look pretty mommy?" Adriana said lovingly. "Yes she does." Aria smiled. "What happened to you Akeyana?" Teania walked in circles around her. "I just got a make over that's all. I needed a different change in appearance so I got one." They all begin clapping as Akeyana stared down at the floor shyly. "Adriana why don't you go upstairs and get finished getting ready." Aria said in a deep voice. Adriana gave her mother a kiss on the cheek and then she ran upstairs. "Now Akeyana I brought you here to tell you something but, please don't get mad." Teania said nervously.
"What's going on" Akeyana was beginning to become very pissed off. "Yesterday while me and Aria were walking home, we saw a young lady crying and sobbing and it looked pretty pitiful so we decided to help her out. Then we found out that it was...........Asenia and we decided to help her anyway. She is upstairs sleeping right now." Akeyana stood there with her mouth hanging open, trying not to believe what she is hearing. "Are you all mad? She is going to do nothing but cause trouble and you all fell for her little act." Akeyana was beginning to become even more tense. "Akeyana calm down, we were only trying to help her. If she was a regular person I know you would have helped her out. The girl is pregnant and homeless, she needs help for the sake of her baby and herself. Lets just put the past behind us and help her out." Teania protested. "Hell no I'm not helping that evil little bitch out. Why do you let her manipulate you all into thinking that she is good. She is not good and she is only going to cause trouble for you all later on." Akeyana shouted in a rage.
"Akeyana let's be reasonable here, she needs help. If your not going to do it for her sake than do it for the sake of that little baby inside there." Teania argued back. "Look I don't have time for this. You all can take care of Asenia if you want to but, I will not be apart of this. If you all cared so much about these children and yourselves you would let the people in the palace take care of her." Teania slapped Akeyana across the face causing her to fall over. "Why can't you get your mind off the Pharaoh for once and help Asenia. You all can never be together anyway so why do you constantly bother him. Let it go and help her. She would have done the same for you if she was in your shoes." Akeyana got up and slapped her even harder leaving a scratch mark on the side of her face. "That's because I'm not a stupid bitch unlike your self who has to help everybody and ends up getting yourself into some shit you can't get out of. I'm doing this for your gottdamn benefit not mine. I'm not a stupid little gullible, naive, retard, who thinks everything she says is perfect. You'll learn one day. And when your corpse is lying in the river don't come calling me. I'm through with this. For someone who is suppose to be my friend whom I've helped more than ever is turning into a backstabbing bitch. You and Asenia will work well together." Akeyana stormed out the house leaving Teania on the floor in tears. Adriana was standing at the top of the stairs as she slowly crept down and ran out the house.
Aria helped Teania off the floor and onto the couch. "You two ought to be ashamed of yourselves for arguing like this. You just finish getting ready and I'll go find Akeyana." Aria grabbed her sandals and was headed out the door. "Wait!" Teania cried. "What is it?" Aria asked panicky. "Don't bother looking for her. Obviously, we're not friends anymore so just let it go." Teania said angrily. "Well, what do you want me to do?" Aria asked helpfully. "Just go home and finish getting ready and I'll see you at the party when its time." Aria walked out the door and stopped, turned back and stared at Teania. She sighed and kept walking. "I hope things get back to normal."
Inside the village....
Adriana was trying to catch up to Akeyana who was walking really fast through the village. "Hey wait up Akeyana!!!" The little girl shouted tiredly. "You should get home Adriana." Akeyana said orderly. "But, I wanted to talk to you." Adriana said in a little soft voice. "Alright but, who sent you here?" She shook her head. "No one. I just came by myself because I agree with you." Akeyana was dismayed by this. "Why do you agree with me?" Akeyana asked questionably as the two girls walked together hand in hand. "Well, when Asenia attacked you at the palace, she wanted to kill you or else she wouldn't have pulled out the knife and threw it at the wrong person. I'm sure she hasn't changed her mind and the past isn't behind you just yet because she could attack you again." Akeyana was astounded by her intellectual theory. "Well, I couldn't agree with you more. I think maybe me and Teania should stay away from each other for a while. I wouldn't have gotten so angry if she didn't slap me." Akeyana growled. "Why don't you go see the Pharaoh?" Adriana referred. "Well, I'm sure he has his hands full right now since today is his birthday." Akeyana said sadly. "But, I'm sure he'll cheer you up." Akeyana thought about it and was finally convinced. "Alright then let's go." The two girls got all excited as they headed towards the palace. When they got there they took a shortcut through the thick papyrus and into the Garden.
Inside the Garden...
"Wow he looks sexy." Adriana drooled. "He does doesn't he." Akeyana agreed. The Pharaoh sat next to Priest Mahado drinking wine and chatting. The Pharaoh has been getting prepared for his celebration all this time and he just finished. "That man sitting next to him looks hot too." Adriana added. "I know, it must run in the family." The two girls laughed. "Let's get closer." Adriana said lively. "Alright but, we have to be very quiet." Akeyana warned. The two girls crawled as close as possible until they had a bird's eye view of the two handsome men. "Wow they are even sexier looking up close. Akeyana your so lucky." Adriana said fortunately. "Its not just luck its also love." Akeyana said happily.
"What's that smell?" Priest Mahado sniffed around. "I don't know but it smells really good." The Pharaoh said delightedly. "It does smell really good." Priest Mahado said interestedly. Akeyana and Adriana sniffed themselves and Akeyana began to notice that the Heavenly fumes were coming from her. "Akeyana you smell really good but, your attracting to much attention." Adriana alluded. "Let's get out of here before someone sees us." The girls nodded and began crawling out of harms way. "SCORPION!!!" Adriana yelled loudly and the girls crawled out of the bushes shaking themselves. "ITS IN YOUR HAIR AKEYANA!!! GET IT OUT OF YOUR HAIR!!!" Adriana was still screaming, and Akeyana was shaking her head around as much as possible but, the determined scorpion wouldn't let go.
The Pharaoh carefully pulled the poisonous beast out of her hair and threw it into an empty field. "Are you okay?" The Pharaoh laughed. Akeyana nodded. "It didn't sting you did it?" The Pharaoh asked cautiously. "No, I'm fine." Akeyana was trembling terribly. "Akeyana you smell really nice." The Pharaoh complemented. "Thanks." Adriana began dancing around in circles. "What's wrong with you?" Akeyana said as she tried to hold in her laughter. "I HAVE TO PEE!!!" Adriana pleaded. "I'll take you." Priest Mahado said kindly. He held the wild little girls hand and walked her to the bathroom. Akeyana and the Pharaoh stood laughing as they eyed each other. "You look different Akeyana." The Pharaoh said as he walked around her. "Well, it was suppose to be a disguise, so that I could come see you tonight." The Pharaoh pulled her closer to him. "Its a pretty damn good disguise because at first I didn't know who you were until Adriana said something." said the Pharaoh unexpectedly. "Do you like it or is it too much?" Akeyana said wishfully. "I love it. You look very beautiful." Akeyana smiled shyly. "Thanks."
"Hey guys we're back." Adriana shouted joyfully. "Alright then Adriana let's go." Akeyana said miserably. "Okay, bye-bye everybody." Adriana and Akeyana crawled back through the thick Papyrus and were back into town again.
Inside the Village...
"That was fun." Adriana said in enjoyment. "Yes it was. I seem to feel a little better now." Akeyana said blissfully. "I'm glad you do and I know you'll feel even more better when we get to the palace for the Pharaoh's birthday celebration." Akeyana hugged Adriana and then the two girls started walking into town. Nighttime was beginning to fall and it was time for the celebration to begin. Everyone was headed towards the palace but, Akeyana and Adriana had to run home and get their friends so that they could all enjoy this feast together. When they arrived at Aria's house. She was just heading out with her little baby and two sons. "Where have you been Adriana I was looking all over for you." Aria said worryingly.
"I was hanging with Akeyana, mommy and it was really fun." Adriana said pleasantly. "Is everything okay Aria?" Aria was still a little saddened by the fight that Teania and Akeyana had. "Can I talk to you for a minute Akeyana?" Aria asked gently. "Yeah, but let's walk and talk." Akeyana said hurryingly. "You kids go on and we'll catch up later." Adriana and her two brothers raced towards the palace while, Akeyana and Aria walked slowly. "Listen Akeyana, I know that you are still mad with Teania but, let's all just be friends again so it can be back to the way it was before." Aria said desirably. "No. If she wants to slap me just because I don't agree with her then maybe we shouldn't be friends." Akeyana protested. "But, I love both of you guys and I don't want you to fight like this." Aria said drearily. "I'm sorry Aria but, I warned her that Asenia is nothing but trouble and she won't listen. She is going to end up paying the price with her life." Akeyana said in a deep voice. Aria sighed as the two girls walked silently through the darkened streets headed towards the palace.
Asenia and Teania were just leaving and headed towards the palace together when Asenia suddenly backfired. "What's wrong Asenia?" Teania said confusingly. "You should've listened to Akeyana little girl. And now........YOU WILL DIE!!!" Asenia pulled out a dagger and stabbed Teania in the back. Teania lied on the ground unconscious but, not dead. "That's what you get." Asenia snickered as she wiped the blood off her knife and continued walking towards the palace. "This will be the end for all of you."
