Chapter 26: Home

I'm going home! Away from this lunatic with a name.

"Are you leaving me this weekend Katsuya?"

"YES!" I say as I put some clothes into an overnight bag. "Hope you and Marik have a fucking
good time while I'm gone."

"Of course. But it would be even better if you would stay."

"Nope. I'm going home to where it's calm, and peaceful, and away from you."

I zip the bag and grab my keys.

"Bye bye."

"I don't even get a good-bye kiss?"

"No. You don't. Tell Marik to give you one."

I shut the door and go to my car and drive to Domino City.

When I get home, I go to okaa-san's. We talk for a while before I leave for Kaiba Manor.

"Katsuya? Is that you?!" I hear Seto say before he runs to my car. "I'm so glad to see you!"

He's so jumpy.

"Are you that excited to see me Seto?"

"Of course!! Always!"

"I've never seen you with so much emotion before."

"All is for you!" he says as he kisses me.

Huh...he's not even speaking in complete thoughts. Is he hiding something?

"Seto, you seem nervous about something." I say as I grab my bag and follow him to his
bedroom.

"No. I'm not nervous. Just happy. Excited."

He opens the door and Kiyo grabs my legs.

"Katu!!"

"Hey Kiyo!" I say picking him up.

Wait...shouldn't have done that...

"You're getting heavy!"

"Daddy says I'm a big boy."

He wasn't lying.

I put him down and he runs to the bed and jumps on it.

"Kiyomaru." Seto says in his normal voice.

Kiyo hurries and jumps down and sits on the floor.

Guess Seto was just excited.

"I see you remembered." I say sitting on the floor next to Kiyo.

He smiles. "How was your week? I know we haven't talked much. We've been so busy with
school and work."

Did he get hit with a hyper beam? So full of energy.

"My week...it came and it went."

Yea, I got drunk and I ended up in a san-mono with Marik and Atemu.

"My week went great! The company just got its first American expansion."

"Really?"

"Yea. Thanks to Pegasus."

"How is he?"

"Went back to California yesterday. He's going to be at Kaiba Corp for me this weekend. I
have to go there Monday.."

"You're going to California?!"

"Yea. For a week. I'll be back the following Monday. I have so much to do with the new
company. Interviews, and lots of them will be the main focus. I'm looking to hire at least 200
people."

"Wow."

"Katu?"

"Yes, Kiyo?"

"If you and daddy get married, then what do I call you?"

Where does he get these questions?!

"You can still call me Katu." I tell him.

"Okaa-san told me that you two shouldn't even be together."

"Heh...Love has no bounds."

"But Ri said he wants to marry okaa-san. Would he be my daddy too?"

I look towards Seto who has a worried look on his face. Something about 'Ri' sparked his
interest and concern.

"Who is Ri?"

"My okaa-san lover. His name is Ma...ma..."

"Marik! Marik Ishtar!" I yell.

"Yea. That his name. Do you know him Katu?"

"I've heard the name once or twice." I say normally.

"He says he goes to school with you."

"He does..."

"Daddy?" Kiyo says reverting his attention to Seto.

"Yes Kiyo?"

"Ri says he doesn't like you. But I told him that I like you. He say that's only because you're my
daddy."

"Kiyo, I'll love you even if I wasn't your daddy."

So, Marik and Naoki are still together. It's hard to tell because of how much time he spends
with Atemu.

"I'm glad you're my daddy."

"I'm glad you're my son, Kiyo."

"Daddy? I want to go to the playground."

"Ok. We can go."

"Come on Katu! You're going to push me on the swing, then I'm going to push you!" he says as
he pulls my arms.

The three of us get up and put our shoes on before walking to Domino Park.

When we get there, the park is kind of empty except for the people walking the path.

Kiyo runs straight to the swings and gets on one. Seto goes to push him before he shakes his
head no.

"I want Katu to push me daddy!"

"Ok ok Kiyo." Seto says standing out the way. I walk behind him and push him gently.

"Hold on tight Kiyo!" I say.

"I'm holding Katu! Weeeeeee!!"

Seto sits on the swing next to Kiyo's and swings not too high as to instigate Kiyo to want to
go higher.

After Kiyo gets tired of swinging he goes to the slide and slides into the sandbox.

I sit on the swing Kiyo got out of and look at Seto who has a relaxed smile on his face. He seems
so at ease when he sees Kiyo being a kid. Having fun.

"I want my son to have everything I've never had growing up."

"You had everything Seto."

"My freedom."

"Huh?"

"I was never free. I was homeschooled until high school when dad put me into Domino Academy.
I was always forced to study. Even when Noa and Mokuba got a chance to do whatever they
wanted, dad would say that I was stupid and I need to study more. Even though I was smarter
than Noa, he didn't care. I never had a chance to be a kid. To run outside and play on the
slides, monkey-bars, and swings. I was forced to stay inside and study."

"Seto. He did that because he wanted a worthy heir to KaibaCorp."

"Thanks...for thinking I'm worthy."

"You are Seto. You're worthy of everything you have today. But you know what."

"What?"

"It's never to late to be a kid. You can still be free. Have fun with Kiyo."

He nods.

"So, I hate to end a happy moment Seto, but I was wandering, how do you know Marik?"

"He went to Domino Academy too. You remember when I said something about finding
Naoki in my bed with another man?"

"Yea."

"It was him."

I gasp. Marik is one hellraiser for me and Seto. He literally took Naoki from Seto and he's
teamed up with Atemu to give me hell in Kyoto.

"Katsuya, do you know him?"

"Unfortunately. I told you he was Atemu's fuck buddy."

"Yea, that's right. Is he giving you any trouble?"

"No. He just likes to get on my nerves."

"Just tell me and I'll take care of him."

"It's nothing like that. He just likes to come into my room with Atemu."

"Are you cheating on me with him?"

Yes.

"No. Never Seto. I love you too much to cheat. Even when my cock is rock hard I just
jack off!"

Liar. But I do jack off sometimes... So it's sort of the truth.

"I believe you Katsuya."

Phew.

"Seto, I heard he has a twin brother. Do you know him too?"

Why is he looking at me like that?

"Malik Ishtar. Yea. I know him. Didn't I tell you he was at Domino Academy?"

"You've never said anything about Malik before."

"In school he was the complete opposite of Marik. Quiet, shy, smart. Well, Marik was smart
too. He surprised everyone because of the way he acted."

"You're talking about Malik like you used to like him or something?"

He shakes his head. "Malik just brought some leverage to his wild twin brother. They have a
sister too, Ishizu. She was in a higher grade, so I never really met her."

"You know a lot about their family."

"Domino Academy isn't the biggest private school in the country Katsuya. Everyone knew
everyone. Even if you wasn't friends or associates with them. We only had 20 in our graduating
class."

"256 in mine."

"See what I mean."

Seto and I join Kiyo in the sandbox and we make sand castles and various other objects and
things.

Kiyo starts to yawn and literally fall asleep in the sandbox.

"Come on Kiyo. You've had a fun day today."

"I'm sleepy daddy." he says as he falls asleep on Seto's shoulder.

The three of us walk back towards the park exit, but we spot 2 people standing near the
entrance.

"Long time no see, Seto."

Who's at the exit?! Who could know Kaiba well enough to call him by his first name?! The next
chapter brings a lot of drama and...secrets...
