24: The Calm before the Storm
As I walked out of the conference room I went directly
to Fujiko and asked her to collect all the paperwork that we confiscated from
Big Five before I fired them, just in case this would happen, and so that they
wouldn’t have the chance of getting rid of those as evidence.
The twit and his friends will surely get arrested as
well, but if it were up to me, I would gladly send them to jail. Then I left
the building and got into the limousine and went home, as I promised Mokuba.
And as I entered the Kaiba mansion I could hear Mokuba
run down the stairs “Nii-sama! Welcome home!” He said as he saw me and hides
behind me. I gave him a questioning look “We’re playing hide-and-seek and
Ryou’s it!”
Then we both heard Ryou come down the stairs and he
beamed at me and quickly noticing Mokuba standing behind me “Welcome home
Seto-san, have you by chance seen Mokuba around? We’re playing hide-and-seek
and I’m it” He said with a mischievous smile.
“Well if I told you wouldn’t that be cheating?”
Ryou hummed “Well that might be true, okay I’ll go and
look for him somewhere else” he said and went just around the corner to await
for Mokuba to come out of his hiding place.
“Thanks nii-sama” Mokuba said as he sprint
away and didn’t see Ryou, who two seconds later grabbed him.
“Found you!” and then he let go of him.
“So, who was the new C.E.O. of Industrial Illusion?”
Mokuba asked.
I told them everything that had happened before,
during and after the meeting.
Ryou shifted his footing a bit “So…” He then looked
into my eyes “What are we expecting?”
“That within this week the cops will come and take us
all in, I think they will include your friends since they were at

I said and saw Ryou shocked look.
“How… How will we explain Bakura and Mou Hitori no
Yugi for the cops?! They would only believe that Yugi and I are psychotic!!”
Ryou burst out.
“If everything goes as I think it will… we will not
have to tell them anything about Bakura, Mou Hitori no Yugi, the Millennium
Items or the Shadow Realm” Ryou nodded unsecured “Don’t worry Ryou, I will come
up with something”
