Shadow Yami {Completed}

hey folks another update with a new chapter, heheh im working on this and posting them as soon as each chapter i done lol enjoy peeps

Yugi shifted in his sleep uncomfortable, he had pains in his stomach which were proving to be a nuisance he sat up suddenly and shot into the bathroom throwing up. Yami rubbed his eyes waking up having felt the bed move suddenly when Yugi had got up, his ears pricked up hearing Yugi in the bathroom and got out of bed walking over, “Aibou? Are you alright?” Yami called knocking on the door “No I feel sick,” Yugi replied from behind the door. Yami thought for a moment before opening the door and peered round his eyes falling on Yugi who was sat on the floor holding his stomach looking pale. Yugi looked up and smiled weakly at Yami then tried getting up he yelped in pain as he held his stomach wincing when he finally was stood up again. Yami’s eyes gazed down to see a small puddle of water forming underneath Yugi and seeing the trickles down his legs. It took only 2 seconds for it to hit Yami and it hit hard his eyes widened as he ran forward scooping Yugi up into his arms hurrying out the bathroom, he grabbed Yugi’s bathrobe and slung on his own fur jacket having realised he’d fallen asleep leaving his trousers on. Yugi found himself in more pain and back in Yami’s arms again as he was carried quickly down the stairs and outside.

The journey to the hospital which would have normally taken 7 minutes was done in fewer than 2; Yami burst through the hospital doors with a whimpering Yugi who had tears in his eyes from the pain. After a very quick explanation, Yami was following a few doctors down the corridors towards a delivery room speaking soft words to Yugi saying he’d be alright and that he was here with him. The door of the delivery room opened and Yami walked inside setting Yugi back on his feet, a few nurses prepared themselves to carry out the delivery while another nurse went to fetch a doctor. Yami stood behind a screen and undressed Yugi from the bathrobe and helped him put on a gown, he held his hand as he hoisted him onto the delivery table and lowered to Yugi’s level holding both his hands with his “You’ll be alright Aibou,” he spoke softly “It hurts Yami, it really hurts I don’t think I will be able to do this,” Yugi spoke his eyes filled with tears. Yami felt a pang in his heart he couldn’t bare to see Yugi in such pain but he knew this was normal this was what was supposed to happen “Aibou you can do this,” he smiled and kissed his forehead “Your very brave and I know that because you saved me from Cassan even though you were hit too,” Yugi nodded remembering when he’d jumped onto Cassan’s back pulling and tugging to get Cassan to give Yami time to get back up, he gave another cry of pain as he felt another contraction.

The doctor walked in putting on a pair of rubber gloves, Yami carefully spread Yugi’s legs lifting them up so the birthing would be easier then let the doctor take control of things while he held Yugi’s hands giving him support. The doctor smiled “Yami and Yugi Motou I take it,” Yami looked up and nodded “Yes,” The doctor’s smile grew “Okay now Yugi I’m gonna find out how far the baby is before you can start pushing, this will feel a little uncomfortable on your part but its normal procedure,” Yugi nodded “Okay,”. The doctor knelt down slightly and gently pressed a rubber finger into Yugi easing further in till he found the baby’s head “Okay I’ve found the baby’s head Yugi but it needs to shift further down first until you can start pushing, you’ll have to wait another few minutes before I check again,” Yugi nodded and tried to relax but the pain was really starting to become unbearable. Yami watched the doctor remove the rubber gloves and put on a clean pair for hygiene reasons, he felt Yugi’s hands grip his tighter and he turned his gaze back onto Yugi.

“I can’t do this anymore…” wailed Yugi, the doctor had done another check and had told him he could start pushing. Yami stood holding Yugi’s hands “You can do it Aibou I know you can,” Tears fell from Yugi’s eyes as he took deep breaths and pushed harder the pain only increasing as he was stretched on the inside a little as the baby was pushed further down. Yami winced his hands felt like they were being crushed as he moved his hands from Yugi’s and leaned over hugging him speaking softly in his ear “Hold onto me aibou, if the pain increases just hold tighter,” Yugi nodded wrapping his arms round Yami and crying out in pain as he pushed harder. The doctor stood ready telling Yugi you keep pushing, they could see the top of the head “It’s alright Yugi once the head is through it’ll be a lot easier,” Yugi nodded and held tighter onto Yami with a death grip pushing as harder as he could. Yami’s ears pricked up hearing small wails and looked to Yugi, “You hear that it’s our baby, your doing great,” Yugi smiled up at Yami then gave another hard push. “You’re there Yugi,” the doctor said helping ease the baby out the last little bit, Yugi gasped for breath as he felt the pain ease and the baby finally out of him. Tears of joy filled both his and Yami’s eyes as they listened to their baby’s crying; Yugi released Yami from his grip panting hard and felt exhausted. The doctor looked up after tying off the umbilical cord “Yami would you like to do the honours?” Yami looked up and smiled nodding then moved over and cut the cord, the smile grew wider as his eyes fell upon his and Yugi’s new baby girl Jasmine.

“She’s so beautiful,” Yugi spoke; he was now lying in one of the hospital beds having been moved then after he’d fallen asleep from exhaustion. Yami smiled nodding “She certainly is,” he kissed Yugi’s cheek “Just like you my aibou,” Yugi blushed and smiled looking down at their baby girl that was cradled in his arms looking up at them with glistening amethyst eyes. Yami wrapped an arm round Yugi’s shoulder resting his head against his, he never felt so happy and he felt warm pride flowing through him; back in Egypt he would have never had any of this, friends, a loving husband and now a beautiful daughter “Our little Jasmine,” he whispered softly closing his eyes enjoying the moment.

Two days later little Jasmine came home with Yugi; Yami had sorted out the finishing touches to the nursery and had informed everyone except Tea about the new arrival. “I can’t wait to see Jasmine I bet she looks so cute,” Joey said looking towards his dragon, Seto looked back at him “I’m sure Yami and Yugi are really happy now that they have a family of their own,” Serenity nodded “May I join you when you come here to babysit Jasmine Joey when Yami and Yugi want to go out and need someone to look after Jasmine?” “Course ya can sis,” he grinned “You’d probably do a better job than me,” Serenity giggled and sat down between Duke and Tristan. The front door opened as Yami walked through holding the door while Yugi walked inside carrying Jasmine and walked into the living room, his jaw dropped open as he saw all his friends there welcoming him home and congratulating the new arrival. Jasmine giggled happily getting a number of ‘she’s so cute’ and ‘awws’ Yugi smiled tears coming to his eyes he looked round to see Yami talking to Seto both had a smile on their face; Yugi sighed happily watching Yami the one man who had helped bring their little miracle into the world.
