The room was crowded with friends as everyone settled down. Yugi was a month away from giving birth and now he was receiving the baby shower from his friends. Yami was stood in the kitchen preparing snacks and drinks for everyone, Yugi had whined him to wear the apron again and so to keep his aibou happy Yami had given in and was now stood wearing it. Seto walked in “Need any help Yami?” he asked politely, he couldn’t help but snigger a little when Yami turned round to face him and the apron he was wearing could now be seen “I take it Yugi as ked to wear that then?” Yami’s ears flattened “Yes he did ask me to wear it and no thank you Seto I’m almost finished,” Seto nodded still sniggering and left the kitchen as Yami set the food onto the table along with knives and forks and plates.

Yugi sat in the living room surrounded by his friends and their gifts for the new arrival. Joey, Tristan, Duke, Mai, Mokuba, Seto, Solomon and even Serenity were sat talking happily. Tea was the only one who wasn’t there and Yugi felt glad of that, he didn’t want her around since what she did to Yami. Joey looked up to see Seto walking back into the living room “Is he done yet?” he asked clearly referring to Yami, Seto nodded and sat down beside his puppy. Yugi smiled brightly as Yami walked into the living room; he’d hung the apron back up so no-one else would know he’d been asked to wear it, he sat down beside Yugi who immediately hopped onto his lap snuggling against him. “So...” said Joey once everyone had settled down again “How about the opening of the gifts then?” everyone nodded in agreement.

Yugi smiled opening the first of the gifts, it was from Serenity and she had bought a medium sized soft teddy bear, “I wanted to find a soft one for Jasmine could cuddle into when she was sleeping,” Yugi smiled running his fingers over the bears ears “I think its lovely thank you Serenity,”. After several minutes several more gifts had been opened revealing their contents. Joey and Seto had together bought a mobile with cute versions of some duel monsters Kuriboh being one of them. Tristan had bought a little princess gym that play music with a matching play mat. Duke had bought various rattlers and dummies along with a couple of bibs, Yugi giggled seeing one bib saying ‘daddies little girl’. Mai had bought little clips and hair bands for Jasmine when her hair had grown and was longer. Yami smiled watching Yugi opening the present Solomon had got, it was fairly flat but it revealed to be a baby carrier that was strapped round the front or back of the parent, it was a lilac colour “Sorry I couldn’t find a pink one,” he said, Yami looked up smiling “Lilac is just fine, can’t have pink all the time,” Solomon nodded smiling. Mokuba’s present was the last to be opened; Yugi carefully tore away the wrapping paper and smiled at the Disney Princess night light and torch.

Yugi looked up smiling brightly “Thank you guys, these are all wonderful gifts and I’m sure Jasmine will love them all,” he looked round to Yami “Yami…” Yami looked back at him “Yes Aibou?” Yugi grinned “Put that apron on again,” Yami sighed as everyone started laughing at the cute look Yugi was giving. For the rest of the evening they spent playing a few games and talking about future plans. “She slapped you?” Mai asked Yami, the subject of Tea had been brought up. Yami nodded “Yes, three times,” Yugi cringed “I still feel sorry Yami,” Yami smiled “Aibou I have told you many times now it was not your fault, besides,” he gave Yugi a fond nuzzle to the neck “I’d choose you over Tea in any life,”. The room was suddenly filled by a chorus of ‘awws’ from Yami’s statement, Yugi suddenly threw his arms round Yami “I love you so much Yami and never regretted confessing my love to you,” Yami sat purring happily his head resting against Yugi’s cuddling him close.

Tea watched from behind the cast iron rails through a pair of binoculars “Choose over me huh? We’ll see about that Yami, if I can’t have you love with will I’ll force you to love me,” she turned and stalked away fists clenched gritting her teeth in anger. Both Yami and Yugi stood smiling and waving as the guests left the mansion making their way back home, Joey stayed behind for a moment distracting Yugi for a moment while Seto spoke to Yami privately “What will you do if Tea comes after you?” he whispered, “Give her a piece of my mind, she can take me but she’ll never take away my love for Yugi,” Yami replied back quietly “And if se dares to try and harm Yugi or Jasmine then there is going to be hell to pay,” Seto nodded “Okay but be cautious Tea is not one to give up on getting what she wants and know that me and Joey are right beside you whenever you need us.” Yami smiled “Thanks Seto I appreciate that,” Seto smiled back and both CEO’s shook hands.
