Reincarnated Lover
The Nightmare!
Another exciting chapter is on the way! I would like to say thanks to all readers
and reviewers of this story. As we left off...Yami was talking to Dream Clown
about his lover from 5000 years ago. Of course, Yami doesn't have a clue
to who he is since he just recently gained his memories back. Ok, now it's time
for Chapter 22 and a feature POV of Yami. The misspelling is on purpose to
show how cold Yugi is.
Chapter 22: Reincarnated Lover
(Shadow Realm) *Dream Clown's POV*
Why didn't I see it earlier? How careless of me to forget the one I was in
love with so long ago. He hasn't changed that much. I guess he fooled me by
the clothes he wears and the way he acts. He wasn't like that before. He was
one of Pharoah's guards, best friends, and of course, his lover. How could I
have let him escape me then? I dare not to make the same mistake twice!
-Flashback-
*Kat and Pharoah look like they're having a great time together. I wish I could
join their picnic and have Kat feed me exotic foods. You are so lucky to be with
him Pharoah.
'How about another strawberry koi?' I hear Kat ask him.
I look to see Pharoah lean his head back and open his mouth. Kat slowly traces
Pharoah's lips and his neck with the berry. I could hear moans from Pharoah
as the cool berry teases his sensitive skin. Pharoah licks his lips and Kat places
the berry his tongue. Pharoah licked the berry and then took a small bite
of it. Kat bit the opposite end of the berry and held it gently in his teeth, then
moved closer to Pharoah until their lips locked together.

That should have been me! I should have been the one to eat that strawberry
with him!
"Not you Pharoah!" I yell to him.
"'What are you talking about now?'" Pharoah replies.
But why am I worried about Pharoah now? He seems to be hooked on the priest
now. I will just have to get rid of him too.
(Yugi's Bathroom) *Yugi's POV*
Cold...sooo....cooollddd. III wish they wooould stop dippping meememe inn that
dammmnn waaterrr.
"Yugi? Are you ok?" Malik asks me.
"Dooo it look like I'mm okkkay??" I ask shivering.
The towel I have wrapped around me is soaked.
"Nnneedd anoother toowwweel." I say throwing that one on Ryou.
"Yugi! That's cold! I'm not the one who needs to stay up! It's you!" He yells
throwing the towel on the floor.
"Kkeeep thhiiss uppp and youuu are goooinggg to haavve a siccck Yuuugi tooo
worry abbout!" I reply to him, wrapping tighter into Malik.
Jou hands me another towel. Ahh...that feels better.
"Ryou? Have you heard those weird voices lately?" Malik asks him.
"No, I haven't. Have you?" He replies.
Malik just shakes his head and looks down at me.
"What voices?" I ask them.
"Well, I was hearing a voice telling me to find him. To remember him. It
sounds so familar, but I haven't been able to put the face with the voice."
Malik replies.
"Same here." Ryou adds.
"Maybe it was your yami." I say to them.
I feel like I'm under a sleep spell.e bee been very sleepy since Yami was
taken away.
(Shadow Realm) *Yami's POV*
Don't go to sleep aibou! Arigatou, minna-san. For taking care of Yugi. I must
repay you all when I get back home.
"And why is Yugi fighing the spell Yami?" I look up to see Anzu looking
evilly at me.
"'What spell?'" I ask, horrified of what they could have done to him.
"It comes with Spirit Capture. After the spirits are captured, a spell is placed
on the hikari that causes them to fall into a deep sleep. And then, that's when
I strike and erase their memories!"
"'Why Anzu? Why do you despise us so much?'"
"I hate seeing you all with other guys... It makes me sick to my stomach! Yami,
if you had any sense, then you would be with me, Jou would be with Mai, and
Honda with Shizuka. Let Kaiba suffer alone for all the shit he's put us
through. Same thing goes for Bakura and Malik!"
What the hell is wrong with her? Does she know that there's a difference in
MaLik and MaRik? Dumb bitch.
"Step aside Anzu. I have something to discuss with Pharoah." Dream Clown
says to her. Anzu walks away and takes the Ring and Rod with her, so that
there would be no eavesdroppers.
Hmm...now would be a great time to integrate with Kaiba! I hope I do this
ritual right!
(Yugi's Bathroom) *Reader's POV*
Everyone is laughing and talking about what they did on the cruise until
suddenly...Kaiba becomes a 'zombie' once again.
"Eyaah! That's the same way he was earlier!" Jou yells, dodging behind
Honda.
(Shadow Realm)
"'So, what made you come to see me this time Dream Clown?'"
(Bathroom)
"Dream Clown?" Everyone says at the same time.
(Shadow Realm)
"Pharoah, my Pharoah, have you figured out who your past lover was? The one
on whom I've desired for over 5000 years?! The one who I deserve to love?
I will get him. He's easy prey for me."
'"Who is this lover of yours? Who was the one that lit my candle?'"
"How could you not remember Kat? Dumb me should have just looked at the
names...Kat and Katsuya Jounouchi."
Yami looks in awe of how he could have been lovers with his aibou's best friend.
"'Kat..suya?! No way!'"
(Bathroom)
Everyone looks at Jou.
"What about me? What about Katsuya?" Jou asks in shock of his name actually
being bought up.
(Shadow Realm)
"'Jounouchi-kun was not my lover! I won't believe it for a minute! He didn't
even exist during that time."
"Tsk, tsk, tsk. Shame on you Pharoah to forget your past lover so quickly. I
didn't. I could never forget someone who was so masculine, so handsome, so
worth my time. It was worth me being baed hed here, because I know that
one day, I will get what I want!"
"'You'll never get him! Kat and Katsuya are people from two completely
different eras of time!'"
"Ever head of a reincarnation?"
"'You mean...Jou's the reincarnation of Kat?'"
Dream Clown nods his head.
(Bathroom)
Kaiba's body falls limp as the integration is over. Everyone is in awe of
what they had just heard. Minutes later, Kaiba wakes up.
"Mmmm, my head. Why is everyone so quiet?" He asks. "Is Yugi still up?"
"Yea...I am." Yugi says quietly.
Kaiba looks at Jou, who looks like he had just seen a ghost.
"Seto, it happened again." Kaiba looked at Jou confused at his words. "Yami
came into your body again."
"What did he say?" Kaiba asked.
"I was his past...lover. Or for better terms, the reincarnation of his lover,
Kat. Dream Clown is after me and Yami because he was jealous of us being
together. Even today, 5000 years later. He wants to come after you, Seto."
Kaiba took hold of Jou's hands and shook his head.
"Katsuya, there's no one on this Earth, or Shadow Realm, that will ever
take you away from me."
Jou nodded in agreement, but he still had the puppy-dog look planted on his
face.
"Cheer up pup. I'm sure those three spirits will think of something."
Ryou looked out the window to see that the sun was coming up.
"Morning." He said. "Yugi, are you ok?"
"I'm fine. Just a little cold, but fine." Yugi replies.
"You know what. There may be a way we can get to the Shadow Realm
without the help of Yami." Ryou says.
"How? I mean, haven't you forgotten about the Shadow Realm and the
spirits?" Honda says to him.
"For a brief moment, I had someone talk to me and tell me to 'Use Yugi to
find us.' I don't know what it means...but let's give it a shot anyways." Ryou
replies to Honda's question.
"If he hasn't forgotten about Yami, then something should be able to work,
right?" suggests Jou.
(Shadow Realm) *Yami's POV*
Kat...suya? A reincarnation? Could that be true? It has to be. Just as
Kaiba is the carncarnation of the priest, Seth, Jou could very well be
the reincarnation of my lover, Kat.
Huh...what is this I'm hearing? There's no one around me? It sounds like...
Ryou! How can I hear him? He's still in the bathroom with the others. It
sounds like he has a plan. Of course! Since Yugi hasn't had his memories
erased, there has to sill be a way that we can connect to each other and
for him to help me open the gates to the Shadow Realm!
