White Rose

~Next Day~

Teania opened up the shades and let the fresh morning air into the house. Teania and Aria got a large cart and put 5 big buckets of water into the cart and rolled it to the Nile to get water. As they were walking Yochiko saw them come out of Akeyana's house. She ran over to the two girls and stopped right in front of them "Who are you and what are you doing inside Akeyana's house?" The girls rested the heavy cart onto the ground. "Akeyana is at home. We are her friends. We just returned yesterday." Yochiko gasped loudly as a tear rolled down her eye. "Akeyana is really here?" The two girls nodded. "You can go see her if you want. I'm sure she should be woke by now." Yochiko dropped her pale and ran as fast as she could to Akeyana's house.

When she got there she banged on the door as hard as she could. The elderly woman ran to the door and opened it up. "Hello ma'am is Akeyana here?" The elderly woman thought it was something serious. "Yes, I believe she is upstairs in her room asleep." Yochiko ran into the house and up the stairs. She kicked Akeyana's door open and she was no where to be found. Yochiko left the room and searched the house. When she got to the bathroom she opened the door and looked down only to find Akeyana's motionless body lying on the floor just barely breathing. Yochiko broke into a pool of tears screaming to the top of her lungs. The elderly woman ran upstairs and into the bathroom. Some neighbors came inside the house trying to find out where the screaming was coming from.

When they all looked into the bathroom they saw Akeyana lying on the floor. Timeaus and Helmos lifted her up and carried her downstairs. They couldn't figure out what happen. She had a bruise on her forehead and the blood was still rushing down her head. Yochiko got a cold cloth and began cleaning up the blood. The elderly woman sent Aria's older daughter out to retrieve some herbs to make her medicine. Yochiko sat by her side crying her eyes out. Teania and Aria returned with the cart full of water. "What happened to Akeyana?" The two girls said as they set the cart down and ran over to Akeyana. "She was found on the floor in the bathroom." Yochiko said. "When did this happen?" Yochiko shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know, we just found her a few minutes ago." Teania put her hand on Akeyana's forehead and it felt really really cold. Almost like she was in a freezer.

Aria began heating up some hot water, while Timaeus and Helmos cleared the house of all the very concerned neighbors. They all stood by waiting frustrated and confused. "Aria, your daughter has gone to the market for me to retrieve some herbs that I need. Aria was okay with it since she knew her daughter was more trustworthy than her two boys. They all sat down waiting patiently until the little girl returned. Aria decided to make some food to cheer up all of her weary guests.

In the Village...

Aria's daughter Adriana went and collected everything and was heading towards home. When she looked up at the palace she couldn't help but get closer and get a better view of the shiny golden palace. She managed to make her way through the crowded village avoiding all the strange people. She saw two people arguing, two men drinking, another man sleeping, a woman was cleaning, children were playing, and it was lihe whe was right at home.

Inside the Garden...

She ran behind a thick papyrus to see the Pharaoh's garden. She saw 4 beautiful ladies dipping their feet inside the cool waters, chatting and laughing about the sexy Pharaoh. "I love these pretty White Roses." One woman said. "Yeah they are lovely. I heard they can cure anything." Another woman replied. Suddenly it clicked inside of Adriana's head. She had to get one of those White Roses and maybe it will help Akeyana. Adriana set her bag of herbs down and slowly and quietly crawled over to the White Roses.

The Pharaoh came out into the garden and started chatting with the ladies. "Shit." Adriana said nervously as she continued to make her way over to the White Roses. The ladies began pampering the handsome Pharaoh, which he seemed to always enjoy. Adriana finally made it to the White Roses. She grabbed it as fast as she could not knowing that there were pricks on the stem of the White Rose. "AHHHH." She yelled loudly. The woman backed away from the Papyrus. The Pharaoh stood up and walked over to the thick papyrus spreading it apart only to find a teary eyed little girl holding her bloody finger. The Pharaoh lifted the little girl up and pulled her out the papyrus. "What's wrong?" She showed him her bloody finger and his servants gladly led her into the palace to heal her little wound.

"What's your name little girl?" Adriana looked at her wounded finger. "My name's Adriana." The woman led her back to the garden were the Pharaoh was. "Where did you come from?" Adriana was barely paying any attention as she looked around the lovely garden. "I was at the market getting some herbs for the medicine woman so that she can help Akeyana." The woman stopped in front of Adriana. "How did you get into the Palace?" Adriana knew for sure that she was in trouble. "I slipped in through the gate." They continued walking to the garden. When they finally got there, the little girl stood in front of the Pharaoh holding her head down.

The Pharaoh waved his hand and the servants left the garden. "What's your name little girl?" The Pharaoh knelt down in front of her, staring into her eyes. "My name is Adriana." She began to blush. "Nice to meet you Adriana." She shook his hand. "Before you get mad at me I was just coming here to help Akeyana get better." The Pharaoh sat down on the grass. "What's wrong with Akeyana?" Adriana sat down next to him. "I heard she was lying on the floor in the bathroom with a big bruise on her head." The Pharaoh rubbed his eyes. "Is Akeyana your girlfriend? because if she is she should be in the palace with you." The Pharaoh laughed. "No, no, she close just a really close friend of mine."

Adriana rolled her eyes. "Yeah, whatever. My mommy said she saw you two by the Nile kissing." The Pharaoh lied on the grass still laughing. "Yes but that is what adults do when they're in love." Adriana was sniffing the refreshing fragrance of the different flowers. "What else do adults do when they're in love?" The Pharaoh picked a pink Lily and handed it to Adriana. "Well, they give each other gifts, love, respect, time, honesty, kindness, caring, compassion for one another, and many other things like that." Adriana put the pink lily in her hair, letting its long petals cover decorate her small head. "Wow, that's a lot of love. But what about love making?" The Pharaoh shook his head as he stared at the pack of mg clg clouds. "You'll learn when you get older." Adriana smacked her lips. "That sucks but oh well. Could I ask you something?" The Pharaoh nodded. "How could someone as sexy as you are not already have a queen by his side?"

The Pharaoh went into a laughing frenzy for about five minutes and then he answered her question. "Its not as easy as you think. I do have all the power but, there are disadvantages to that." The Pharaoh took off his top and threw it off to the side. "What do you like about Akeyana?" Adriana was busy making two flower crowns for her mom and Akeyana. Trying to block the nasty thoughts of the Pharaoh out of her mind. "She is very sweet and kind. She is easy to talk to and we just have a lot in common, making us good friends." Adriana picked some pink lily's for her mother and some White Roses for Akeyana. "If you love Akeyana than why did you have her beaten for something she did not do?" The Pharaoh sat up and put his arm around her shoulder. "It was not my intention but, I had to and I think Akeyana understands that now."

The Pharaoh patted her on the head. He then stood up and reached out his hand to Aria. She grabbed her bag of herbs and her two flower crowns, then took the Pharaoh's hand. "How about I give you this pretty pearl necklace, for being so kind to me." He handed her the necklace and she sniffed the beads and played around with them. "Thank you." The Pharaoh led her into the palace and called one of his servants over. "Your quite welcome, I hope I'll be able to see you again." Adriana winked as she waved goodbye to the ever so kind Pharaoh. Then her and his servant left the palace.

Inside Akeyana's House...

Adriana returned home and everyone was sitting in the living room waiting for her. The servant entered the house, gave Adriana a hug, bowed, and walked away. "Where the Hell have you been?" said Aria furiously. Adriana sat down in the chair and rested her feet. "I was inside the palace talking to the Pharaoh." Everyone looked at her suspiciously. "What were you doing over by the palace anyway?" Adriana handed the bag of herbs to the elderly woman. "At first I wanted to take a look in the garden but then, I heard two women talking and they said that the White Rose could cure anything. I decided to pick one hoping that it could help Akeyana. Plus, I got all these neat gifts too."

Aria hugged her daughter and held her in her arms. "Thank you for helping, Adriana, I was just really worried about you." Aria gave her daughter a kiss on the cheek then she handed her mother the pink Lily flower crown. "Thank you Adriana this is lovely." Aria placed the flower crown on her head. Adriana hugged her mother again, then she ran upstairs and set the White Rose crown on the table in Akeyana's room. She wrote a little note that said. "From: Pharaoh Yami, To: Akeyana." Then she left the room and went outside to play with her brothers.

Aria went into the kitchen and sat down at the table watching the elderly woman prepare the medicine. "Even though I didn't request that your daughter acquire the White Rose, it still may be of some use to me." The elderly woman mixed quickly and placed her results in a little cup. "I believe that after Akeyana takes a sip of this she should awaken from her slumber." The elderly woman slowly walked into the living room so as not to spill the medicine. Timaeus lifted Akeyana up and opened her mouth so that she can take the medicine. The elderly woman poured all of the medicine into her mouth and making sure it all went down into her system.

"Would you one of you gentlemen kindly return Akeyana to her room so that she may rest? Teania has taken the liberty of washing her sheets and putting on fresh new ones." Timaeus lifted Akeyana off her feet and up the stairs. As he was carrying her up, he watched her slowly and steadily breathing in and out. She looked like an Angel when she asleep, Timaeus thought to himself. He gently lied her down on the bed and opened up the window to let some air inside. As Timaeus was walking out the room, he stopped and turned back to look at Akeyana again. He walked over to her and placed his lips onto hers. He released his lips and smiled at her. Then he left the room closing the door behind him.
