Chapter 21 - Saying Good Bye to Good Friends and a True Love
Sakura's P.O.V
Seto stared at me. I didn't want to leave him but had to. I was angry with the child services. The worst part was I was going to America.
"I came to tell you something."
Mai: And…who might this be speaking?
Jou: That guy right over there… *points to a random hobo*
Kaiba: >_> fuck you.
"What is it?" I sat down on the bed and pulled my knees up to my chest.
"I don't want you to go. I'm going to find a way to keep you here." He told me with a sound of pride in his voice.
"Seto, I know you're going to try this. Just do me a favor, if it doesn't work, find someone else to date. I love you too much for you to sufer." I told him my heart breaking with every word I spoke.
Kaiba: SWEET-THE-FUCK-AS!!! *fills out an application form to enter The Bachelor**
Lori: *fills out an application to be a contestant on The Bachelor.*
Phantom: Ugh, as if someone would *actually* say that -__- “I’m leaving so you can go and casually screw someone else, now. Sayonara!”

'Why wasn't he getting it?' I thought, "If you find someone else, you'll forget about me. I don't know if I'll ever come back."
"I could never love another," he pulled me close, "Now. We'll find a way around this." He smirked and kissed me on the lips. I kissed back, feeling light headed. When we parted I began to cry again. Knowing I would never share another kiss with him.

Love...what is love? Is it just another fable of lies that twists itself and causes pain? Or was love something that could never be slain and taken away from the holders? Love? Love is a mystery I can not comprehend. I knew from the moment my eyes laid their gaze on Seto the first time I was in love. I couldn't deny it. Ryou. He was just a crush, a simple school girl crush that was defeated by true selfless love.
Phantom: Okay, what are you now? A lecturer?
Otogi: A college professor?

My thoughts left me feeling unsure of anything. Love...I was...am in love with Seto. I just didn't want to leave him. His hopes were fruitless, for in the end, I will be going to America.
Phantom: -.- I think Kaiba, being the world’s most loaded teenager, could pay “Child Services” an undeniable amount of money to keep her in Japan if he wanted, don’t you?
Malik: Obviously she didn’t think of that and just decided to make up a quick, boring ending.
Lori: Pretty much. *finishes sewing her 100101st Sakura voodoo doll* ^__^
"Sakura we'll find a way."
"I can only hope. I got to get some more packing done. We can talk later," I sat up and showed him to the door, "I'll be down for dinner later. Ok?" I moaned as he left. I wanted him to be happy and that wasn't going to be with me.
I slumped against the wall as tears fell. 'Why? Why, when everything is just starting to work out for me, why does something bad always happen to destroy it?' I sobbed harder.
Half an hour later the dinner bell rang. I entered the kitchen holding in all of my composure.
Kaiba: Dinner bell? e_e I’m not *that* eccentric.
Lori: No, you aren’t… this is not summer camp, sweetheart.
"Hey Sakura." Mokuba said depressingly.
"Don't be upset Mokuba. It'll be ok. I'm still here for another couple of days," I tried to put on my best smile and sat down next to Seto.
The few days I had left went by in a heart beat. Soon I only had one more day with everyone. Seto took me, Yugi, Subaru, Joey, Mokuba, Kari, Rebecca, even Tea and Tristan out for dinner.
I put my hair up in two buns that had red ribbons in them. I put on a black top that tied around the neck. It had a triangle shape in the middle showing my belly. I put on a long black skirt that curved to a right angle and had red beads hanging off it. I put on silver eye shadow and pink lip gloss. I wore simple black thong high heels.
Bakura: Ummm…yeah. We really don’t care.
Phantom: You’re trying to reach the height of the story and suddenly it plummets with her babbling on about what she’s wearing, AGAIN -.-;;;;;
Lori: Just like EVERY other chapter. -_____-
Malik: O, the great anticlimax.

As I headed down the stairs toward Seto who wore an elegant black silk top and black dress pants, led me to the limo.
"You look beautiful," he told me. I blushed and saw everyone else dressed up so wonderfully.
Dinner went by slowly. We arrived at the mansion around midnight. We dropped everyone off as I said my final fair wells to them. They each gave me a gift along with a fair well hug and statement.
Yugi gave me a lot of great cards and said, "I wish I could have dueled you."
Lori:..........................He wishes he could've DUELED her?! Oh, it's not "I'll miss you!" or "You were a great friend!" it's "I wish I could've fucking mother sucking cock slurping son of a whore DUELED you!"
Tea handed me a small black and red book that had my name on it in silver, "Write all your thoughts in this and all our email adresses are in the cover. Be sure to email."

"Sakura I wish I had more time with you. I don't what I'll do. I tried to find a way to keep you here. Please, just one last thing before you go?" He said once we sat in my now empty room. My suitcases lay across the room.

I awoke around ten and realized my flight was leaving at noon.

I pulled my hair into a french braid and found Seto already dressed. His eyes glimmered with sadness I had never seen in them before. My eyes sparkled with the same sadness.

"Let's get you to the air port soon. It's almost 11:30." Seto picked up my bags and I followed him to the limo.
In the airport I waited for my plane.
Phantom: No, REALLY? You don’t SAY!!
"Flight 17 to Calafornia boarding now," the intercom boomed.
Lori: “California” -.-
Seto stood in line with me. When I was at the front of the line I spoke to Seto.
"Remember, I will always love you."

Honda: Umm… I thought she said that SHE was speaking to KAIBA, not the other way around?

I remembered as I boarded that plane. I kept thinking I wanted to jump off and run into his arms. I knew it was futile though. I closed my eyes as clear tears fell down my face. I watched as he chased the plane all the way to the end of the airport. I cried one final tear and turned away but before I did I blew him a final kiss.
Mai: So suddenly she has clear tears, now? e_e
