support up because you all inspire me to write! We're at the Elite Eight and Final Four of WIT. What surprises
await us in this chapter? You'd just have to read on to see!

Chapter 20: WIT - Part Two

"Congratulations to our Elite Eight duelists! Duel fans, return back here tomorrow morning at 8am for the
beginning of the Elite Eight and then the Final Four!"

I'm glad those first three rounds are over with. My last two duels were a hell of a lot easier than my first
duel. But now the advantage is mine! Finally, the 8000 LP system! I should be able to breeze through the
Elite Eight and Final Four.

I catch up with my parents and go home. When I walk into my room, my phone rings.

"Moshi moshi."

"Omedetou, Yugi!"

"Atemu! I'm glad to hear from you! Wait, let me call you back, I don't want your minutes to run out."

"Oh, it's ok. I just called to tell you congratulations. I saw your duels! They were awesome!"

"Did you see the special last night? They did this little segment about you."

"Really? We don't get KC Network here in Egypt."

"When it shows again, I'll be sure to record it."

"Arigatou! I wished I was there to see Dartz McKinnon! He was the one who inspired me to get into the
game of Duel Monsters."

"Really? You were only 7 years old then."

"I know. Well, I got to go now. I have about 65 minutes left, and I'll call you to talk them up later ok.
Hopefully I will be able to return to Domino at the beginning of next year."

"Is that the earliest you can return?"

"I don't know. I'm just predicting." he says laughing.

"For some reason or another, Anzu wants to talk to you."

He quickly stops laughing after I said that.

"For what?"

"I don't know Atemu. She keeps begging me for your contact information of any kind."

"Have you given anything to her?"

"Has she called you?"

"Keep up that attitude and I may sneak to Domino City."

"I'll be right here waiting."

"Well, I have to go. I will talk to you tomorrow, ok Aibou."

"Ok. Tomorrow. Love you."

He gets silent...kind of taken back...

"I love you too, Aibou. Ja."

"Ja ne."

I flop down on my bed and gaze into the sky. I love the fact that my window is literally my ceiling. I can
lay in bed and look at the moon and stars... I loved when Atemu was staying the night here. We would
both look at the sky and wish on the nagareboshi.

After a while longer of reminissing, I go and eat dinner, then watch the tournament special.

"Welcome duel fans to our 2nd special of Worldwide Invitational Tournament." greets Kazuki-kun. "Today
the tournament began with 64, and now it's dwindled down to 8. And who are those 8 Elite duelists
Arthur-kun?"

"Duelist Number 1: Mutou Yugi, Number 2: Rebecca Hopkins, Number 5: Jounouchi Katsuya,
Number 7: Akefia Nakumon, Number 8: Kaiba Seto, Number 10: Almeda Stringer,
Number 15: Vivian Wong, and a surprise, duelist Number 60: Rafael Chekov."

Wow a 60th Rank is in the Elite Eight! I forgot what his deck theme was...

"Arthur-kun, there's no surprise that Mutou Yugi and Rebecca Hopkins are in the Elite Eight."

"Yes, Kazuki-kun, we were expecting that the US and Japanese National Champions to be there in the 2nd
day of the tourney."

"But if they both win their Elite Eight duels, then they will meet in the Final Four in a battle of favorites...
powerhouses against each other."

From the way things are looking, I may have to duel Vivian Wong.

I continue watching the show, and at the end they annouce the matchups for the Elite Eight and all possible
combinations to predict the winner. Kazuki-kun predicts I am going to be the winner, while Arthur-kun
predicts Rebecca is going to be the winner. Of course he would go for his granddaughter... If jii-chan was
an analyst, then he'd say I would win too.

Well, he better say that I would.

So, here are the matchups. Me against Jou. Kaiba against Akefia, Rebecca againt Vivian, and Almeda against
Rafael. When I win, my Final Four duel will indeed be against the winner of the Rebecca/Vivian matchup.

Time for bed! I have a tournament to win and a title to earn!

...

8:01, I've been announced and now it's time to duel!! I'm so glad we're on the 8000 LP System! I can
slowly torture Jou and his Gamble Deck. It truly helps when your family owns a game shop. I do get the
advantage of getting new booster decks before they officially hit the shelves.

I'm so glad the new boosters came yesterday. There are lots of cards that can easily defeat a gamble deck,
and I will use them to the fullest!

"Good luck, Jounouchi." I say...And that's only out of respect.

"You're going to need it more than I do. Lady luck always smiles upon me. I know your strategies Yugi. I've
seen them all, memorized them, and my deck is made especially to counter each and every move you make!"

So much for what he knows. I still haven't put Black Magician back into my deck. I'm saving him for the
Final Four.

"We'll see Jou."

"Duel!" We both say and begin our duel.

...

"Shorisha, Mutou Yugi!"

Another close call, this time, only 150 LP left. You have to admit, Jounouchi has a very strong deck that's kind
of hard to counter. But...I did it. I wonder what type of rant jii-chan will give me now...

I go to the stands and wait for the 4th round to finish. On my way up the stairs, Anzu stands and blocks my
path.

"Let me guess, Anzu, you want to talk to Atemu."

"How'd you know?"

"You've been pestering me these past two days about it."

"I have? How time flies. Especially when you have valuable information."

"What type of valuable information?" I ask, very curious as to what she could possibly know.

"Nothing. Nothing. If you don't want to give me the information...."

"No. I'm not. Atemu didn't give his concent."

"So you told him."

"Of course I did. Why should I hide anything from him?"

"Because you hid from me!"

"Here we go with this again. If this is all you want to bug me about, then I have better things to do." I say
moving her to the side and going to where my parents are sitting.

"Atemu must be bald by now." jii-chan says teasingly. "But, I have to give you credit. Katsuya-kun's
Gamble Deck is awesome."

"As you may have noticed, my deck isn't even at full strength." I say...sort of bragging to my jii-chan.

"Shorisha, Akefia Nakumon!"

"That was quick! What did he do to Kaiba's deck?!" I say in amazement. The crowd is almost speechless
as they are in awe that the duel went so fast.

"So, what were you saying about your deck Yugi?" jii-chan asks.

"Oh yea... It's just that I haven't used my Black Magician since the 1st duel against Varon."

"Really. The card's not in your deck?"

"Should it be?"

"You're a sandwich short of a picnic when it comes to your deck Yugi. By you leaving out a key card, none
of the other cards can transition smoothly."

"It's been working lately. But I will add him back for the Final Four, once I learn who my opponent is."

I sit back and continue watching the duels. Rebecca and Rafael win their duels. So it's me vs Rebecca and
Akefia vs Rafael.

There's an 10 minute intermission before the start of the Final Four...Round 5. I grab a bag of chips to settle
my growling stomach.

Hmm...what's this crowd of people doing?

"Eek!! I can't believe it! Atemu Ikhras and Dartz McKinnon are in the same spot!" I hear someone yell then
run to the crowd.

There are a lot of cameras and people crowded around... Wait...did she just say Atemu Ikhras?! Kami, there's
no way!

I run to the crowd and peek in to the center. Indeed, Atemu and Dartz are talking and doing interviews. I bet
his dream as well as mine have just came true. His dream to meet Dartz and my dream to have him back in
Domino City!

I wonder if I can mind link with him. I close my eyes and concentrate to the best of my ability. I open my
eyes once more and the crowd of people begin to disappear one by one.

'Aibou? Is that you?'

'Hai! I'm so glad to see you back here in Domino!'

'Where are you? It's hard to see through the crowd!'

'I'm on the other side of the crowd! Did the doctors give you the ok to travel?'

'Yea, finally. But I can't stay for long, only a few days.'

'Why?'

'Because, okaa-san, and otou-san don't think I'm completely healed and want me to stay until the Alexandrian
Rose blooms again in December.'

'What?! That's 7 months away!'

'I know, but you can wait on me until then.'

'I can wait on you forever Atemu!'

'You better hurry back to your duel. Good luck and I'll be cheering for you!'

'Arigatou!'

He breaks the link and I hear the end of the announcement...the one signaling that the duels will begin in
one minute. I run back to the platforms and get ready for my duel against Rebecca. She's a tough player.
Only 13 years old and already the American Champion. I wonder will she duel in the North American
Championship?

...

"Shorisha, Mutou Yugi! Shorisha, Rafael Chekov!"

Wow, we won at the same time. But he actually defeated Akefia! I can't believe that someone has taken
down his Occult Deck!

So now, all I have to worry about is my next duel in 30 minutes...and getting close to Atemu before that
time is up.

"Now, we will take a 30 minute intermission for the duelists to get ready for the finals. In the meantime,
get out your paper and pen and get ready to take notes on deck secrets and strategies! During this time,
Kaiba Seto will share tips, secrets, and strategies to a Beat-Down Deck: Dragon Themed and Jounouchi
Katsuya will share tips, secrets, and strategies to winning with a perfect Gamble Deck."

A four-way screen comes down from out the ceiling and a movie plays, showing the tips. Maybe they should
ask me and Atemu for the Magicians Deck tips.

I feel something on my shoulder and I turn around to see Atemu looking into my eyes. It feels like a dream,
to see him here, with me once again.

Was anyone expecting Atemu to be back in Domino so soon?! I know everyone aleady knows that Yugi is
going to win WIT, it's no secret. I just wanted him to duel against Rafael. ;-) Yea, there's your spoiler for
