(The next morning)
Soguraku opening the door. "You're going to school today. You've been skipping school lately. Your mother asked me to make sure you go." He lectured.
"Hello Yuugi." His mom walked in the room.
"MOM!" Yuugi stood up fast.
"So son, are you gonna introduce me to your little friend there?" She pointed at the larger boy still asleep despite all the yelling.
"He's sleeping." Yuugi whined.
"Wake him up, I haven't met him, yet he's with you every night." She said while her son gave her the most unforgiving look. "I used to think you were talking to yourself." Yuugi looked at his partner. "He's been here the whole time hasn't he?" She slapped him in the face when he didn't answere her right away. "You are in so much trouble young man."
"But mom I love him." Yuugi said. His mom slapped him again.
"YOU HAVE BEEN LYING TO ME THIS WHOLE TIME!" She woked up Yami, He was miffed to see his Hikari crying while his mom and grandpa were making it worse. "You are Yami?" She looked at him.
"Yes." He said sternly.
"Get out of my house you bastard!" She said angry but not yelling. Yami starred her down. He looked at Yuugi and thought to himself. "I don't want him to get into anymore trouble, but I'll come back for him."
"OUT." Sogaruku shouted at him. He left but not before giving his Aibou and hug and kiss on his tear soaked cheek. Yuugi kept his sight on the floor. He sat back down.
"Dad, please sure he get's dressed and goes to school, I'm late for work." She headed out but soguraku stopped her at the doorway.
"Hey, don't hit him anymore." Soguraku said lowly.
"Dad..Don't tell me how to raise my kid." She left. Soguraku walked back in and sat on the bed with his grandson.
"We just want what's best for you." He saw that Yuugi was more hurt than he ever seen him before. "Calm down." Huggs him.
"Don't touch me." Pushes him away. "You and mom don't want me to be happy." He cries. "Go away."
"Are you going to school today?" He asks but he doesn't answere. Soguraku shuts his door. "She doesn't have to know he skipped today to...Just make sure you go in tommarow." Soguraku said opening the door again trying to sound sincere. Before closing the door he veiwed his grandson crying his eyes out with his hand on the puzzle with rested on the nightstand. Then closed the door feeling guilty.
