The Nightmare!

Welcome one and all to Chapter 21. I really hope everyone is enjoing this story
so far. A special thank you to all my readers and reviewers! I wouldn't keep
writing (or typing lol) if it wasn't for you! Now it's time for Chapter 21, and
a feature POV of Jou.

Chapter 21: The Puzzle Slowly Forms

(Shadow Realm) *Yami's POV*

How could I be so careless to let myself be caught? And by Anzu of all people!
Kura and Ri just executed the plan and hopefully they caught on and will do
something to help us.

'I think Malik got the message.' Kura says.

"'So, why couldn't we integrate with our hikari?'" I ask.

''As long as they don't remember us, then we can't do it. Ishizu remembered
us and she was able to be a temporary host for us.'' Ri explains.

'Wait a minute, what about the others? Maybe we could integrate with Kaiba.
I'm sure that he still remembers us.' suggests Bakura.

"'Well, let's give it a try.'" I say, hoping it would work.

I hope that Kaiba and Jou weren't affected by Anzu. I hope they are still
living happy lives. Same thing goes for Honda and Otogi. Please, Ra let
this work.

(Kaiba Manor) *Jou's POV*

Not again! I had that same dream! I won't run away this time! And what's Seto
doing up?

"Jou? I had a dream about you and Honda." Seto says to me.

"I had the same dream again about your past."

"This seems a bit too ironic. Every time you close your eyes here, you're having
nightmares about me. And now, they're affecting me."

"Seto, there may be a connection with all this."

"What do you mean?"

"While I was talking to Honda earlier, he said that he was having nightmares
about Otogi. And Otogi was having nightmares about him."

What the heck is wrong with Kaiba's eyes?? He looks like a friggin zombie!

"Jou? Can you hear me?"

I back away from him.

"Jounouchi-kun? Don't run. I am one with Kaiba now and I can see you through
his eyes."

This is really getting weird...

"Who are you?"

"It's me, Yami."

"What the hell are you doing in Seto? Aren't you supposed to be somewhere
with Yugi? Just wait until..."

"I'm in the Shadow Realm with Bakura and Marik." He says interrupting me.

"What the heck are you doing there?"

"We were trapped here by Anzu."

No way...how could she have done that?!

"The nightmares that you have been having were caused by Anzu. She altered
your dreams to her liking so that you would break up with Kaiba."

"That bastard!"

"Go to Yugi's. And do not let him go to sleep. If he does, then there will be
nothing that can be done to stop her."

Seto's body collapses onto me.

"Yami?" I say gently shaking Seto's body.

"Ughh...Katsuya, what happened? Why are you calling me Yami?" Seto says
slowly returning to normal.

"Yami just integrated with you. He explained where the nightmares were coming
from."

"And...?"

"Anzu. She did it! She's been trying to break us up."

"She's so stupid. If she doesn't like us being together, then she needs to just
stay away from us."

"Come on Seto." I say putting my clothes on.

"Where are we going?"

"To Yugi's. Yami said for us to not let him sleep. If he does go to sleep, then
her plan will succeed and there'll be nothing we can do to stop her."

Seto quickly puts his clothes on and we rush to Yugi's. The door was opened a
little, so we let ourselves in and rushed upstairs.

"Yugi?! Yugi! Where are you?" I say opening his bedroom, and seeing no one
there.

"We're in here." I turn aroud to see Ryou standing behind us.

"What are you doing here? Is Yugi still awake?" Seto asks.

"Malik and I recieved a phone call from Ishizu telling us to keep Yugi awake.
And we've been doing all that we can to keep him from sleeping. Come on,
we're in the bathroom." Ryou replies.

We follow him into the bathroom and see Yugi sitting on Malik's lap.

"Hey you two. Came to join the "Keep Yugi Awake Party?" Yugi says laughing.

"Yami warned us Yugi." I said.

"Is he ok? Where is he?!" Yugi asks sternly.

"He said that he was trapped in the Shadow Realm with Bakura and Marik." I
replied.

"Yugi, what can we do now? How are we supposed to stop them?" Malik asks.

"I don't know. There has to be a way that we can go into the Shadow Realm and
rescue the yamis." He replies.

-Intro to Shuffle plays-

"Umm...who is that calling you Jou?" Kaiba asks me in a very annoyed tone.

I slowly pick up my phone and look at the I.D.

"Honda..." I say pressing the 'talk' button.

"Moshi moshi."

'Jou? Where are you? I went by Kaiba's and the butler said that you two
were gone.'

"We're at Yugi's. I think you really need to get over here. Where's Otogi?"

'He's right here sleeping. So what's the emergency?'

"Get here and everything will be explained to you."

'Ok, just let me get some clothes on Otogi and we'll be right over.'

"Eh...so I guess you two made up also?"

'Long story bud. We'll see you soon. Ja!'

"Ja!"

I put my phone back in my pocket.

"They're coming over." I say to Yugi.

Man, he's looking rough. Everytime he thinks about sleeping, Malik and Ryou
'remind' him of his cold bath.

"That wasn't funny you know!" Yugi yells at them.

"We're sorry! We just couldn't think of any other way to get you awake and
keep you there." Ryou says laughing at Yugi's 'innocent' anger.

We sat talking for a minute until I heard someone coming up the stairs. I jumped
up off the floor and peeked downstairs. It was Honda and Otogi.

"Hey! Jounouchi! Why do you want us to come over so late at night?" Otogi
asks, yawning.

"The dreams. The truth to them. Come on, everyone's in the bathroom."

"In the bathroom?" Honda asks questionably.

"We're trying to keep Yugi awake. If he goes to sleep then...it'll be all over
for their other selves."

"Whose other selves?" Otogi asks leg agg against Honda.

"Yugi, Ryou, and Malik. Their other selves were trapped in the Shadow
Realm by Anzu and..."

"Anzu!" Otogi yells, standing up straight. "I thought they got rid of her!"

"So what happened then bud?" Honda asks me.

"You know the weird dreams ya been having? Anzu caused them for us to
break up!"

"That stupid...bitch! What the hell does she have against us being in love?"
Honda says to me.

"I don't know man, but Yugi's the key to stopping her. I think he may still
have a link or something between him and Yami." I reply.

"But what about Malik and Ryou? Shouldn't they have the same thing?" Honda
suggests to me.

"They should..." I say headed back into the bathroom.

"Hey Yugi?"

"Yea?"

"Shouldn't Ryou and Malik have that link with their other selves?" I ask.

"They should, but since their memory has been completely erased of their
other selves, then it would be useless."

"Ohh, so that's why it's important to keep you awake. Because you're the
only one who's remotely capable of communicating with your other self."
Malik says to us.

(Shadow Realm) *Yami's POV*

Everyone's in the bathroom with my aibou. I'm glad they got the message
and they are trying to keep him awake. He needs to be awake for a little
longer though. Just long enough for us to figure out how to get them, here.

"Oh Pharoah, do you remember my lover from the past?" Dream Clown
asks me.

"'Does it look like I remember?'" I reply to him.

Hmm...who could his lover havve been then? Dream Clown was a participant
in the Shadow Games. Was he in love with someone, or did he just like...
someone...

"I've figured something out Pharoah. My lover was reincarnated. Just like
you, the robber, and the priest."

"'Well then, why are you telling me this?'"

"Because, you know who he was...and is. How could you forget your lover,
Pharoah? It took me a while to realize it was truly him. I mean, so much
has changed over 5000 years. He still has that sexy golden body with
the beautiful hair."

''Who is he talking about Kura?'' I hear Marik ask Kura.

'I don't know. It's been so long since the Pharoah ever had a lover other
than Yugi.' Kura replies to him.

Who was my lover? Why can't I remember him?

How will Dream Clown get to his lover? Will the lovernd and a way to stop
