Chapter 20 is upon us now readers! Today is the first day of classes and we fast forward to
Jou in the Student Center.

Chapter 20: First Day of Hell

Today, first day of classes. My only classes were Marketing and Management. Looks like
they're going to be easy...hopefully.

Atemu asked me to meet him in the Student Center after 11. So, here I am.

I look around for a place to sit, and I finally do, at a corner table.

I see other students talking and some eating.

"Hello there."

I look up to see Atemu as he sits beside me.

"Hey."

"You look so tense. Calm down. We're just hanging out."

"This is my first day...ok."

"I've never known you to be shy."

"Well, that should tell you something Atemu. Maybe you don't know me."

He laughs. "Hopefully over the semester I can get to know you. Are you hungry?"

"Nah."

"Ok. Was just wandering. Don't want you to sit here and starve."

"I have sense enough to get up and get something to eat myself."

"You're still a smart ass. Don't you know that Katsuya."

"Huh...Katsuya?!" another student says turning around.

Who is he?

"Are you Jounouchi Katsuya?" he asks.

I nod.

"So, you're the one that's taken Kaiba Seto off the market. Never figured you would
come here."

"Yea..." I say laughing very nervously.

Oh great, now everyone's looking at me...

Where'd Atemu go?! Dammit! Fine time for me to be alone.

"I've heard a lot about you Jou. Is that ok, may I call you Jou?"

"That's fine..."

Why did I come here...Why? Why? Why?

"You know that Kaiba has a child. So why are you with him?"

"I know that he has a child. Previous relationship."

"So, you turned him gay? Heard that from Naoki."

Huh?! How could he know her? Unless...

"She told me that last semester. She is a student here. Usually comes here around noon."

No...way....

"But you know the ironic thing about it Jou, is that Kaiba Corp is paying her way."

"Really. So I guess your way is paid too. Ahh, why am I telling you this. It's none of my
business anyways."

Thank you for realizing that.

"By the way, my name is Marik. Marik Ishtar. Hope to see you around, Jou." he says
leaving along with the others at the table with him.

"Sorry for leaving you like that, but I was hungry."

I look towards Atemu who is holding a sandwich and soda.

"So much for help from someone's who's been here longer than me. Should I expect
more from you? Nah."

"You're such a bitch Katsuya."

"Only to Seto."

"Ha. Ha. Ha. But anyways, did you meet Marik? He has a twin brother named Malik and
a sister, Ishizu, and a step-brother, Rishid."

"So, you went through his family tree."

"Anyways, he's one of the most well-known students on campus. Anything he says literally
goes. So, if he says your name is 'Peanut', then everyone on campus will call you 'Peanut'.
Including instructors."

"Great. I think I'm doing nothing but going to class and to my room for the rest of the
semester."

"I doubt it."

"I'm going back to the room, see you later, Atemu." I say picking up my bag and heading
towards the door.

"Wait. I'll walk with you." Atemu yells as he runs and catches up.

I didn't bother saying anything to him on the walk back.

"I'm going to Yugi's room. Wanna come?" he says as we reach the 2nd floor.

I shrug in response and follow him towards the middle of the hall.

" '2nd floor Residence Assistant: Mutou Yugi' " I read as he knocks on the door.

The door opens as we go in.

"Busy Yugi??" asks Atemu.

"Nope. Just trying to finish some paperwork. A lot of students are trying to move in here."
he responds as he types onto a spreadsheet. "Everyone has showed up on this floor. I don't
know about the other 4. Karim told me that he had one person to cancel their room and
now he wants it back."

I look at the screen and see that the other students are seniors, except for Yugi and myself.

Wonder how I... On 2nd thought, I know.

"What do you have to eat in here? My fridge is kind of bare." Atemu yells from the kitchen.

"Will you get out of there! My food is for me! Besides, you're the older one. You should
be looking out for me!"

I laugh at the two as Yugi attempts to pull some chocolate cakes away from Atemu's hands.
Yugi eventually gives in to his brother and sits back at his computer desk.

"Sorry for ignoring you Jou. You know you're welcomed to anything if you ever want. I
always keep more food than I eat."

"Yea, and you never share!"

"Shut up and eat my snack cake. Anyways Jou, if you need anything, just let me know."

"I need something Yugi!"

"I'm not talking to you either Atemu. Besides, if you want it, you'll come and get it from me
anyways."

"Of course. That's my job as your onii-san."

My cell phone rings and I leave the two brothers to their petty arguing. Seto...

"Moshi moshi." I answer as I open my room door and go in.

"Hey Katsuya! How are you?"

"I'm great. How are you?"

"Doing well. So, how did your first day go? Who is your roommate? Tell me your schedule."

"My first day went great. I learned that Naoki goes here and KaibaCorp is paying for everything."

"She's paying for it through the money I give her for Kiyo."

"You give her THAT much?"

"No...yes... She has her current boyfriend that gives her money also. So it's not all from my
end."

"Uh huh... So anyways, I have 2 classes everyday. Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays I have
classes from 8am to 10am. On Tuesdays/Thursdays I have classes from 8:30-12."

"So I can call you after let's say 1pm everyday?"

"Yea. That's good. By then I would have eaten and done any homework."

"So, what about your roommate. Who is he?"

I hear the door click and open.

'Katsuya! Who are you talking to?' Atemu says.

Great...

"Who is that? Why is he calling you Katsuya? Are the two of you that close already?"

"That is my roommate."

"Roommate has a name doesn't he?"

Now Seto's mad... He's going to be even angrier when I tell him who he is...

"Katsuya Jounouchi! Tell me who your roommate is!" he almost yells into my ear.

'Is that Seto Kaiba? Hello Kaiba-kun! He's told so much about you! You're really lucky to
have him as a boyfriend! What I wouldn't give to be in your shoes!'

Atemu is not making this any better...

"I'm listening for a name Katsuya."

Knowing Seto, He'll come to Kyoto...I know him.

"Seto..."

"I don't want to hear that."

"You said you were listening for a name. So I gave you one."

'Katsuya, you haven't told him that we were roommates? Shame on you.'

Will you shut up! You're not making this any better for me or you!

"It's Atemu." I say as quickly as I could.

"What... You're roomed with your ex? I bet you had something to do with it."

"Seto, no! Listen to me."

"I don't want to hear it. I'm moving you out to an apartment and I won't take no for an
answer!"

What the hell?!

"Seto. You listen to me." I say as calmly as possible. "I had nothing to do with who my
roommate was going to be. I just signed the confirmation form and sent it in. And as far as
you coming to move me out, I say no. I refuse to move off campus right now."

"You just want to be closer to him! That's why you chose Kyoto University."

"I did not. I chose it because it was one of the best, lowest-costing universities in the country.
Now, if you do not trust me, then I suggest you get over it."

"So, you just want to get back with him Katsuya!"

Is he scared?

"Seto, don't worry. I want nothing to do with him. Believe me. Trust me. Nothing will ever
happen between Atemu and I. Not ever again. What we had in the past is now the past."

"Sometimes the past likes to sneak up behind you and bite you where it hurts the most."

"Not if you're moved on towards the future. You learn from your past mistakes." I say looking
directly at Atemu who is sitting on his bed laughing silently.

"I have another call. I'm at work right now and I must take this. I will call you as soon as I
get home ok Katsuya. I love you."

"I love you too. Bye."

"Bye."

I hang up the phone, fustrated, angry, scared. How can he not trust me?! I know I'm not in
Domino City anymore, but that's no reason for him to not trust me. I trust him when he goes
on his business trips. For all I know, he could be just somewhere in town with Naoki. But,
I know in my heart he would never cheat on me.

Seto would never cheat on me, and neither would I.
