Werewolf Love

Yugi woke up to find himself curled up in his bed naked. He was confused at first until he remember the events of the night before. Suddenly wide awake, he looked around his room, wide amethyst eyes looking around for the werewolf Yami. He found him licking a plate clean, having just finished a steak in the fridge. Yugi stared at him, wondering what was going to happen to him now. Yami sauntered forward, his tight school uniform pants making Yugi shiver for some reason.
Yugi backed up as far as he could on the bed as Yami crawled toward him from the foot. Yami’s eyes gleamed with sinful lust for his little mate, and Yugi shivered unde his gaze. Turning away, Yugi asked, “Did you hurt anyone last night?”
Yami was surprised by this question, but smiled as he answered, “No. After we made love, I brought you up here and slept for awhile. I woke up not to long ago and reheated a steak in from your refrigerator. You’re a wonderful cook. I may never go back to hunting with you by my side.”
Yugi looked at him, wondering if Yami was telling the truth. The love shining from those crimson eyes settled Yugi’s fears. He relaxed and laid down on the bed, pulling his sheets up to his chin, and, feeling safer than before, went back to sleep.

Yugi missed school that day, which caused his two best friends Jounouchi and Honda to worry. When the final bell rang, Jou bolted from his seat and raced to Yugi’s home, Honda following on his heels. Jou pounded on the door before he dropped his hands to his knees and gasped for air. Honda, who had run out of stamina long before his fighter friend, jogged up behind Jou, panting hard as the front door opened. Jou and Honda were shocked to see the new student standing in the doorway.
“What’re you doing here?” Jou demanded of the werewolf, unaware of the dangers of speaking to him so harshly. Yami’s eyes narrowed.
“i spent the night,” he said simply. Yugi came up, having heard Jou’s voice, and his face broke into a grin as he saw his blond-haired friend. Jou saw that Yugi was fine, and he visibly relaxed, making Yami relax as well as he realized the teen’s haughty nature had been caused by worry for his little aibou. Yami stepped aside, leaving the doorway open for Jou and Honda to enter. “Please, come in, friends of Yugi.”
“The name’s Jounouchi,” Jou said a bit stiffly. Yami nodded as the blond walked past him to see if Yug was really all right.
“Name’s Honda,” the brown-haired teen introduced before heading over to his two buddies. Yami looked at them jealously as Yugi nonchalantly talked to them. He wished Yugi was that comfortable around him, but there was still some fear of the werewolf in Yugi. Yami went to the kitchen and reheated another steak from Yugi’s fridge, finding himself hungry and unwillingly to break Yugi’s fragile trust in him by going hunting that night. Yugi and his two friends walked in as he licked his plate clean.
“Damn, you’re boyfriend eats like an animal!” Jou exclaimed, watching Yami ravenously lick every last drop of juice from the plate. Yugi looked down, wondering if he should tell his friends the truth. Yami, however, was pleasantly surprised to hear himself be called Yugi’s boyfriend, and looked over to the little angel joyfully. Yugi felt his stare and looked up, smiling in an embarrassed way, his eyes showing he now trusted his werewolf partner and accepted their relationship. Yami grinned as he walked over and placed a chaste kiss on Yugi’s lips, causing his little one to blush. He then turned to the grinning duo beside Yugi, deciding to fill them in on what he was. If Yugi trusted them as friends, so would he.
“Jounouchi, Honda, please do not be frightened by what I am about to tell you,” Yami began, causing Jou and Honda’s grins to fade a bit with worry. Yami sighed, holding Yugi lovingly in his arms as unconsciously stroked Yugi’s soft hair, making the smaller teen melt in his arms. He continued, “I have done nothing to harm my aibou, but I regret those I harmed before meeting him. I am a werewolf, and before last night I hunted throughout the streets of Domino every night, feeding myself with humans. I fell for Yugi when I saw him yesterday and followed him home to claim him as my mate. I vowed to never hunt another human to show my love my devotion to him.”
Honda looked stunned at this news, but Jou smiled knowingly. “I had a feeling about dat,” Jou admitted, causing the other three to look at him in shock. Jou sighed. “Ya appeared mysteriously yesterday, last night dere were no attacks, and today both you and Yug were MIA from school. Too many coincedences for my tastes. I’m just glad everyting’s gonna be fine now,” Jou said with a smile. He held out his hand to the werewolf. “From now on, yer one of us, pal!”
Yami grinned widely at the ease Jou accepted him, taking his new friend’s hand in a firm handshake. He vowed he would protect Jou and Honda like brothers, since it was obvious they already did so for his aibou.
