Chapter Two
I do not own anyone or anything in YU-GI-OH! nor do I accept any money in the making of this story...there are we done? ok...ON TO CHAPTER TWO!!!!
After first period, classes went more smoothly for Ryou. Those boys from that morning were not in his other classes, and he was all the more glad for that one. He had even made a few friends rather quickly.
In his second class, he had met a small boy named Yuugi Moutou, who seemed kind enough. When he saw that Ryou was nervous, he came right over and introduced himself, and his group of friends. Ryou found out their names were Jonouichi, Otogi and Honda.
At the moment, Yuugi and Ryou were talking while going to lunch. The smell of food was calling to Ryou's empty stomach and he admitted, quite embarrassed, that he hadn't eaten breakfast because he was far too nervous. After being teased by the group, the subject was changed by Jonouichi. "So what was England like?"
"It was rather nice, but far too crowded for my tastes," Ryou replied thoughtfully. "My favorite place to live was Now Yrok CIty. It was beautiful, though a little crowded at times."
Yuugi looked up at him with wide eyes. "WOW! You've been *everywhere* haven't you, Ryou?" The white haired boy laughed as they moved through the polished halls, admiring a few of the paintings. He had always loved art, especially the ancient Egyptian heirgoglyphics. Something about them seemed oddly comforting to the boy, though he had never told anyone of this.
The small group entered the lunch room and Ryou was taken aback. It was larger than his father's last excavation site! Students sat all over the place laughing and talking over their lunches. As they moved toward the lunch line, Ryou spotted the boys from his first class sitting with three other people. As if knowing Ryou was thinking of him, the one called Bakura picked his head up and stared at him, his hard gaze making the boy shudder.
Ryou gulped and walked quickly to catch up with Yuugi, who was ordering his lunch. "Yuugi....who is that boy with the white hair? He seems a bit...off."
The smaller boy looked around and a scowl formed on his boyish face. "That's Bakura. Stay away from him, he's bad news. Everyone says that he and the rest of the people at that table are in a gang." Ryou shivered at the thought and ordered his lunch quickly, wanting to get back to the table with the others as soon as possible.
'A gang...' the boy thought. 'That explains his attitude.'
Once the group was seated they began to eat in silence, which was good for Ryou as he inhaled his food. Never before had he had food this good in a cafeteria! "Wow Ryou....take a breath there." Otogi laughed.
Suddenly a fist slammed down on the table in front of Ryou. The boy coughed as he choked on his juice. "Holy shit, Kura! He *does* look like you! Only this one is much cuter..."
Ryou thought he was looking at Marik, but the voice was all wrong. This boy sounded too light-hearted and happy to be the boy from his first class. The blonde boy moved closer, a large grin on his face that gave Ryou cause to be afraid. "Maybe we should check if he's *exactly* like you....down here."
Ryou yelped as a hand grabbed in between his legs and he jumped from the table. Without thinking he smacked the blonde across the face, his chest pumping as he breathed raggedly. "Don't you dare touch me, yu foul mouthed heathen!"
The rest of Ryou's little group began to rise when Bakura came forward chuckling. "Now, now boys.... My friend Malik here was just playing around with the runt. We came over to just *welcome* our new classmate, since this morning we didn't have a chance."
He walked over to Ryou and slammed his palms down on the boy's shoulders, making Ryou give out a strangled cut off yelp. "Welcome to our big happy family..." Bakura sneered.
Malik giggled and leaned over to lok Ryou in the eyes. "Meet your new daddy."

Later that night, Ryou sat in his room. Having finished unpacking his things he was spread out on his bed, looking out the large window over his pillow, staring at the stars. On the other side of the room was another bed, but it looked as if it were unused. Ryou sighed and closed his eyes. "I miss you father..." he whispered, feeling tears gather behind his eyes, hot and sad.
This would be the longest he was ever away from his only parent. Soon he found himself drifting off to sleep, when a loud bang caused him to jump, nearly falling on to the hard tile floor. Looking around, there was another loud bang, and Ryou looked towards the door where it originated. Jumping from the bed he rushed to the door and tried opening it, but it was stuck!
"Hey! Who's out there! Open this door now!" His voice quivered as he pounded on the door. On the other side was muffled laughter.
"Ah ah ah!" Said a familiar voice. "Say please and we might open the door in the morning!" The voice said, Ryou know knowing the voice to belong to Marik.
"NO!" Ryou cried, starting to panic. "Open this door right now!"
Bakura's laughter could be heard outside the door. "Aww....is the little boy lonely? Want one of us to come in there?" As he was speaking a noise from the window causing Ryou to turn around, and he found himself staring into the face of Malik, who wore a crooked grin.
"He looks pretty lonely from this side!" he called slurring his words.
Bakura and Marik laughed hysterically from outside. Ryou backed away from the boy, too scared to smell the alchohol at first then as Malik got closer the smell almost knocked him on his butt. He had never liked alchohol or the smell.
"You're drunk!" He hissed as if afraid someone might hear him. "You know drinking isn't allowed in the school!"
Malik laughed and hiccupped. "LIke I give a shit what the school rules are?" He took a step closer to Ryou and tumbled. The smaller boy jumped when his back hit the wall but it was too late to get away. The drunken Malik had backed him into a corner.
"Don't hurt him too bad Malik!" Marik called from outside. "We want the leftovers to have a little fight left in them!"
Ryou listened carefully and heard their laughter growing fainter. They had left him alone with Malik! "Why are you doing this to me!?" Ryou cried, sobbing. "What have I done to you?" Malik righted himself from yet another stumble and giggled.
"Just shut up and take it like a man....though you don't look anything like one...." he laughed at his own little joke. "I promise not to hurt you too bad..." Malik reached a hand out and stroked Ryou's cheek softly.
The white haired boy tried to scream, but Malik's hand covered his mouth before a sound could escape. "What did I just say?" He hissed, his lavender eyes growing darker.
Ryou saw his chance when Malik's hand loosened. Taking his hands he placed them on Malik's chest and shoved with all his might. The blonde boy stumbled back with a curse and Ryou ran towards his bed. Malik smiled, his lips curving into and evil smirk. "So, you want to do it on your bed, hmm? I can deal with that."
Looking around frantically Ryou spotted his lamp on his nightstand. He stepped in front of it and reached back, gripping it tightly, and when Malik was close enough, he gave a mighty swing, bringing the lamp crashing over his would-be attacker's head. Malik's eyes went wide before he groaned and fell, unfortunately forward on to Ryou.
Breathign heavily, Ryou pushed the heavy boy off of him and stumbled back, his back hitting the wall. His legs buckled and he slid down to sit heavily on the floor. HIs whole body trembled and tears streamed down his face. Now he really wanted to go home....

All through their classes Bakura and Marik giggled, whispering to one another. Once they had made a bet on whether Ryou would be able to walk soon, or be in bed for a week. By the time luch time rolled around, the two boys were in hysterics.
They hurried to their table where their friends waited, apparently confused as to their anitcs. "You would never guess what happened last night..." Marik laughed, wiping the tears from his eyes. Seto lifted an eyebrow. "Something amusing, I would assume?"
Bakura nodded, laughing just as hard as his friend. "Malik got drunk last night..." Yami smirked. "And there's something unusual and funny about that?"
Bakura laughed again, shaking his head. "No...you see, we locked the new kid I was telling you about in his room, and Malik climbed through his window..." He had to take a breath, struggling to breathe. "When we went back to the room later, we heard heavy breathing and a groan....So you can inagine what happened."
Yami's eyes widened in shock. "You did not...." he couldn't fathom what he was hearing. "You didn't let that poor boy get raped!" Marik shook his head. "It wouldn't be rape in the end. Trust me."
Seto said nothing, but cast a furrowed glance at his smaller cousin, who shook his head defeatedly. Nothing even he said could tame the mischevious trio of Bakura Malik and Marik.

Yuugi and his group walked into the lunchroom, Yuugi's bright purple eyes searching the room in hopes of seeing a white head of hair, but the one he saw made him enraged. Above the usual chatter of the students, he could hear Bakura and Marik laughing while their two friends sat there with worried and angry faces.
But, one was missing from their group... Yuugi sat with his friends, keeping his eyes on the group of trouble-makers across the room. At one point Bakura looked over at him and smiled evily. That was the breaking poitn for the small boy. "I'll be right back," he said to his friends and started to get up.
"What's up, Yuug?" Jonouichi asked, looking up from the card game he had started with Otogi. Yuugi glared at the other group across the room. "I think I know what happened to Ryou..." was all he said before stalking off.
"The small one is coming this way.."
Yami's voice interrupted the giggling of Bakura and Marik and they both turned to see the scowling Yuugi Motou storming his way over to their table. The group watched with stunned amused faces as the small boy came over to the table.
"Where is Ryou?" He asked, his small voice edged with anger.
"How should we know?" Marik laughed. His sides hurt from laughing too hard. Yuugi scowled and slammed his hand on the table, the sound resounding through the cafeteria.
"I SAID WHERE IS RYOU!?"
The ones sitting at the table were stunned to silence, along with the entire student body. Yuugi ahrdly ever spoke, and here he was screaming at the most feared group in the entire school! The small boy stared each one of them down. "Do I have to repeat myself?"
Seto smirked and was the first to respond. "I believe we, and the eintre school heard you the first time....and besides....even if we knew, why would we tell you?"
Yuugi scowled, looking more cute than angry to Yami, who smiled softly. "Tell me, little one. Why do you want to know so badly?" The two stared at one another, one angry, the other smiling slightly. "Could it be that you... are in a relationship?"
Yuugi was taken back by the question, his face blushing deeply. "N-no....we're good friends. That's all." Bakura snorted. "Yeah, friends with benefits." Yami glanced at him quickly before bringing his eyes back to Yuugi, who was now shaking with rage.
Without warning his hand came out and slapped Bakura across the face, leaving a small red handprint. "How dare you!?" He raged. "Ryou is more of a man than you will ever be! So what if we're in a relationship? At least he isn't cruel and egotistical like some people I know!"
The group stared at the small boy incredulously as he continued. "If he was, he would have sent you to the princinple's room right now!"
With each word that came out of Yuugi's mouth, Yami felt his heart sinking deeper and deeper into despair. So the new boy and Yuugi were together.... The small boy's words brought him from his thoughts. "Now tell me where he is, or *I* will send you there myself, and we all know you can't afford to go to that room again....one more visit and you will be kicked out of this school!"
There was a moment of silence before Marik started laughing again, but there was something in his eyes that looked a bit off despite his laughter. "The shrimp's locked in his room!"
Yuugi turned and was about to run off when a tray was slid across to the table to him. "Take this to him," Yami said sadly. "I'm sure he must be hungry."
Yuugi smiled and grabbed the tray, running from the lunchroom.
"You like him, don't you?" Seto looked at hs cousin knowingly. Yami thought a moment listening to Marik and Bakura banter about being defeated by a 'mouse'.
Yami smiled sadly and looked into the ever-knowing blue eyes of Seto. "That, my friend, is for me to know, and for you to find out."
Seto smirked and crossed his arms over his chest. "And what if it's not him?" Purple and blue clashed for a moment before Yami chuckled.
"It's him.... I would never be able to forget his light."
