Duelist Kingdom Revisted
---Chapter 2: Unwanted Discussion
Seto was glancing out the window of his car as it passed buildings on the street on the way to Yugis house.
"How much further?" Seto asked wanting to get this over with.
"We're nearly there sir, another minute or two." The driver replied now making a turn.
'Damn Pegasus, I don't want to have to talk to Yugi in person, I'd rather do it over the phone but I expect Pegasus knows that and thats why he's making me go in person. Dammit Pegasus why make Yugi and his annoying friends come? They're just going to see you get beat by me so why make your humiliation more wide spread? Unless he's planning something and has come up with something I don't know about . . .'
Setos chain of thought was broken as the car suddenly stopped infront of Yugi Mottos house.
"I'll be out in a while just wait here" Seto got out of the car taking his briefcase with his deck in it with him just incase.
He entered the game shop and looked around to find no one there. He began looking around a bit wondering why no one was up front minding the counter at only 5. He then heard footsteps and looked to a doorway in the back.
"Oh I'm so sorry I didn't hear you come in welcome to . . ." Yugis grandfather had come out but then seeing who it was stopped midsentance and slightly glared at Seto slightly remembering about what happened to his own Blue Eyes.
"Is Yugi here or not?" Seto said looking down at Solomon Motto, seeing as Seto was much taller then him.
"Why do you want to see Yugi?" He then noticed Seto carrying his briefcase and figured what must be inside it.
"Do you plan on dueling Yugi?" Solomons glare intensified a bit.
"Only if I have to, for now I just have to speak with him, and if you wouldn't mind I'd like to get this over with as fast as possible. Believe me when I say I'm not here by choice" Seto was now glaring back at Yugis grandfather they're eyes locked.
There was silence for about 10 seconds before Yugis grandfather broke the silence.
"Yugi! Someone is here to see you" he shouted not moving an inch or breaking his gaze.
"Coming!" the distant sound of Yugis voice reached both their ears.
Footsteps could be heard running around and Yugi finally appeared seeing Seto immidiatly.
"What do you want Kaiba?" Yugi didn't sound very rude, but at the same not not welcoming at all.
"You have to go to Duelist Kingdom tomorrow at 2PM" Seto figured he'd atleast get that little bit out of the way.
"What!? Theres no way Yugi is going back to that place its dangerous!" Solomon shouted slightly at Seto.
"Yeah Kaiba I don't want to go see Pegasus, I'm not going!" Yugi raised his voice not blinking.
"Believe me I'd rather not have you go either but I don't have a choice now you're going to go Yugi!" Seto shouted slightly his patience running out.
"Wait a minute . . .if you don't want me to go then why are you telling me to go?" Yugi asked quizically.
"Because Pegasus told me to tell you to go" Seto growled a bit.
"Since when do you start taking orders from Pegasus Seto?" Yugis grandfather asked.
"Since about a half hour ago when he called and and told me he had Mokuba sitting right next to him and that if I didn't follow all his rules that he'd hurt him!" Seto shouted his patience now gone. He just wanted to get his brother back, that was all.
Yugi nor his grandfather spoke for a moment but then Yugi spoke up.
"Are you sure he has him?"
"Yes, I talked to him briefly" Seto looked the other way slightly wishing this conversation would just end.
"Alright, if its for the safety of Mokuba I'll go, do I need to get my own ride?"
"Yes, and tell Wheeler and your other two damn friends they have to go to, Pegasus's orders" Seto then turned to leave and was nearly at the door when Yugi yelled for him to wait. He stopped.
"Why does Pegasus want us to come if his buisness is with you?" Yugi asked.
"He said it was to humiliate me more . . . well its him thats going to be humiliated, but just go Yugi, if you don't show up and something happens to my brother . . . believe me when I say you and your friends will regret it." Without another word Seto walked out the door and back to his car and got in.
"To the mansion, I'm done working today." Seto said leaning back relaxing a bit.
The driver nodded and took off towards the mansion. Seto had expected Yugi would have wanted to duel, that he wouldn't have wanted to come even knowing Mokuba was in danger. He had been wrong though. However that didn't matter now, Seto was going to go back to his mansion and practice every strategy he could and he was going to call up his specialists and have them program his and Pegasus's deck into the computer and come up with strategies.
The sun was now setting behind the tall buildings of Domino and the sight was more spectacular then usual. People on the street ooed and awed at its majesty but all Seto could think about right now, was getting his little brother back unharmed no matter what he had to do.
