The sea was calm while the ship floated in its damage state. The captain look around instructing his men to work on the damages and went to see how the boy was feeling or in need of food. Yugi felt tired after a full night of tears, his voice horse and collapsed to the ground in which he woke up realizing he was on the bed. He didn't know how he came across the room yet his curious eyes look everywhere seeing the decorations that brought life to the room. Certain weapons stand near the wall, a huge map laid on the ground, but what caught his attention was a small object on the table. The boy slowly got off the bed,barefooted, walking close to the object. It was a small necklace shaped of key that had wings attach to it, as he gently rub his hands against the key.
"Like?" he said. Yugi stirred around to see the young captain stared at him.
"Hai, It's very pretty" he quoted. Captain Yami nodded then sat in the edge of his bed, his eyes still focus to the boy's face. "Thank you, tho many seem to be afraid when they see it.
"Why?"
He chuckled lightly, "Because there afraid of me and who i work for"
"Ah i see...Um Is this your room? asked Yugi
"Aye, This is my room and quite a night yesterday was" said Yami smiling. His slim, firm, strong hands adjusted his hat then said, "Hungry?"
Yugi blinked when his stomach answered his question
"Thought so. Come with me boy" said the captain lifting his hand in the air, to ask the hand of the boy. He accepted his offer feeling how warm the captain's hand was, a small dab of blush appear on Yugi's cheeks. "Heh cute...said Yami softly then guide him outside the room.
Yugi look up curious of why this person was helping him, not that he complain much since this is the hero who saved him from trouble. Yet, he would stared the way the captain talked, breath lightly of joy as his lips curve into a bright smile. His hair was similar to yugi's, with additional bangs that covered the captain's eyes. Body structure was more muscliest, taller by a few inches, with strong hands he came in touch with. Yugi didn't realize he keep staring at the captain more, feeling a warm feeling deep down, but nodded to ignore it and look around. The captain's crew work on the ship constantly making sure the ship would be able to fly once more, but for right now it floated gently in the water.
"She will fly once her back and top is fix. She is very strong and lovely you know " said Yami all the sudden.
"I..I.. never seen a ship like this in my life. I usually see regular ones" said Yugi.
"Aye, but this is a magical ship. You perhaps heard of "The Majestic" right? Since your homeland is best known for its fishing and boat making, you should of heard it among the elder people.
"T-T-th-e Majestic? no way" said yugi, eyes widen of shock.
"Yes, She is that and much more. For I am her captain, My name is Yami de Ominous. I'm a special pirate who works for the Imperial of God, One who worries about the affairs of this world.
"Wow...um my name is Yugi mutoh. My grandfather told me loads of tales of this ship, i never knew it actually existed till now he said softly.
"By any chance lad, was the 3rd dreamer your grandfather?
"Dreamer? What's that?"asked yugi.
"You never heard of that? Odd if your related of the elder man you call grandfather. Guess he never wanted to tell you about his life then said yami, as they went inside the galley. Yugi nodded as he kept following the pirate. "What is it Exactly? he asked, but before the captain answer he was interrupted by someone.
"Captain Yami good news, the boat's repair will end this afternoon. Then she can fly once more"
"That some news Jounouchi. Have ya met the lad? asked yami as the blonde guy look at the direction of the boy. "Um hi said yugi softly remembering seeing this person tell the captain when the ship was under attack.
"Well hello there, you must be the dreamer's grandson huh? Its a pleasure of me to serve and meet someone important" said Jounouchi smiling.
"If I knew what's a dreamer first", said yugi sweatdropping.
"I'll tell you myself but right now its time for food" said yami smiling as he escorted the boy to a table. The cook was making a plate for his captain and guest placing it on the table and off with his chores.
"But...rats muttered yugi. His curiosity never quit on him but remember what his grandfather told him which made him smile. //I'm going to do my best to use this as a skill///
"I hope you don't mind staying with us since your grandfather is gone and you don't have anyone right? asked yami.
"Hai" said yugi silently, picking up his food.
"Im sorry about your lost boy. If we got there earlier, we could of stop them. So i ask for forgiveness...
"You don't have to Captain, It wasn't your fault. This things happen so quickly that neither my grandfather or I noticed it. But I am going to say thank you for rescuing me. I wouldn't be here and the enemy might of killed me just like...then yugi stopped trying to get rid of the image of his grandfather dying.
He then felt a hand lean on his shoulder. "It was no deal, Not only was I doing my task but I couldn't leave you in the boat stranded. After all, Im a good pirate" said Yami smiling.
Yugi blushed and look down," thanks" he said sheepishly.
"Your welcome. So Interested of what a dreamer is? I'll tell you. From what the Great Imperial of God has spoken. There a prophecy that involves 7 special people who are those who can dream. Dreams are rare now adays and most people have forgotten to dream. So we depend on this people for our world will continue to live despite the facts that it needs our help, but...if something happens to them. Then the world that still remains living, gets destroy said Yami softly.
"Oh so...Its there duty to keep us alive? but wouldn't they die anyway, since people age and all said yugi softly.
"Technically true but, they can live on without worrying about their age. These dreamers live as normal people so it is hard to actually know who are they, and well when you choice to be normal its easy that tragedies happen.
"I see...I guess thats why grandpa keep telling me not to worry much. I mean he was one of them. Wow..said yugi happy.
"Aye, But not all of the prophecy has been read since it is mix with different languages and most of it is study by the people who work for the Imperial. I myself read it once, and well i don't fully understand it. I just know the part where it says, " There 7th dreamers, one to complete a dream, to create a single joy or disaster" said yami softly eating his food.
"Hmm must be a metaphor or a hidden message" said yugi thinking about it. "By the way, if each dreamer has a dream what are they? he asked softly. The pirate stop, and look at the boy for a while till his mouth moved, "I don't know. They can't tell anyone their dreams, but I do know that its something good for the people to remember" he said.
"Must be very significant for they not to tell this said yugi, then continue to eat his meal with the pirate. After breakfast yami look up as two pirates appear before him. "Captain word on the news, is that it will take us a few days to reach this town. We have estimated on the supplies and it will last us for awhile so we do need to land as soon as we see it" said a man with blonde hair wearing a bandana. The other pirate nodded looking down at the pirate and yugi, his eyes were the color of blood, hair like the shades of a crystal pendulum, and skin like the snow. Altho he look older he was still young around his mid 20's. The other pirate had violet eyes, tan skin that resemble the shade of sand. Yugi thought they look very cool from the way they were dressed.
"I see guys, hmm..well we be ok so dont worry" said yami smiling. "Oh right, um this is yugi. yugi meet my two personal main pirates on the line. Bakura and Marik.
"Hello said yugi smiling as Bakura look at the captain then back to the boy. "He looks like you captain, only smaller and...innocent like.
Marik chuckled then moved to grab one of the boy's hand for a shake. "Nice to meet you, and my friend here means, welcome to the crew. If you need anything you can ask us, tho be careful we are roady when we drink alot.
Yami smirked, "Yes they like to drink alot and play when noone is around. Hehe but please guys don't involve the boy in your drinking habit.
"We won't, he too young for fun said Bakura smirking as yugi blushed. "Will leave you two alone " as marik and bakura left. "Um are they always this friendly? asked yugi seeing yami blush little.
"Yeah especially when they see younglings but...*cough* anyway let me show you around the ship" he said. Yugi had to admit Yami as a pirate was too much for him, since he knew pirates were tough, evil and not subject to kindness but he didn't care. He liked him the way he is, but for a minute there, yugi thought yami look cute the way he blush. //Yami de Ominous...*sigh* he so cool and handsome// he thought leaving the galley with the pirate.
