Mokuba felt cool fingers brush against his hair. Cool lips brushing his cheek. Cool wetness drizzled down his throat, soothing it.

“I know you’re awake, Mokuba. Listen carefully. The doctor has found a foreign substance in your blood. It deranged you, therefore you are not liable for your action. It is being investigated as an attempt to destroy both of us.”

Mokuba turned towards his voice. “I didn’t take anything.”

“I know, love. But I won’t let you go. I will never let you go. I never would have, but she was merely a means to an end. One that I still have.”

Mokuba smiled and opened his eyes. Cold metal bracelets chained him to the bed. He frowned.

Seto stared at him, his eyes reflecting the aridness of his soul. Seto nodded, “Soon, my love.” Standing up, Seto Kaiba turned and walked out. His dry voice giving orders.

Mokuba licked his lips, finally placing the taste. The sweet taste of candied almonds. Just like the tea last week.

Seto killed his smiled and put on a look of regret as he faced the reporters. “This attack on my brother, this attack on my fiancé, and this attack on myself will not go unpunished.” .

The bright lights shone on him as inside he laughed, everything was exactly as it should be. Mokuba will never be able to leave him after this.
