It was about three days later since Tokomon and Viximon became a part of the Mutou family.

Today was a specail day. Yami and Yuugi did research about digimon and found out a lot.

Strength, weakness, strategy, types, and competition. Yami liked the idea that they were born

fighters. Yuugi liked the idea that they were bound to the first people they see when they are

born. What was specail about Tokomon and Viximon was that they were bound to both Yuugi

and Yami, as well as eachother. The four were bound together, and this would bring about a

great friendship to be remembered.

It was a sunny friday in the park. Yuugi sat in the sand box with Tokomon and played in the

sand.

"Good job Tokomon, the sand castle is almost done, we just need a leaf." Yuugi watch Tokomon

scamper across the ground and found a daisy and nabbed it. Tokomon returned with the daisy and

dropped it next to the make-shift sand castle they made. Yami was sitting up sleeping on a bench

with Viximon nestled and asleep in his lap.

"Hi Yuugi." A shadow cast over Yuugi and Tokomon.

"Hanasaki, I havn't seen you in a while." Yuugi smiled.

"You two huh." Hanasaki pointed at Tokomon.

"You have one to!" Yuugi saw a red dinosaur-like monster with bat wing ears standing behind Hanasaki.

"Your's is so much bigger than mine."

"He's at his third stage." Hanasaki bragged.

"Stage three, mine is only at two." Yuugi said.

"Take real good care of him and he'll change soon, don't look so down." Hanasaki adjusted his glass's.

"Puh!" An even bigger shadow casted over the small boys. "Your monsters are only babies, they wouldn't

stand a chance against mine!"

"Seto what are you doing here, are you taming a digimon too?" Yuugi asked. Yami woke from his nap when

he heard the shrill voice of his rival.

"Where is your digimon?" Hanasaki asked.

"He's too frightening he might scar you pathetic kids." Seto said. "I was looking for someone who had a strong

partner digimon for me to face." He looked over at the bench. "Yami, i'm surprised at you, was that the best you could

come up with?" Seto mocked him, but Yami just starred at him as Viximon woke. "What a pathetic monster, he suits

you perfectly."

"It's a she." Yami corrected him offended.

"Oh that's rich." Seto laughed mockingly as he walked away.

"Ass hole." Yami said as he pat Viximon on her head as she purred.

Yami and Yuugi left the park and headed home. On the way they met up with Mai holding a pink birdlike monster with

spikey blue tiped feathers and red talons coming out of her wings.

"Hey Mai, how are you?" Yuugi asked.

"I'm great, oh dear is your digimon still at level two? Mine is a three, and my Byomon is just darling." Mai said.

"She's very cute." Yuugi said.

"Don't let her cute exterior fool you, she's more than what meets the eye." Mai said. "Well I'll catch you later boys, I

have a hair apointment." Mai walked away.

"She likes birds I see." Yuugi said. "Yami, how come our digimon are still at level two?"

"Maybe it's the way you baby them." Yami said.

"What about you, you and Viximon looked like and old man with a loyal dog." Yuugi said.

"Hmm, let's go home and do somemore research."

"I wonder why Seto was looking his nose down at level three digimon, they look pretty tough to me, compared to

our monsters anyway."

"This game is very adictive, it seems almost every kid has one, see. " Yami pointed at a kid who was holding a

white puppy-looking monster with a gold collar.

"Seto said they battle eachother, I don't want Tokomon getting hurt." Yuugi said.

"It's just a game." Yami said.

"What if Viximon got hurt, would it make you sad if she died?" Yuugi asked. "I remember having another digital pet, I

called U2, I stayed up all night with it when I knew it was going to die, I was very sad about that."

"You love all living things don't you?"

"If it's alive it deserves a good life don't you agree?"

"Sure, I guess." Said Yami looking at Viximon who was purring in his arms.

That night Yami and Yuugi were watching 'The Shining' when the tv started to fizzle out.

"What's going on, I thought Soguraku payed the cable bill." said Yami getting off the couch and pressed a bunch of buttons

on the cable box.

"He did but...." Yuugi watched Tokomon and Viximon glow the same way they did the first time their level changed. "Yami

look at them." Yami turned around, he and Yuugi saw Tokomon change to orange topcoat and white undercoat, his ears

became like the wings of a bat and his stumpy legs now had three stumpy toes on each foot. Yuugi held the device up

to him and read the name on the screen. "Patamon." Then they saw Viximon grow longer and taller and now walked on two

long fox legs, her body was long and sleek, she was tall the same size as Yami, she had long fox ears, and a big bushy

fox tail, and a pointed fox face, and long arms with big fists tiped with hard dark nails, her arms with covered with long

purple gloves, Yin-Yang markings were on her gloves, and she had purple stripes on her knee's. She had a yellow over

coat, and fluffy white undercoat. He held his device up to her and red the name.

"Renamon." he looked at the magestic fox. "She is beautiful." Yami said as Yuugi looked at Patamon who was practicaly

the same size of his Tokomon stage.

"Why is my digimon so dinky?" Yuugi looked disapointed. Patamon screeched at him. "Hey I still like you, I just don't understand

why you are so tiny."

"He's just like you Yuugi, he's little, cute, and bitches like you." Yami said as the Patamon screeched again.

"Don't be mad Patamon I like you like this." Yuugi smiled. Patamon dropped his tude and jumped excided that his tammer really

did like him.
