The Lonely Wizard
Meanwhile far from Cosmic Kingdom and the fair Kingdom was a hidden
castle that belonged to no kingdom. Only one man resided there. He was
a dark wizard dressed in the darkest, blackest robes. His castle was built
of black stones and graphed to the rooves were the scariest stone gargoyles
ever imaginable who sat staring down at the barren woods below. The woods
were full of demons and shadow monsters who were born from the darkness
wich lived inside of the wizard.
"Another day of dwelling in shadows and hiding in dark corners....ugh, so
tiresome, it wouldn't feel so lonely if I had some one here to dwell with."
The wizard lay nude on the cold stone floor, with an impending doom
feeding his depression. "I should leave and ravish something....It seems
destruction and black magic are the only things that make me happy." He
Put on a black robe with a pointed curving hood. "Tonight is snowing in the world
of man." He sighed. "I shall go and destroy that new kingdom that has appeared."
He walked over to his window to look at the cloudy sky of his realm. It never snowed
in his neck of the woods, he didn't allow it. He took his staff from the wall and flew out
the window heading past the barrair wich kept the snow out of his domain.
Once there he entered a saloon that was hidden the woods from lawful authority. The
low lives, thieves, and bounty-heads giving him strange looks even though the acted tough
deep inside they feared him. They dared not too make eye-contact as he sat at the bar.
"Give me the usual." He said to the one-armed, one-eyed, senial old fool of a bar tender.
"The heavy stuff tonight huh?" He laughed. "I Have new news from the Cosmic kingdom."
He said.
"Puh, Why should I be interested in them. That city is full of phoney gypsy's and scam artists."
He looked at the men sitting near him. "Like these theiving idiots here." He said looking at them
with spite. "What's so interesting about Cosmic, no one there knows jack about astrology as much
as they say."
"The word on the street is the young Prince Yuugi is to be wed to Princess Anzu." He whispered.
"Another rumer is said that the prince is missing, a big reward is being offered for his return.
"I must ask old man, what does this Prince look like." Yami asked.
"You want the reward huh, the queen is broke until her son weds the wealthy princess."
"I care not for the money, I am after something more precious."
