Chapter 2- Rescuing Ryou
Ryou entered the nightclub, being careful not to make eye contact with anyone. Bakura had let him have the night off, so he didn’t want anyone to think he was looking for business. He looked around the club, brown eyes hidden behind his white hair, as he searched for something. His eyes found the center stage, and he smiled to himself. He moved towards it, pushing by people, trying to get as close as he could. He saw a man abandon his seat at the bar that encircled the stage, and Ryou stole it before anyone else could. He looked up at his friends, blushing slightly when Yami gave him an amused, and extremely sexy wink, before grabbing Yugi’s backside, and pulling him harder against his hip. Those nearest to the stage cheered loudly when Yugi gasped loudly, his black shirt slipping off of his shoulders and to the floor
Ryou jumped when there was a hand on his shoulder. He turned to look who it was, and cursed. He cursed because he didn’t know the man. But apparently, the man knew him.
“Heard that if someone was lookin’ fer a new friend, you were one of the best.” He slurred. Ryou scowled. He knew he shouldn’t have worn this shirt. It attracted too much attention. It was a tight, sleeveless, low cut, electric blue vinyl shirt, that went well with the tight black vinyl pants he was wearing. Ryou snorted. Forget the shirt, it was probably his stupid hair again, slivery white, standing out like a beacon everywhere he went.
“Gomen.” Ryou said. “Not tonight.” He gasped when the wasted man grabbed his wrists and tried to kiss him, effectively pinning him against the bar. “Let go of me!” Ryou shouted. On the stage, Yami saw this.
//Yugi, koi, Ryou-chan needs us.// He said. Yugi opened his eyes, and followed his Yami’s gaze. He nodded, and pulled back from his Yami (the crowd expressed their disappointment) and began to crawl predatorily to the edge of the stage, towards Ryou. Yami followed, with long, graceful, and definitely suggestive strides. The two reached the edge of the stage, and stepped off onto the bar, on either side of Ryou.
Ryou suddenly noticed that his attacker wasn’t trying to kiss him anymore. He was looking up past Ryou, stupidly. Ryou looked up, and saw Yami and Yugi, both lacking in the shirt department. Both gave him reassuring smiles, and knelt, each taking one of him arms, and pulled him out of the man’s grasp, and onto the bar top between them.
“Work with us, we’re almost done.” Yami muttered in Ryou’s ear, as they pulled him back away from the edge of the stage.
“Nani?” Ryou gasped, thinking that he may have been better off at the bar, when his two friends basically began to feel him up. Yugi disappeared from his line of vision, and he suddenly felt Yami kick one of his feet to the side, effectively spreading his legs (The crowd howled), pulling his back into his chest. Ryou felt his face heat up when Yugi crawled between his legs from behind him, and rested on his knees, leaning his head back into Ryou’s stomach. His arms wrapped around Ryou’s legs, his hands gripping the albino’s calves. Yami wrapped one arm around Ryou’s waist, and the other across his chest. The music reached its finale, and stopped, the lights on them going out. Ryou panted, as Yami and Yugi moved away from him, concealed in the darkness. He felt a hand grab his elbow, and pull him back stage. Yugi smiled at Ryou once they were back there.
“Hi Ryou. How are you?” He asked, cheerfully, and Ryou gave him a dirty look, making Yami chuckle.
“I don’t know whether to kill you or kiss you.” Ryou snarled.
“I’ll gladly take the latter.” Yugi said, winking, while Yami talked to the manager.
“You can both have bonuses, tonight.” The manager was saying. “You not only made up for Tsukira, but you stopped a bad scene pulling that kid away from that guy. And you did all that while still keeping your pants on!”
“We were just helping a friend.” Yami said, though he took the rolled up bills anyway.
“Friend?”
“Good friend.”
“Oh. Pretty hot. He looking for a job?” The manager asked, eyeing Ryou’s body in a way that made Yami scowl.
“Iie.” Yami said, firmly, and moved back over to Yugi and Ryou. He split the bonus three ways, pocketing one third, and giving the rest to Yugi and Ryou. “That’s for the trouble we caused you.” Yami told Ryou.
“Iie, Yami. That’s all right. I can make more than enough for Bakura and me.” He said. Yami and Yugi frowned, not liking how Ryou and Bakura made their money. “He gave me the night off, so I came to see you.”
“Not Malik and Marik?”
“Heh. Who do you think Bakura’s with?” Ryou chuckled, making the multi-color haired boys grin. The two Moutos pulled on leather jackets, and back packs, then led Ryou through a hidden door in the wall, and came out into the club. Ryou followed Yugi and Yami over to the bar, where Yami got a beer, and shared it with Yugi. Ryou jumped when yet again, there was a hand on his shoulder. He whirled.
“Oh, Otogi. Hey.” He said, to the familiar smile.
“Hey Ryou. Yugi, Yami.”
“Otogi.” Yami said, before taking a long pull at the beer bottle.
“Hey! Don’t hog it!” Yugi snapped, snatching the bottle from Yami.
“Nan desu ka, Otogi-chan?” Ryou said, knowing the look on Otogi’s face.
“Joey got a letter.” He said. “From Seto.” Yami and Yugi turned their attention fully on Otogi. “He’s coming back.”
“Itsu?” Yami asked, trying to get the beer bottle form Yugi.
“According to Joey, he’s already here.” Otogi said, and Yami shouted when Yugi spat out his beer.
“Nani?!?”
“He should have arrived at ten.” Otogi said, glancing at the clock that read 1:24.
“How long is he staying?” Yugi asked.
“He’s back for good, Yugi.” Otogi said, confiscating Yugi and Yami’s beer, and finishing it off quickly.
“Have you told the others?” Ryou asked.
“Iie. I don’t know where to find them.”
“Bakura’s with Malik and Marik.” Ryou said. “Maybe you should let me tell them.” Ryou smirked. “They wouldn’t mind as much if I walked in on them. You on the other hand…” Otogi, Yami and Yugi rolled their eyes.
“They’d probably pounce on you and ravage you in the doorway, Ryou.” Yami chuckled. Ryou smiled.
“Hey, Ryou, you wanna go get something to eat. I know clubs make you nervous.” Yugi said. Ryou nodded, gratefully. “You wanna come, Otogi?”
“Iie. Tristan’s waiting outside.” He said, and the four boys left the club. Tristan sat on his motorcycle, and smiled when Otogi came over to him.
“Jinsoku?” He asked, kissing his boyfriend’s cheek.
“Hai.” Otogi said, climbing on behind Tristan. Tristan waved to Yugi, Yami and Ryou, and revved up the machine, then roared down the street. Yugi and Yami walked down the street, with Ryou between them. They headed towards the sushi bar a few blockr away.
“I wonder why Kaiba’s back.” Ryou said, suddenly.
“I don’t know.” Yami said. “But it will be good to see him.”
“Duel him, you mean.” Yugi teased, and Yami grinned.
“That too.” He said, nodding. Ryou suddenly yelped, as he felt a sharp pinch on his backside. He whirled, to glare at a group of middle age men.
“Where’s Bakura?” one of them asked. Yami and Yugi stopped, and turned, to see what was going on.
“I don’t know.” Ryou answered. “He let me have the night off.” He knew the group of men all to well. They were some of the more regular people that Bakura did business with, and Ryou just happened to be the business.
Around the time Yami and Yugi had gotten their jobs at the night club, Bakura and Ryou began prostituting. Usually together, so Bakura could keep and eye on Ryou. But after a while, Bakura began to just sell Ryou, as opposed to himself.
“Well,” a voice drew Ryou out of his thoughts. “He owes me a favor. Maybe you can repay it for him, huh?” One of the men said, touching Ryou’s face.
“Take it up with him.” Ryou said, stepping away, and walking after Yami and Yugi. They entered the sushi bar, and sat down.
