Seto Kaiba
Chapter Two- Seto Kaiba
Kagome sat on a soft couch, feeling unsure of herself. She’d just met four men, four very strange men. One them entered the room and she jumped as she looked up. She sat, frozen. ‘Oh God, what have I gotten myself into..’ she wondered. Unexpectedly, the man smiled. She tried to smile back, but couldn’t even pull herself together enough to do that. It wasn’t exactly her fault. Coe on, she’d just been transported to yet another world that wasn’t her own.
~Flashback~
Kagome exited the well, still pissed at Inu-Yasha. ‘Damn him,’ she thought. ‘I stayed with him for two years, even helped him when he was hurt. I put up with him for so long because of my feelings…And now look what that jerk has done to me. That ass hole completely disregarded me..And for who? A dead bitchy slut who tried to kill him and me God knows how many times…’ She sighed and shook her head, now feeling ashamed. She hadn’t exactly been friendly to the poor guy lately..She shook her head furiously. ‘No Kagome, do not think like that. This whole thing is totally that fucker’s fault.’
She looked up, wondering why she didn’t hear anyone calling her. Her eyes widened in disbelief at what she saw. Rather than the wellhouse, there were trees everywhere, and a path along through them. ‘Stay calm.’ She ordered herself. ‘You’ve been in this situation before..when you first met Inu-Yasha…the fucker who betrayed you for a dead whore.’ She frowned and slapped herself. Jesus…why did everything seem to come back to that ass? She sighed. It was somewhat her fault. She was in love with him, and had been for the past year. ‘Well, I’m shit outta’ luck now.’
Slowly, she started down the trail. Twenty minutes later she came out in a city. She looked around for something helpful. She saw a large building where everyone seemed to be going. ‘Worth a shot.’ She figured, and started towards it.
Once inside, Kagome spotted four men in the center of the room. Well, one wasn’t a man, he was a child still.
The first man was tall, too tall. He had short brown hair, and piercing blue eyes. He looked angry, as if something awful had happened.
The next had long black hair, that wasn’t sure if it was curly or straight. A mixture from the look of it. His eyes were green and friendly. It appeared he was trying to reason with the first man.
The third man was standing by the second. He was shorted than both, but looked over eighteen. His hair was like the second’s, yet rather than being black, it was multicolored. She noticed, black, blond, and a reddish color. And his eyes were also fascinating. She’d never seen violet eyes before. He also appeared to be attempting to calm the first.
The last was short, and the child. His hair was straight, long, and black. His eyes were a cold gray. But he wasn’t actually doing anything.
Kagome stepped forward. “Hi, I’m looking for some help.” She said in a soft voice. She smiled when the first three turned to look at her. The last did also, but he wasn’t too interested. The first simply shrugged, but then he actually looked at her and his eyes went wide. The second smiled warmly. And the third, looked rather unsure of himself.
“I’m Duke Devlin,” said the one with black hair and green eyes. “Kagome Higurashi,” she introduced herself. But she didn’t look away from the tall one. Her eyes were locked to his, taking his face in, memorizing it. “Seto Kaiba,” he said, returning her gaze. “How can we help you?” asked the third. “My name’s Yami Yugi by the way.” Kagome finally tore her gaze from Kaiba’s, and looked at Yami. “I’m lost. I’m not exactly from around here. And to tell the truth, I don’t even know where I am.” The last one finally spoke up. “I’m Mokuba Kaiba, Seto’s younger brother.” She smiled at him. “I’ll help you.” Said Kaiba quietly. “I’ve never met someone who looked just as beautiful as you do this moment.” She giggled. “You can all help me, as I said, I’ll be needing a lot of help.”
~End flashback~
So now she was sitting in this room, with all four of them watching her. Duke, Yami, and Kaiba, she could tell, were interested in her. Mokuba was only twelve, so she doubted it mattered to him. “Well guys,” she began. “I suppose I should explain a bit more.” They nodded at her. She sighed before beginning her story.
