Chapter Two: Gym
Kaiba stopped her outside of teh girls' locker room, "The Blue Eyes is yous to keep."
She smiled shyly, "Thanks....um....Kaiba?"
"Yeah?"
"Could you and the others save a place for me on your team?"
"Of course, we'll be waiting for you."
She walked into the locker room and quickly changed onto the normal gym uniform of shorts and a skin tight white shirt. The others girls were just going in when she ran out and over to where the others were sitting.
Yugi perked up, "So what do you think about this school so far?"
"The school's o.k., but hte friends are great."
He smiled, "We could show you around town after school?"
Joey smirked, "Yeah if we can ditch Tea, I get the impression she doesn't care for you."
She looked down, "What did I do to her?"
Yamt ant an arm around her shoulder, "You didn't do anything, she's just a possessive bitch, so don't pay her any mind." Yami's skin tingled where he touched her and the Millenium puzzle pulsed agaisnt him.
"Thanks, that makes me feel a little better."
The other students filed out and lined up most of teh guys sitting closer to Yugi and the gang. The teacher came in and froze when his eyes rested onElizabeth. "You must be the new student....Miss Kuragari ?"
"Yes sir."
"My name is Mr. Yuriko, Now you chose a good day to join us, today we are having a game day....Now since you are new, you may choose whichever team you wish to be on."
"Sir, I'd prefer to be on Yugi's team, if that's all right with you."
"That'll be fine....Now what game would you like to play?"
"Is dodge ball o.k.?"
"Dodge ball it is, everyone to either side of the gym." He laid ten balls along the mid-line of the gym and Tea's eyes gleamed angrily.
Yugi and Yami were on wither side of her, waiting for the whistle. When it sounded no one saw her move, but Elizabeth Suddenly had three balls in her hands and handed one to Yugi and one to Yami. Balls were flying everywhere, but Tea was waiting for the perfect shot and she took it......right as Yami stepped in front of Elizabeth.
"Don't worry Yami, I'll catch one and get you beack in the game!" She smiled softly as he sat on the benches, Tea threw antoehr ball at her only higher, this time she caught it. "You're out Tea, Yami and everyone else on our team back in here!"
Kaiba smirked as he heard some of the nasty things Tea was mumbling and noticed that no one was really trying to catch a ball....they were all too busy staring at Elizabeth's chest.
"Heads up Kaiba!" He looked up just in time to see a ball coming right at his head and he cringed waiting for the impact. He got knocked backwards and thought 'there's no way that ball missed my face.' "Safe!" He heard an amised voice from directly in front of his face and opened his eyes to see laughing silver ones, only inches from his. She slid off of him and offered him a hand, "You're supposed to catch the ball....not just wait for it to hit you." She tossed him the ball and continued on with the game, Kaiba's face softened with a smile.
"I'll try to remember that."
She winked teasingly, "You do that, Kaiba-chan."
Yami watched closely as she threw ball after ball at the opposing team and noticed she was hardly using any effort, b ut the balls were still hitting pretty hard. Yugi froze for a minute when Elizabeth's shirt went up revealing a snowy white stomach and a silver star ring in her navel.
"Yugi watch out!" He shook his head and saw a ball coming straight at him at an incredible speed. A blur of silver later he was lying on the ground, surrounded by a river of silver hair. "Ow..." Everyone froze as Elizabeth got up, holding a ball to her stomach, and handed it to Yami.
"Elizabeth are you alright?" Yami was concerned as he threw the ball blindly and ran to her side.
She nodded and held out a hand to Yugi, "I'm fine, how about you Yugi?"
Yugi winced as he grabbed her hand and was hauled to his feet, "Yeah, I'm o.k." He looked at her shirt, "Um, Elizabeth...I think you're bleeding."
The others looked and saw her quickly cover her stomach, eyes wide, "Excuse me." She ran into the s' ls' locker room and five minutes later Yugi and Yami followed.
"Elizabeth....Are you o.k. in here?"
She came out of a bathroom stall, dressed in her original ces, es, "I'm fine, ot was just a small tear by by navel ring." She smirked suddenly, "What ARE you doing in the girls' locker room?"
Yugi and Yami looked at each other with wide eyes, "Oooops."
They all walked out to find Mr. Yuriko waiting with his hands on his hips, "Would you like to explain yourselves Yugi and Yami?"
Elizabeth stepped in front of them, "Um, sir, they were checking on me, you see that last hit kind of ripped my navel ring a little and well they noticed I was bleeding...."
"But you're all right now?"
"Yes, I'm fine."
Joey came forward, "Whoa, you's gotta belly button ring?"
"Um....yeah."
Kaiba and some of the other guys and girls crowded closer, Kaiba spoke up, "Care to show the class?"
She lifted her shirt just above her belly button showing the silver star clearly and getting a few 'oohs and ahs.' The bell rang loudly, making a couple of peoplep anp and they all went to their respective classes. Yugi and the gand going to their math class; which is also the same class Elizabeth had next. She sat between Yugi and Yami again and was having a conversation with everyone when a 30-ish, short, kind looking old math teacher walked in.
A.N.: SO what did ya this iis it going good so far?
