Wolves Night Tale

Yugi: Well, once again, Zypher left me to do the author notes again so here the next chapter to Wolf’s Rain, Yugioh style.

*The scene showed a city that was abandoned and flooded and the scene changed to the inside of a castle like building where a brown haired man stood by a blonde haired teen laying on a platform silently, a ruby haired man looking at another platform where another golden haired teen lied, the man running slim figures through the golden locks of the teen he was standing by just as a servant came in*

Servant: Lord Seto, Lord Ruby, a wolf has appeared, in the Dondus city to the North. They have not been seen till the passing into legend 200 years ago.

Ruby: Yes, you were but a child then.

Seto: The flower prince. Has he awoken?

Servant: So it would seem.

*Seto placed a hand on the teen’s cheek and caressed it softly*

Seto: Jounouchi, very soon you will awaken as well, my love and so will you Kaiser.

*the screen went black and switched to a scene with Yugi still half awoken as scientists continued to study him*

Kinoya: Anything on the Curleon?

Female scientist: Spectral radiation unchanged.

Kinoya: Any response to the tests?

Female scientist: None, just as we suspected.

Kinoya: So he’s been awake this whole time?

Female scientist: Yes, although he appears to be rather calm now. The data indicates that he’s still in fairly excited state.

Male scientist: *answers the phone and looks to Kinoya* Doctor Fadedishu, you got a call. inoyinoya: Who is it?

Male scientist: It’s your husband.

Kinoya: *looks to him*

Male scientist: I mean, your ex-husband.

Kinoya: *coughs lightly*

Male scientist: *sighs* Detective Fedoren is on line 1.

Kinoya: Yes, what is it?

Raxades: Come on Kinoya, does it really matter what title they call me by?

Kinoya: Just tell me what you want.

Raxades: There’s something I need you to see.

Kinoya: So what did you catch this time? An elephant?

*the scene switched to a different room in the center where Raxades uncovered an unconscious boy*

Kinoya: Sorry. Humans aren’t really my specialty.

Raxades: He was one of the kids invd ind in the warehouse theft. He fell from the roof while trying to escape.

Kinoya: *she looked at the boy closely* Are these…tooth marks from a dog?

Raxades: The wounds are still pretty fresh. What do you think?

Kinoya: Are you trying to tell me that dog that escaped did this?

Raxades: I don’t know. I should have taking mold of its teeth when I had the chance to.

Kinoya: I wonder why it hasn’t been found yet? With a dog that big running wild around the city, you think someone would have reported it.

Raxades: Maybe they are trying to deceive us.

Kinoya: Huh?

Raxades: Well, forget it, it’s impossible.

Kinoya: Oh Raxades. Am I down here just cause you wanted to see me?

Raxades: Maybe, just a little.

Kinoya: You never change, do you.

*she looked to the case and found traces of fur and then looked to the cage where Yami was held silently. Then the scene changed into a raven filled alley and two wolves came from behind the corner and the brown eyed wolf ran at the birds but was pecked on the muzzle and backed away into a cat which hissed at him and he ran behind a crate, the other wolf running behind him quietly and peeked her head out from the side of the crate and then they both heard the sound of people walking by and the brown eyed wolf looked up and saw a girl walking by and a potato dropped of of her bag and he went to eat it but ran back to the corner as she came up and took the potato, placing it back in her bag*

Cecilia: *looks to them and took some sausage from her bag, holding it out to them* Here, try some of these, they taste better.

*the brown eyed wolf whimpered stly*tly*

Cecilia: Come on, you can have them, you two are hungry aren’t you?

*the two wolves came from behind the wall and walked over to her. The dark blue eyed wolf sniffed the sausage and stepped back when she heard one of the crows*

Cecilia: Don’t be afraid.

*The dark blue eyed wolf sniffed the sausage again*

Cecilia: They’re not poison or anything. *she took a bite out of one and held it back out to them* See, it’s fine.

*the wolf sniffed it again and licked it before taking it from Cecilia, turning to the other wolf and gave him some to eat and Cecilia watched them quietly*

Cecilia: Where did you two come from? If you wander around here too long, the dog catcher will get you for sure.

*the brown eyed wolf licked her hand softly and she petted him under his chin, making him mewl softly*

Cecilia: You sure are warm, aren’t you boy?

Cecilia’s father: Cecilia!

Cecilia: *she looked to her father and then back to the two wolves, petting the brown eyed wolf on the head softly* Bye now. *she started walking away by the wolves followed her* No, stay. Sorry you two, even if you followed me home, I couldn’t keep you two.

*they stopped and sat down on the ground, looking to her*

Cecilia: Well that’s funny, it’s almost like you two could understand me. *she looked to them sadly as she ran up the steps* I’m sorry.

*the scene then switched to an alley where one man was running but was caught by the guards that were after him and then the scene showed two woman talking to each other*

Woman 1: Did you hear, someone saw a wolf in town? Can you believe it?

Woman 2: What is this world coming to?

*the dog beside Woman 1 raised his head and then whimpered, hiding behind the woman’s legs as Yami, Joey and Aqua walked by and pass a small market where Joey looked to a hot dog stand while Yami and Aqua walked into an alley, Joey following behind*

Joey: See, what I tell you, nobody notices us. *sits down and took out three hotdogs, throwing one to Yami and Aqua as he ate his o

Yami:oks oks to it and sniffs it before taking a bite out of it* This is awful.

Joey: That’s the best you could get around here. If I see a deer loping by I’ll be sure to catch it for you. *finishes the rest of his hotdog*

Aqua: *looked to him befeatieating his hotdog, looking up to some birds that flew by*

Joey: the Nobles are at it again, seemse the they pick up one idiot after another.

Aqua: Where do the troops take them once they’re caught?

Joey: Well, the same place they took you and Aqua, I guess.

Yami: That’s perfect.

Joey: Huh?

Yami: I’ll blend in and sneak inside.

Joey: What? But we had to fool them just to get out of there. That hotdog fried your brain.

Yami: I’m going back in.

Joey: Now wait a second, what the hell happened to Paradise?

Yami: Look, the scent is coming from somewhere inside that building. And as far as we can tell, the only way in is to get captured. *looks to Joey* You know what’s there, don’t you? What they’re hiding behind those walls? The beacon that will lead us to Paradise.

Joey: Well, forget it. You’ll never get close to Yugi.

Yami: Yugi?

Joey: The flower prince that was created from Lunar flowers. That’s what they say anyway. But listen, It’s useless. They got that place locked down. Even I could have gotten as for as the lab.

Aqua: So then, why did you try to sneak in there then?

Joey: For a little excitement I guess.

Yami: Joey, don’t you believe in Paradise too?

Joey: I’m not going. No way.

Aqua: *he got up and looked to him before walking away* Alright. See ya around.

Joey: *looks up* Hey Aqua.

Yami: *follows behind Aqua*

Joey: Try to give a guy advice and what does it get ya. See if I care. *layck ack again*

*the scene switches to Bakura and Crimson sitting on the roof of another building, having a brief flashback of Noah falling from the pipe after the raid, the rest of his crew standing behind him*

Man 1: They say the nobles are putting a bounty on every gang in the city.

Bakura: Is that so?

Man 2: Yeah, they already started tund und people up. And otufftuff’s been kinda high profiled lately. We figured we’re next. Maybe, it’s time we should move on. There’s a freight train pulling out of town at midnight. We can sneak on…

Bakura: Our next raid is going to be tonight.

*the others looked to him*

Crimson: Make the usual preparations.

Chen: Why? So you can just sit back and watch? Noah’s dead because ou. Yu. You let him die.

*Bakura and Crimson turned to look back at them*

Chen: Sorry pal, but I ain’t working with you anymore. I wouldn’t want to slow you down now would I?

Bakura: Suit yourself *he gets up* We’ll meet up at midnight. Get the word out. *starts walking away, Crimson following behind him*

Chen: Phff.

*the scene switches to the lab where Kinoya was talking to Raxades over the phone*

Kinoya: We analyzed the dog hairs from both cages and they don’t seem to match the ones on the corpse. There’s a fourth set of hairs yet unidentified.

Raxades: A fourth set?

Kinoya: As far as we can tell, there were two types of hair around the cage.

Raxades: What the hell is going on. There isn’t anywhere for them to hide.

Kinoya: You ok? You’re not acting like yourself. No offense, but I thought you didn’t like dogs, and to be honest, you starting to sound a little obsessed.

Raxades: I’m not obsessed Kinoya. Don’t worry, I’m probably just looking for another excuse to see you.

Kinoya: *sighs and hangs the phone up*

Raxades: It may be time to track down that guy.

*Gozuboro took out a bottle that was in a bag and took a drink from it, Crystal sitting beside him and he looked down to her*

Gozuboro: Listen up Crystal, I know you can understand me, you can’t let them get away, wolves are evil, they’ll kill you when they get the chance. Right now they’re laying low somewhere, breathing their foul demon’s breath.

*the scene changed to Ryou and Diamond in their human form as they looked around a corner and saw Cecilia and Ryou lied back on a pillar, Diamond standing beside him but Cecilia walked past them and Ryou looked up before running over to Cecilia*

Ryou: Uh, thanks a lot. From before.

Cecilia: *looks to him* Huh?

Ryou: For the sausages.

Cecilia: Uh?

Diamond: *run up to them* Well, remember back in the alley? Well, that was our dogs you gave them to.

Cecilia: Those beautiful dogs belong to you two?

Ryou: That beautiful...uh yeah! Yeah, they’re ours.

Cecilia: But how did you two know about it?

Ryou: Uh, we heard it from a lady at the store.

Cecilia: What’s their names anyway?

Diamond: A name? *laughs softly* Their name are Ryou and Diamond.

Cecilia: Ryou and Diamond? *laughs softly also* Those are weird names.

Ryou: You think so? Yeah, I guess it is.

Cecilia: My name is Cecilia, what’s yours?

Ryou: She just said it was Ryou and Diamond.

Cecilia: I thought that was your dogs’ names?

Ryou: Uh, , we, we’re a lot alike so we decided to name them after ourselves.

Cecilia: You two are pretty weird alright.

*Ryou and Diamond laughs softly as the screen goes black*

*The scene then show Bakura and Crimson walking through an alley and stopped, hiding behind a corner as they watched some guards leading people into the trucks and then saw Yami and Aqua being led inside*

Bakura: Tch.

*he walked away as Crimson followed behind him as the trucks started leaving and the scene switched to Ryou and Diamond walking through another alley laughing softly and then they met up with Bakura and Crimson and looked up to them*

Ryou: *shocked* You’re both are another one, just like us.

Crimson: Move it kid.

*Bakura and Crimson were about to walk away until Gozuboro showed up in the alley and Crystal stopped and looked to them and so did Gozuboro*

Gozuboro: Hm, did you find something?

*Bakura and Crimson jumps away and both Ryou and Diamond were frozen on the spot as they watched Gozuboro as he dropped the bottle took his gun out and cocked it before walking to them*

Gozuboro: Boy. No you’re not a boy.

* Gozuboro’s eyesight started to blur slightly as he continued walking to them and then saw them as their true form and his eyes widens hes he pointed to gun towards them and they closed their eyes but Bakura jumped back down, knocking the gun from Solomon’s hand and dodged Crystal’s bite at him and looked to them*

Bakura: Jump.

Diamond: Huh?

Bakura: Hurry up!

Ryou: We we’re getting ready to!

*they both did a backflip onto a window ledge and started jumping up to the roof as Bakura followed behind them and Solomon could only watched as they disappeared onto the roof and looked to the claw marks on his hand*

Gozuboro: That was them. *looks up* I finally found them.

*the scene switched to Bakura and Crimson walking across a bridge and both Ryou and Diamond running behind them before they started walking behind*

Ryou: Who the heck was that? *looks back* And what’s up with his dog?

Bakura: We’ve no idea.

Ryou: *looks to Bakura* Hey, you’re Bakura and Crimson right. This is a first for us. We never met a wolf, I mean other than ourselves.

*Bakura and Crimson just kept walking*

Ryou: We heard rumors about you two from the crows though, they say you two make friends with humans and run wild with them.

Bakura: You heard wrong, we don’t have friends.

Ryou: My name’s Ryou and she’s Diamond. Thanks for the help back there.

*Bakura and Crimson took a glance back to them*

Diamond: You know what, we’ve been living with humans our whole life too…

Crimson: Just get lost, will ya? We’re getting pissed off and that only happens when we’re around idiots.

Ryou: But, can’t we come with you two?

Crimson: No. *he and Bakura walked off* You can’t.

*they continued to walk and them Bakura looked behind them to see they were gone and the scene switched to a jail where Yami and Aqua was held and then they guards let in more people and Joey came in with them*

Joey: *looks to them* Yo. *sits between them*

Yami: Joey, what in the world are you doing in here?

Joey: Come on, we’re friends now aren’t we?

Aqua: Coming from you, that sounds kinda fishy.

*the scene switched to Cecilia’s home and a falcon flew onto her shoulder and she fed him before he flew out the window, Ryou and Diamond peeking out from behind a tree before following him and then Ryou attacked it by accident and then looked up when he heard Cecilia running to them and held the dead bird as he ran over to her, Diamond trying to stop him*

Ryou: Cecilia!

*Cecilia stopped and looked to him*

Ryou: *places her bird into her arms* Here, I found your bird.

Cecilia: *looks down to her bird and saw it was dead*

Ryou: *nudges her bird slightly and saw it wasn’t moving* Hey, wake up? *looks up to her* Cecilia?

Cecilia: He’s dead. My bird’s dead.

Ryou: But I…I didn’t mean to kill him, I swear.

Cecilia: *steps back from him*

Ryou: *starts to cry as he kneeled down on the ground, Diamond walking up behind him and did the same, placing a hand on his back* I knew it was yours and I just wanted to…

Cecilia: *continued to stare at them*

Ryou: *looks up to her with tears in his eyes* I didn’t think it would die. *continued to cry as he became his true form and howled, Diamond standing beside him also in her true form*

*Bakura and Crimson were walking across the roof of a building and then they heard Ryou howling and looked down to see that they were in their wolf forms in front of Cecilia and ran down, grabbing then by the scruff of their neck and dragged them off, Cecilia standing in the same place as she found out who Ryou and Diamond really were and the scene changed to a building where Bakura and Crimson were staying*

Ryou: I never meant to kill anything.

Bakura: *looks out the window silently*

Diamond: Granny, she…we were all alone at the entrance to the dome and she was so nice to us. She said we were so little, our eyes barely opened. *she held out a pendant that looked like a bell* She gave this to us. And we lived together ever since

Crimson: *in another part of the room* So you mean she kept you two as pets. That human tamed you both. You were nothing more than obedient dogs.

Ryou: We wasn’t! *starts to cry a bit*

*Crimson and Bakura looked to him*

Ryou: We...we only wanted to protect her, but she still…

Bakura: She still threw you two out?

Diamond: She still died. She died. We let her die. *buries her head into her knees as Bakura heard someone walking to their door and the scene changed to Solomon meeting up with Raxades*

Gozuboro: *opens the door* Well, look who it is. Detective dandy.

Raxades: I need to ask you some questions.

Gozuboro: And there’s something you need to see.

*He looked to him as the scene changed to Bakura and Crimson talking with Zetto*

Bakura: Zetto…

Zetto: No one is going to come.

Crimson: Then why are you here?

Zetto: I’m leaving after this. Bakura, Crimson, you’re just to different from the rest of us. *starts to walk away*

*Bakura and Crimson watched as he left and then looked up when they heard and Noble ship pass overhead and the scene came back to the jail where Yami, Aqua and Joey were awake*

Yami: *wakes up* Did you fehat?hat?

Joey: *wakes up also* Feel what?

Yami: This isn’t right, something’s going to happen.

Joey: *sniffs the air* I don’t smell anything. Except for the mildew.

Yami: It’s getting closer.

Aqua: So you wanna break out of here?

Yami: Yeah.

*they get up quickly and went to the bars of their cell and Yami was about to pull the bars open like before but Aqua tapped his shoulder and he looked back to him as he pulled a key to their cell from his hair and the scene changed to Kinoya who was laying on her desk, sleeping and a scientist shook her shoulder softly*

Male scientist: Doctor. Doctor Fadedishu.

Kinoya: *wakes up* Oh, is it that late already? Did something happen?

Male scientist: no ma’am, there has been no change yer a r a while now so I thought you might want to call it a night.

Kinoya: I’m too pretty to look like this. *her eyes widened as the alarm went off*

Male scientist: What the hell?

*she ran off the see what happened as a dark figure walked into the lab, a guard knocked unconscious and the scene switched over to Yami, Aqua and Joey running through the hall and stood beside a wall as a guard came by but they climbed through the air vent just as he made it around the corner and the scene came to Kinoya who was checking over Yugi*

Kinoya: Everything fine, the lab’s power supply is independent from the main power grid. *looks behind her to the dark figure that entered, the scientist that was with her on the floor*

Dark figure: Yes, I know. Yugi, is not vital to you. Is that correct?

Kinoya: *turned to him as she tries to look for something* Who are you?

Dark figure: *walks up to her* everyone is resting now, you look exhausted as well.

Kinoya: *still looks to him*

Dark figure: so tired, you should rest a while.

*the dark figure start to take off his mask and Kinoya continued to look at him but fall unconscious as well as she saw the eye of a wolf in the patch the figure was wearing over his left eye and he walked up to the sphere Yugi was held in*

Dark figure: It’s been a long while, Yugi.

*Yugi opened his eyes completely*

Dark figure: You can sense my presence, can’t you, but your eyes do not see me. There is nothing to fear, you are awake now, at last.

*heced ced a hand over to controls and the solution started draining out*

Dark figure: We can finally set out on our journey.

*Yugi started to cough as the solution continued to drain out and Aqua kicked the grate to the air vent out and they jumped out from the air vent*

Aqua: This way.

*they started heading for the lab as the dark figure carried Yugi out from the lab and he looked to them as they stopped under the pillar he was walking over and the screen went black*

Zypher Dragon: Well, there’s the end to the next chapter, hope you will read and review.

Ryou: Zypher, you’re forgetting something again.

Zypher Dragon: Oh yeah, I meant to do this in the first chapter but I forgot, since in all my other stories, my original charrs ars are mostly a human like animal, I changed them into a human form for this story so I need to explain how they looked.

Aqua: A 18 year old boy with midnight black hair that reaches mid back and wears ripped jeans, a black shirt and black boots.

Diamond: A 14 year old girl with snow white hair and wears a white fishnet shirt with a silver shirt under it and a pair a cargo pants and white knee high boots.

Ruby: A 35 year old man with ruby red hair, a patch over his left eye and wears a black robe with designs stitched in red thread and black boots.

Sapphire: A 30 year old man with ocean blue hair tied into a braid, a scar marring his right cheek and wears a black and blue striped shirt and black pants and a bltrentrench coat with red buckles over it.

Crimson: a 20 year old boy with obsidian black hair the reaches up to his neck and wears a black leather shirt and pants that are ripped at the ends.

Crystal: a 19 year old girl with icy blue hair and crystal like eyes. Wears a white shirt and black jeans with a leather jacket tied around her waist and a blue scarf.

Kaiser: A 25 year old teen with golden blond hair that reached down to mid back and light brown eyes.

Zypher Dragon: And also, before I end the chapter for good, I’ll tell you the difference between Joey and Jounouchi.

Joey: He looks the same as he does in Yu-Gi-Oh.

Jounouchi: Has longer hair that reaches down pais kis knees and golden eyes.
