Welcome to My World...

Warning: Disturbing content... wheeeee... Yami settled into his work, working through the night tirelessly, sharp eyes darting over pages of paperwork. After a while, he pushed away from his desk and turned to watch Seto sleep, a permanently contented expression set in place on his face. Then, around 5 AM, the phone rang, startling the youthful looking CEO out of his stupor. He walked over the answer the call, expression sobering as he did. "Mm?" Seto stirred in his sleep at the sound of the phone, beginning to wake up slowly. 'Yami...' He opened bleary eyes, looking around and frowning slightly when he saw Yami and the expression he wore. Yami set the phone back on the hook after a moment, his worried expression slowly melting into something almost resembling anticipation. He heard Seto stir and went over to him, crawling into bed with him easily. "Did I wake you?" he asked softly, tracing the lines of Seto's face. "Mm, the phone..." Seto muttered, still half-asleep. "Why were you frowning, love? Somethin' wrong?" "Could be," Yami said, then smiled. "But it could end up being fun, and I'm only worrying for nothing." "Mm, I hope it ends up being fun..." Seto smiled sleepily, the expression surprisingly sweet. Yami's lips strayed to Seto's once more. "Hmm, me too." He grinned. "Do you know what a dunpeal is?" he questioned, looking curious, as he supported himself on one elbow beside Seto. Seto rubbed at his eyes for a moment, becoming more awake. "I think... a half-vampire?" Yami nodded. "Yes. Sometimes when someone is turned, their mind doesn't accept it as well as their body," he explained. "And they will very often try and get rid of their purer brothers," he added, a slight growl in his voice. "The more powerful the vampire, the more persistent they become." Seto shook his head. "One's coming after you, right? Because you're so powerful?" "One of my trackers just called him in," Yami said, nodding. "So he could either be a nuisanr a r a genuine challenge. I'm going to observe the situation from a distance for a while. Through my trackers." "All the more reason to get Mokuba safely tucked away," Seto sighed, sitting up. "Which is why I told Yuugi to go ahead and get him, bring him here." Yami crossed his arms once he sat up as well. "Better safe than sorry, Seto," he said reassuringly. "He could end up being some punk... they usually are when their targets are older than the dirt they walk on," he said, his voice lightening up some more. Seto snorted softly, giving Yami an amused look. "For being older than dirt, you certainly don't look it." His expression turns thoughtful. "Since I'm so much younger than you, I suppose I could be referred to as 'jailbait'..." Yami grinned widely. "Mm, I suppose so, and you know I feel so bad about taking advantage of your youth," he said bemusedly. "I think youth is highly attractive when paired with knowledge and wit like yours." Seto grinned, leaning over to nip at Yami's neck. "I'm glad you find it attractive, 'cause you're stuck with me..." "I wouldn't have it any other way," Yami said, tilting his head upwards. "Hmm, I suppose I should see if there's anything you can wear here. Seeing as Yuugi will be here with your brother soon. Unless you want to appear like that in front of my tracker, I wouldn't want to have to kill him for looking." Seto laughed. "No, it'd embarrass Mokuba too much...Besides, your tracker is too useful to kill because they appreciated what they saw..." He grinned playfully. Yami smirked. "But I'm a vampire, dear, I can't just let someone get away with that," Yami said, going over to his clothes to look around for something. "Who knows, there could be something in here. Or you could borrow the butler's uniform. It might fit," he said amusedly. Seto snorted softly. "I'm not going to wear a butler's uniform, love." "It's either that or..." Yami held up a pair of loose slacks. "You think these will fit you?" he asked. He shrugged, looking some more. "Hmm, here's something... your pants aren't in too bad of shape, are they?" "No, the pants are fine," Seto shrugged, crawling out of the bed to retrieve his pants from the floor, pulling them on. "Its just the shirt I'm lacking..." "Well then," Yami said, holding up a black silk button down. "This looks big enough," he said, walking forward to give it to Seto, a smile on his face. "Though it may not be," he added, running one finger down Seto's well built chest. "Hmm..." Seto pulled the shirt on, finding it a little tight around the shoulders. He grinned down at Yami, kissing him softly, playfully. "Hmm, will you kill your tracker for admiring my *clothed* body as well? If you do that to everyone who likes what they see, the human populace will suddenly be cut down by quite a lot..." "Well, for the most part, it wouldn't be any loss," Yami said, returning the kiss and then some. "Though I do have a few human friends I'd like to keep around..." he noted, trailing off and looking as though he were deep in thought. This was broken abruptly by the sound of a bell ringing, from very far away. "Ah, he's here." Seto buttoned up his shirt, chuckling softly. "We should go meet him, then." He nibbled on Yami's earlobe for a moment, then pulled away, smirking. Yami purred for a moment, then took Seto's hand and led him from the room, downstairs into the living room, where Mokuba and Yami's tracker were already waiting. The raven-haired boy lit up upon seeing his brother, smiling happily and clutching the bag in his hands. The tracker, on the other hand, was currently glancing out of the window absently, an odd array of weaponry visible on his body, his clothing similar to Yami's. And that wasn't the only thing. "Good morning, Yuugi," Yami greeted, letting go of Seto's hand subtly, obviously wanting to give his mate time to explain things. "And you must be Mokuba." Yami tipped his head slightly, and Mokuba nodded. Seto eyed the tracker for a moment, a bit surprised by the similarities between him and his mate. Then he turned his attention to Mokuba, smiling slightly. "Mokuba..." He looked back at Yami. "Is there some place the two of us could talk in private?" Yami nodded. "Yuugi and I should be going anyway. You can stay here. We'll be downstairs." He motioned to the so-far silent teenager by the window. Yuugi nodded and followed him out of the room. "Nii-sama?" Mokuba questioned innocently. "What's going on?" Seto sighed and knelt down in front of his little brother. "A lot of things happened last night, Mokuba... things are going to be a bit strange for you, I think. For one thing, I'm..." He stopped for a moment, then opened his mouth a bit, running his tongue over his fangs. 'Sometimes it's just easier to show than to tell...' Mokuba tilted his head to one side, his eyes widening slowly. "Nii-sama?" he asked again, stepping forward after dropping his bag. "I'm a vampire now, Mokuba," Seto told his brother softly. He put his hands on Mokuba's shoulders, hands that were now cool to the touch. "I'm still your brother, but just... a bit different." "But..." Mokuba asked, being just the sort of boy who got used to these things very easily. "How did this happen?" He pointed at the door. "Does it have something to do with them?" Seto nodded, smiling fondly. "Yami... the man who came down with me. He was the one who changed me. He and I are... together now. He's... very special to me." Mokuba blinked for a bit. "Is he nice?" he asked, tilting his head to the side and watching his brother curiously. "He seems nice enough..." he paused. "I thought vampires were supposed to be really mean..." Seto grinned and shook his head. "We're not. It depends on the person, really. And Yami is nice. I think you'll like him..." "If you like him, nii-sama, you know I'll like him," Mokuba said cheerfully, smiling brightly now. He leaned forward to hug Seto briefly. "So, are we staying here now? Is that why I had to get my clothes and stuff?" Seto sighed silently in relief and returned the brief hug. "Yes, that's why. Also, Yami has some enemies, and they'll be my enemies too... I wanted to have you here, so I'd know you were safe." "Oh," Mokuba said simply. "Okay then. As long as I'm here with you, I know I'll be safe." He nodded firmly, fetching his bag again. "Do I have to go back to school though?" he asked, his tone cajoling. Seto gave Mokuba a stern look. "Yes. Just because I'm a vampire doesn't mean you should stop learning." "But couldn't I stay here and get a tutor or something?" Mokuba asked, wrinkling his nose. "I don't like my teachers..." He was, obviously, monopolizing the situation. Crafty little bugger. "And what about friends?" Seto asked gently. "You won't find any other children your age around here..." "You're my best friend, nii-sama!" Mokuba insisted firmly, crossing his arms. "And anyway, all the other kids don't like me." He shrugged. Seto sighed and shook his head. "Alright, I'll get you a tutor. But you'd better work extra hard!" He gave Mokuba another stern look, trying to deny the fact that Mokuba had him wrapped around his little finger... Mokuba nodded and smiled. "I will!" he said cheerfully, swinging his bag back and forth. "Nii-sama?" he asked, looking around as is he could see the whole house through the walls. "Where's my room?" "That, we'll have to ask Yami," Seto said, taking Mokuba's hand and leading him downstairs to where Yami and Yuugi were waiting for them. Yami turned to see Seto and Mokuba walking up, excusing himself from Yuugi, who was apparently poring over some charts and such. "Seto?" he asked, holding a map in one hand and looking at Mokuba with a toothy smile. "How are you?" he asked Mokuba, who simply smiled and nodded. Yami grinned. "So I take it things went well?" he questioned. Yuugi looked up at the question and Mokuba looked confused. "Yes, I explained everything to Mokuba," Seto looked down at his little brother ruefully. "It turns out I'll need to find a tutor for him... and Mokuba was wondering where his room would be." Yami seemed to take a moment to think about this. "Hmm, probably across from ours," he said absently, setting the map on the table. "I can have the butler show him up to his room..." he said, trailing off significantly and looking back at the table then at Seto. Seto nodded to Yami and looked down at Mokuba. "I'll talk to you later, Mokuba, ok?" Mokuba smiled and nodded, following the elderly, traditional looking butler, dragging his bag beside him. "Bye-bye, nii-sama! Yami-san!" he said as he turned to walk off. Yami grinned. "It's just Yami, Mokuba," he responded, winking. Mokuba laughed and nodded, saying 'okay' and running off to catch up with his guide. Yami watched him leave, then turned back to Seto, scooting up to Seto intimately. Which caused Yuugi to grin and pretend to focus on his work, while actually watching the pair bemusedly. "So," he said, speaking for the first time since Seto's arrival. "Yami's settled down now? I thought it would never happen." Seto chuckled softly, wrapping an arm around Yami tightly and leaning down to nibble on his neck. Yuugi's eyebrows raised significantly. "Mm, very much so then," he said, grinning widely. Yami mock-glared. "You'll have to forgive him, Seto," he said simply. "He has such an attitude problem." He then bared his fangs menacingly at Yuugi. "And he is looking." Yuugi held both hands up in surrender. "Hey, can you blame me?" he asked. "But enough about that, let's talk about our dunpeal," he said, jabbing a stack of papers with his forefinger. Seto smirked, giving Yami an 'I told you so...' look, then walked over to look at the papers on the table. Yami rolled his eyes and followed Seto. "I'd fire you if you weren't the best," he murmured at Yuugi, looking over the papers. "So, this is Jounouchi..." he said softly, looking at a picture. "Do you know where he is?" Yami asked. Yuugi frowned. "That's the funny thing. He's got a reputation for steering clear of jobs where he's hired by vampires, but it looks like your contract was set up by..." Yuugi grinned. "Well, guess." Yami groaned slightly. "And I was worried he might be dangerous. Now I know he's just going to be annoying. You can do this with your eyes closed, Yuugi." Yuugi shrugged. "They get lucky every once in a while," he said vaguely. Yami rolled his eyes. "Every once in a long while. I've known these guys since you were in diapers, if not before then." Seto blinked. "I hope it's not too much to ask to know what you're talking about..." he said dryly, looking at Yami. Yami sighed. "I'm sorry, Seto. These just happen to be familiar to me. Two vampires. They get a kick out of sending out every available heaven knows what to try and dethrone me, at least that's the idea I get. One of them is very old, the other not so much. The younger one is quite disagreeable." He pulled his shirt down, all of the wounds from hours before already fading. However, there was one scar still visible. "It is true that holy objects can hurt us," he said evenly. "Crosses in particular." Yuugi took over from here. "They've hired a dunpeal to take care of Yami now, but there's no indication that they know anything about you... and news does seem to travel pretty fast to these two. They're strong, they just don't get out much. They have others do their dirty work." Seto snorted and shook his head. "If this dunpeal hates vampires, why would he allow himself to be hired by one?" He reached out and ran gentle fingers over the scar left by the cross. Yami shuddered gently, stepping close to Seto. "I'm not sure..." he said softly. Yuugi interrupted him. "Ah! Wait. There is a connection to the twakurakura Ryou's family was apparently murdered by one of our friends..." He rolled his eyes. "And he pulls all the strings behind our dunpeal." He shrugged. "They could have something going on." Yami looked impressed. "When did this come to your attention again?" he asked, brows raised as he nuzzled up to Seto, while looking at Yuugi. Yuugi grinned. "I called you as soon as I found out." "A very twisted relationship..." Seto muttered, looking thoughtful. He shook his head after a moment, looking down at Yami again. "So, my love... do we have a plan as yet?" "Well, I consider it a personal affront that they keep hiding behind others. Yuugi, you find our dunpeal. Seto, you and I are going to find them." He looked up at Seto for confirmation. "How's that?" Seto gave Yami a wolfish grin. "Sounds like fun..." "Good, I'm glad you think so." Yuugi was already unloading, reloading, and checking a massive arsenal on the table, choosing and re-choosing his weapons. "You want some of these?" he asked Seto, looking totally serious. Seto thought about it for a moment, then shook his head. "I'm better with blades than guns. Knives, swords... if its sharp, than I can fight with it." He grinned slightly. Yami gave Yuugi another of those 'I told you so' looks. "I thought that might be the case," he said, going over to a cabinet by the far wall and opening it to reveal a rather impressive collection of swords and daggers. "Choose your era," he said, indicating the spread after taking what he wanted. Yuugi shook his head and slid his last gun into a shoulder holster. "You're crazy. Guns are certainly better for fighting with. Long range, you know," he said bluntly, throwing on a large coat over everything he was wearing. "I'll meet you back here... in a few hours. I hope you're back by then." Yami shook his head. "You're so egotistical," he said as Yuugi left, waving nonchalantly. Seto pouted slightly. "Blades can be long-ranged as well..." he protested after Yuugi, then turned his attention to the blades. He picked out a couple of throwing daggers that he strapped to his wrist, another dagger to go into his boot later... a long hunting knife, and a pair of lovely katanas, with golden dragons enameled on the sheaths. "Did Yuugi happen to get any of my clothes as well, or do we need to make a quick stop by my mansion so I can change into something more appropriate?" Yami grinned and pointed to a bag next to the door. "I took the liberty of asking him to get you some things. I hope he chose well," the vampire said silkily, running one gloved hand almost lovingly over the sword he was inspecting. Seto smirked slightly and walked over to the bag, rifling through it. He quickly changed into another pair of loose black pants, a black turtle neck and his favorite pair of boots. The hunting knife he strapped to his back, and stuck the dagger into a special sheath in one of his boots. Finally, he pulled out a long black leather duster from the bag and slipped it on, strapping the katanas over that onto his back. He turned back to Yami and raised an eyebrow slightly. "Ready, my love?" Yami grinned, inspecting Seto intimately. "If I'm not, then you are. We're ready. I'm pretty sure they're downtown," he said absently, sheathing the single sword he was carrying. "You look good enough to eat," he commented, sidling up to Seto once more. "But I suppose it can wait." Seto smirked and bent down to nip at Yami's lips teasingly. "Yes, I suppose it can wait..." "Yes, the carnage calls," Yami said smoothly, leading Seto from the house. Predictably, the preferred mode of transportation was by motorcycle. "Can you drive one of these?" Yami asked, pointing downward at one of the sleek black machines. It was a stupid question, but he felt like asking. Seto gave his lover a 'well, duh' look and smirked. "Of course..." He said smugly, running his fingers over shiny black chrome, caressing the vehicle. Yami shrugged and climbed on to the first one, his own trench coat trailing perfectly over the sides. "Well then," he said, eyes bright. "Let's go." And with that, and a squeal of burning rubber, he pulled out, expecting Seto to follow close behind. Seto laughed with delight as he jumped onto his own motorcycle and tore after Yami, his leather duster streaming out behind him in the wind. Yami dipped and weaved through what little traffic there was expertly, and often illegally, leading Seto deep into the city, to a rather shady looking warehouse. Once there, he parked the motorcycle some way away and jumped off, once again indicating that Seto follow. Seto parked the bike beside Yami's, looking up at the building. He followed his lover, his footsteps surprisingly silent, despite the clunky boots he wore. Sapphire eyes glittered with excitement, flashing a dark crimson now and then. Yami stopped at the door, wondering if he should simply knock and go in, or if stealth was a better option. This seemed to be of some great importance to him, as he stood there for a long moment. Though he may have been 'admiring' his 'rivals' 'hideout'. If you could label any of those as such. "Hmm..." he said, voice barely audible. Finally, Yami seemed to decide upon knocking, the sound reverberating quite a lot louder than it may have ought to. In a matter of seconds, an imposing Egyptian man appeared at the door. "Yami-san," he said, voice deep and polite. Yami's eyebrows shot up. "You are looking for Malik-sama?" he asked bluntly. Yami gave a slight nod. "He isn't here now." The ancient vampire resisted the urge to maim this innocent, or mostly innocent, servant. "So where is he?" he finally asked before being handed a piece of paper. Yami looked at it, growling slightly when saw what was on it. "He said to give that to you." Yami looked up, snarling. "And he was with his lover?" he questioned blatantly. Ri'sid remained silent. Seto snatched the paper from his lover's hand before he could destroy it in a fit of pique and read it quickly. Yami shut the door in Ri'sid's face and turned around, walking away quickly. "They're downtown. With the boy, Ryou," he said, looking truly irritated for once. "We should get there, and quickly." Seto frowned and tossed the paper aside, hurrying over to his bike. "Do you think they will kill him?" "That's not what I'm afraid of," Yami said, his face reflecting disgust. He climbed back on his bike, gunning the engine with no time for discussion. Once more, he made his way through traffic, a nervous energy prickling around his slim frame. Seto drove after him, a slight frown of worry on his face. Just because this boy and the dunpeal were hunting them didn't mean they deserved to be tormented by these vampires... he only hoped they weren't too late. Yami pulled up in front of the old hotel and was inside far too fast for the human eye to try and figure out where he entered, once again, the assumption was that Seto would simply follow for the moment, irritation driving the older vampire to somewhat extreme measures. He stopped in front of the hotel room, breathing deeply and composing himself. And waiting for Seto. Seto appeared at Yami's side not a moment later, glaring at the door. He strained his ears to hear anything from the other side of the door, but there was nothing. Yami glanced at Seto, his expression grave before it melted into its usual confident stare and he knocked sharply. It took a few moments for Yami to lose patience again and simply break the door down. "Hmm?" he said, again with his voice low. The apartment appeared to be empty at first glance. Seto entered behind Yami, very wary, when he heard a breathy moan from a dark part of the room. He turned to look and his eyes widened when he saw a pale, white-haired young man sprawled across the floor. He was completely naked, and had several bite-marks scattered across his body, some still trickling blood. Possibly worse was the small puddle of semen between the boy's legs. He was still breathing, but barely. Yami's eyes narrowed and his nostrils flared. "It's him..." he whispered, dropping to his knees silently beside the boy. One gloved hand reached out to draw the boy's head upward and shove a blanket beneath it. The smell of blood was overpowering. He found himself chewing on his lip nervously, ignoring the blood on his chin. "We should take him with us," he said bluntly. "And now we have even more reason to find our friends..." His eyes were glowing dangerously again. Seto growled lowly, his own eyes glowing a deep angry red. "Yes... very much so." He glanced around and found a first-aid kit. He opened it and pulled out some gauze and tape, walking over to Ryou and bandaging his wounds quickly. "That should stop the bleeding for now... but if they took too much blood..." he left the sentence unfinished. Yami growled. "We can replenish him," he said, shaking his head and baring his fangs. "What I'll do when I get a hold of those two," he said bitterly, his features hardening even more. "Though, assumably, he didn't bite back..." Yami mused lowly, eyeing the room. "We need to contact Yuugi. And take him home. I have someone who can take care of him." He threw his coats over the pale body, picking him up easily. "The boy's partner needs to know about him as well..." Seto nodded, glancing around with a snarl. "Damnit... they knew we couldn't chase after them with the boy to take care of..." "They might not count on one of us coming alone. And they might not count of us leaving him at home and coming back together. The question is, where are they now? I wonder if he knows," Yami said, indicating the body he was holding. He propped Bakura up in front of himself, balancing him against his chest and supporting him through his arms, settling comfortably on the cycle. "We should get him home and taken care of. Now." "Hai," Seto growled softly, jumping onto his cycle once more, impatient to be on the hunt again. Hazy brown eyes opened a little, and Ryou moaned softly, stirring a bit in Yami's arms. "Who..." he mumbled, his eyesight too blurred to make out who was holding him. Yami looked down. "We're taking you someplace safe," was all he would offer until they pulled into the driveway. He picked Ryou up once more, carrying him gently inside and setting him carefully on the couch. "Don't move," he demanded, going over to the phone and dialing. Ryou whimpered softly, trembling in reaction to what had happened to him. Seto frowned and knelt beside the couch, smoothing Ryou's hair and making soothing sounds to the boy, trying to calm him down. Yami barked orders into the phone for a moment and then let it fall back on the hook, going over to Ryou. "Are you all right?" he asked softly, aware that it seemed a stupid question, but he had been informed to keep the pale boy as alert as possible. "They... they..." Ryou trembled uncontrollably, a stream of tears trickling down his pale cheeks. Seto's frown deepened and he wiped at the tears with gentle fingers, still making soothing noises. Yami growled, fairly radiating literal heat he was so angry. "They're going to pay for this," he snarled, clenching his fist. There was a soft knock on the door, which Yami hurriedly went to answer, stepping outside to speak with whoever it was briefly. "I couldn't stop them!" Ryou sobbed, trembling harder. "I couldn't... I..." "Shh," Seto hushed Ryou gently. "It's ok, you're safe now. We won't let them hurt you again... you're safe..." He hoped that Yami's doctor would be able to handle this... Yami re-entered the room, leading a tall blonde woman with him. "This is Mai Kujaku. She's Yuugi's partner, also a doctor." He seemed to have calmed a bit more, glancing over at the woman, who was smiling kindly at Ryou. She sank to her knees beside the bed, having toed off her heels as soon as she entered. "She's the best there is, she'll take care of you," he said seriously to Ryou. Mai nodded. "I promise." Ryou sniffled, his eyes flickering from Yami to Seto to Mai, then back again. "Jou--Jounouchi..." Yami tilted his head to the side. "What about him?" he asked, dropping to one knee as well. "Is he all right?" "He... he left before they..." Ryou swallowed hard, cutting off whatever he'd been about to say. "Where... will he... find me?" "Someone will find him," Yami said, his tone reassuring. "In fact, I think Yuugi will be bringing him here." Mai was ignoring the conversation, her bag open as she pulled the coat away from Ryou's chest, looking over the wounds on his chest. "Who did this?" she asked, looking disgusted. "This is butcher work." Ryou whimpered and closed his eyes, pulling away from Mai's touch. Seto glared at Mai for a moment before stroking Ryou's forehead to settle him down again. "Yami's number one fan," Seto growled softly. Mai glared right back. "Well, it's disgusting," she said frankly, sure to be extra gentle now. "It's a disgrace," she added. "And we wonder why people fear us." She finished bandaging Ryou's chest, resting one hand on his arm gently. "Ryou, I need to..." she bit her lip, looking up at the other two. "Would you mind giving us some privacy?" Seto looked at Mai for a moment, then nodded. He patted Ryou's shoulder gently, then stood up gracefully, walking out of the room. He leaned back against the wall, staring up at the ceiling sullenly. Yami followed, giving Ryou one last reassuring look. Once outside, he fairly attacked Seto, kissing him deeply, almost in a frenzy. He pulled away shortly, growling and looking discontent, though his arms were still looped firmly around Seto's waist. "I'll kill them," he said, voice guttural. Seto's eyes widened at the attack, but returned the kiss just as passionately. He huffed slightly when Yami pulled away, nipping along Yami's jawline and down his neck. "Slowly," Seto said, his voice rumbling in a low growl. "Painfully," Yami countered, returning the slow bites, his mouth traveling freely over evsparspare inch of Seto there was to cover. "We should let Mai loose on them," he said, in a brief flash of clarity, before desire took over again. Seto chuckled lowly, tracing a line across Yami's throat with his tongue. "You have quite the vicious streak... I love it." "I'm glad," Yami said fiercely, tilting his head upwards, just as Mai slipped from the room silently, seeming unsurprised by their position. Seto sighed, giving Yami a quick kiss before turning his attention to Mai. "How is he?" Mai frowned. "I want you to hurt them," she said seriously. "Where's Yuugi?" Yami gave a slight shrug. "He was supposed to call. I'm assuming he's just busy with Jounouchi." No doubt. "He'll be around. In the meantime, how is Ryou?" he asked. "Details, please." "His collarbone is fractured, as well as his wrist. And you saw the bite marks. Plus," her voice grew stale and bitter. "This has been going on for some time. The scarring is old." She shook her head. Seto snarled and pulled away from Yami to pace. He tried to channel his anger into his movements and burn some of it off, but it wasn't working. The boy had worked up all of his protective instincts, and he wanted the ones who'd done this to him *dead*. Yami looked at the ground. "Okay, Mai, find Yuugi. Seto and I are going out again. We're going to find those two," he said, with authority. Mai smiled assuringly, baring her own neat fangs. "Right," she whispered, vanishing in the mere blink of an eye. To be continued...
