Chapet 2: Man's best friend
Jonouchi and Yugi walked in the Pet shop and their mouths dropped. A friendly face turned to them and he started sweating.
"HONDA?!" Yugi and Jonouchi both asked, eyes wide and mouths dropped.
"H-hey guys..."he answered. He was wearing a black t-shrit with fire and skulls along the bottom and his pants were black with white knees. His hair was jelled up in a trianlger prisim and his eyes were dark brown.
"W-what are you doing h-here?" he asked nervouisly. Jonouchi and Yugi looked at one another and nodded.
"Tomorow's Shizuka's birthday and I'm here to get her somet'ing." he said, posing at and angle with on hand on his hip and giving a thumbs up sign.
"And I'm here to check out the animals." Yugi added, blushing. "Do you work here, Honda?" he finally asked after awhile. Honda nodded and smiled weridly.
"Follow me." he turned and walked towards the left door. He opened it and the three friend's walked in. Jonouchi and Yugi froze when they saw the place. Every where were either cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, snakes, gerbils, Degus, and others.
"Take your pick." Honda nodded and feed the rabbits. They both nodded and walked around. Jonouchi looked to his left and saw a pure white kitten. He walked over to it and noticed a black and orange cat. It had orange around it's paws and one ear. It had a orange tip and a white muzzle and belly.
"How much are they?" he asked, poitning to both kittens.
"$25.36." Honda replied. Jonouchi reached into his pocket, pulling out $50.
"Here." he said, handing the money to Honda. He cashed it in and gave him back the change.
Meanwhile, Yugi was over at the dogs. He seen a Japanese shiba Inu puppy but didn't want it. He almost gave up when something caught his eye. In the corner, he saw a golden dog with a white muzzle. The dog growled when Yugi approched but then Yugi's eyes widened. On the dog's forhead was the Millennium sign! He noiticed a symble like the Millennium sign around his neck tied to a string.
"Yugi, watch out. That one is on death road. A little boy was looking at him and he bit him." Honda informed him from where he was. Yugi nodded and looked at the dog. Then he smiled.
"How much is he?"
