Chapter 2
Disclaimer: I don't own Yu-Gi-OH! Nope. I just have a very twisted mind, and I'm borrowing a few characters to take part in one of my sick stories.
Warnings: Murder, gore, evil-ness, yaoi, violence, swearing, AU.
Author: Koneko Shido
A/N: Well, on to part 2. We shall have a plot, at last! Things shall HAPPEN!
Dark Light - Part 2
"Open up! Come on, we know you're in there! Open this door, right now!"
Ryou yawned and slowly hauled himself up from the couch where he'd fallen asleep the night before, stretching and looking towards the door. Now who would be hammering on the door and shouting at this time of the morning? Running his slender fingers through his pure white hair to neaten it up a little, Ryou stumbled tiredly over to the door and opened it a crack, keeping the chain on, just in case. Apparently there'd been a few murders lately, one couldn't be too careful.
"Can I help you?" He asked, polite as always.
"Police, open the door!" One of the cops outside demanded, flashing his badge.
"Wh-what? What is this about?" Ryou asked, taking off the chain and opening the door, staggering back when the legions of police surrounding his house burst in and grabbed him.
"Ryou Bakura? You're under arrest for the murder of Ken Akino, you're coming with us!" A big, heavily built policeman snarled, wearing full body armour. Ryou gasped, wondering what on earth was happening.
"Murder? Is this a joke? I-I have no idea what you're talking about!" Ryou insisted, looking up at the huge man towering over him.
"Yeah, sure. Well, for your information a young man matching your description was seen last night walking into an alley where the body of a Mr. Ken Akino was later found, his throat cut. Fingerprints were found at the scene, and once we match them to you, you're history. You're coming with us."
"But-!" Ryou gasped, praying that this was all just a bad dream. He'd been at home all night, watching a movie with a cup of hot chocolate and a pizza, not out in some dark alley slitting someone's throat!
"No buts, move!"
Ryou winced as he was shoved out of the door towards a patrol car, hearing the terrifying click of his wrists being sealed in handcuffs.

Bakura watched, smirking, as Ryou was questioned by a detective. The poor boy was obviously scared stiff and had absolutely no idea what was going on, it was really quite amusing to watch. Of course, no one could see Bakura, he was stood in the corner of the room, transparent as air, and if a human happened to look directly at him all they would see was a slight blur of the air, as if it were being heated. And then they would get a killer headache if they stared at the spot for too long. But Bakura could see them, very well, and he was watching the detective trying to intimidate Ryou by leaning over the table where the boy sat. By the looks of things it was working, too. Ryou was trembling slightly, stammering a few of his words as he tried to explain over and over that he hadn't even left the house the night before.
Bakura sneered. This was getting boring. Once the results of the fingerprinting came back the brainless detectives would have to let Ryou go anyway, since they wouldn't match. It was time, Bakura decided, to amuse himself elsewhere. Time for another victim.
With a smirk, Bakura vanished.

TBC
Short chapter, because that was mostly just in-between bits and I wanted to get another murder in. Yup, since I'm in the mood, some other poor OC shall have to die at the hands of my very favourite psycho.
