Surprise at Sea

Welcome back to my fic. You know the standard procedures. I don't own Yu-Gi-Oh! (Wish I did
though!) I would like to thank everyone who reviewed Chapter 1. Now it's time for Chapter 2.
It's from Anzu's POV. No lemons, limes, or sour fruit yet. ;)

Chapter 2: Curiosity *Anzu's POV*

Well...what the hell is wrong with everyone? I mean, I know I be at dance practice a lot, but
still, that's no reason to be so distant with me. And now I see my friends with other guys a
lot. I saw Jou walking to Kaiba Manor just yesterday! And then there's Honda. Now why
is he literally staying at Otogi's game shop? If he has a part-time job there, then why didn't
he just tell me? Thank Ra for Yugi. At least he's the only sane one.

There's Kaiba Manor. And Seto Kaiba himself. Wait a minute? That looks like Jou! And he's
kissing Kaiba!! No...no way that's him! That's just someone that looks like Jou. I'm just
seeing things. Dilusional...been dancing too hard lately. Yeah...that's it. Jou likes Mai.
They'll get together once that knucklehead tells her how he feels. Ok. I'm running late.
That was just some girl that looked like Jou kissing Kaiba. Yeah, that's it.

*Madame Boulevardes Dance Studio*
Man I'm late! Madame's going to kill me!

"Miss Anzu! Late again I see!" She scolds at me.

"Gomen Madame Boulevardes." I say hoping she'll accept my apology.

"That makes the 2nd time this week. We meet only 3 days of the week and you can't even
be on time. You're starting to make me doubt my decision on you as the lead."

Oh no! I worked so hard to be the lead! I can't let that fall by the wayside! All mrienriends, and family will be there to see me!

"No Madame, I promise I won't be late again."

"Make this your last time. Now, get ready for class."

She walkes away towards the practice room.
I get ready and join the class just in time for warm-ups. I still can't shake that image of
Kaiba and that Jou-look-alike!

"Positions everyone!" Madame yells and snaps me out my thoughts.

I scurry to the front and take my position. Madame starts the music. I start and after my
solo, everyone else is supposed to join me...

"Miss Anzu!! No! That's not it!" Madame looks very disappointed. "What happened to you
Anzu? You were the light of the class and now you're fading fast. For the past month you
have been getting worse and worse. I have been giving you chance after chance, and now I'm
afraid I have no choice, but to cut you from the lead."

What....did she say what I think she just did?! I'm...cut...no, this can't happen! I can't stand it
here now. I'm going home.

"Wait Miss Anzu!" Madame yells trying to stop me. But it's no use. I'm going home. I need to
get away for now. There's Kaiba Manor...no Kaiba and Jou kissing this time. I was seeing things
just like I thought. Otogi's game shop. Otogi and Honda...looks like they're holding hands?! No,
that's wrong. All the tears are clouding my vision. I finally get home and run straight to my
room and bury my face in my pillow. I'm glad mom's not home. The last thing I need is for her
to be nagging me. I cry myself to sleep...a dream-filled sleep.

Oh, where am I? Looks like I'm on a boat. A very nice boat to be exact. Hmm...better get
out this bed and see who else is on here. The deck is wonderful. Wow, what a great view!
'Anzu! Anzu!' Who's that calling my name? Sounds like Jou. I look around and see him
walking towards me with...KAIBA! No way! They're holding hands and Kaiba's smiling about
it! 'Hey, I thought that you would never wake up! Come join everyone else by the pool. I nod
my head and follow Jou and Kaiba. I look and see who else is by the pool. Honda...Otogi?!
They look more like a couple...No...that's not right! Bakura's evil spirit! Who's that he's
cuddling with. 'Hi Anzu!' That's Bakura! And there's that freaky Marik! And that other Marik
that fooled us! Jou and Kaiba are in the pool splashing each other! There's Yugi! I'm glad to
see that he's not with another guy. I run over to him. 'Yugi! I'm so glad to see you!' 'Anzu,
welcome.' 'Aibou? Come on in the pool.' I turn around and look towards the pool and there's
the spirit of the puzzle! In the pool waving at me! 'Yugi...this is freaky!' 'Nah Anzu, It's not
freaky yet. Wait until later!' He jumps in the pool and the splash of water wakes me up.

I'm panting really hard! That was just a dream...just a dream. But it seemed so real! Dreams
can be like that sometime. Yea, it was just a dream. There's no way that Kaiba would ever
be happy with Jou! I remember...that letter...I 'borrowed' it from Yugi's. I shouldn't have
done it. But I'm curious to why it was under the sofa cushion. Let's see, where in my bag did
I put it? AA-ha! Here it is!

"Yugi and ------, I would like to personally invite you to a cruise. This cruise is
for -----s only and there are a limited number of people I sent the invites to.
The boat, St. Kaiba, leaves next Saturday, so be ready to go by 8am! Hope to see
you there, Kaiba."

Stupid tears! Messed up the paper. I wonder...Yugi and who else? Jou? Yea, it must be Jou.
Hmmm...what can that other word be? Let's see, the letter is from Kaiba. So it must be
duelists! Kaiba's hosting another tournament! A very private tourney! It's on a cruise
ship! So...since it's private. I guess I have to sneak on. Just like I did with the Duelist
Kingdom Tourna. He. Hehehe. Don't worry Yugi and Jou! I'll be there to root ya all the
way to the top!
