R&R PLEASE!!

“Please Ji-chan, can I go?”
The old man sighed, standing up from the table and bringing his breakfast dish to the washing machine, “clear your plate, my boy.”
The short boy pouted, doing as told then turning to his grandfather, “stop trying to change the subject! Ji-chan everyone is going on the ski trip! I would be called even more of a loser.”
‘Yugi you aren’t a loser,” Sugoruko said, rolling his eyes.
“Am too!” The tri-haired teen replied, brows knitting together as he frowned, “If I’m not, why doesn’t anyone like me? How come nobody asked me to be their ski partner.”
“That pretty girl Anzu seems to be taken with you,” his grandpa offered.
Yugi made a face, “no way! She doesn’t really like me...I know it’s all show. Though it does feel nice to have someone to talk to at school during lunch.”
The grey haired man shrugged, “why don’t you be her ski partner?”
“I would ask her but...as student council president, she took it upon herself to ask the foreign exchange student to be her partner.”
“Who is this new student anyways?”
The violet eyed youth slumped slightly, “I don’t know, I haven’t seen him. I do know that he’s from Egypt and excels in all sorts of games. He’s already been asked to join several teams and he just got here. He’s really popular...I bet he’s a real jerk. Anzu seems to be in love with him though, along with half the student body.”
Sugoruko chuckled, “hell of an ego that boy must have, then. Now you must get to school. It’s already almost six-thirty.”
“Crud! And I have to meet Anzu at Coffee World in a few minutes!” the petite boy grabbed his books and hugged his grandpa before running out the door, yelling fore him to think about the ski trip while he was at classes.
~~~`
Anzu sighed, tapping her foot against the wooden floor of Coffee World. (Shadow: XP coffee world instead of burger world. Specter: -_- we have way too much time on our hands. Shadow: ^^; I know)
//Where the hell is he?//
The bells chimed, signaling the arrival to a new customer in the coffee shop. A short tri-haired teen ran inside, clutching a brown paper bag in his small hands. He ran over to the brunette, waving and grinning as he did.
Anzu rolled her eyes, “what took you so long?!” she yelled.
Yugi winced, cringing at the nasty tone in her voice, “I-I’m sorry,” he whispered.
“You have kept us waiting for almost twenty minutes!”
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry...” he cried. Then he looked up, “w-we?”
The brunette rolled her eyes, “yes, Yami and I have been waiting like, forever.”
“W-who is Yami?”
“The new student!” she replied, making it seem that everyone should know who this ‘Yami’ feller was.
Yugi shook his head, “o-oh.” When she didn’t say anything else, he held up the bag, taking something out from inside it and blushing as he did, “I-I stopped at The Cookie Company on the way over, which is why I was late. I had to use some of my allowance on it but I think it was worth it....I k-know they make your favorite cookies and see look,” he held up the pink frosted cookie, “I h-had them shape it like- like a ballet slipper to-too.” He explained.
She smiled partially, and then saw the Egyptian exchange student heading their way. She sneered, taking the cookie and throwing it on the ground; stepping on it with the heal of her platform boot, “you idiot; I’m on I diet!” she yelled.
“I-I’m sorry Anzu, you didn’t tell me!” Yugi whimpered, feeling the girl push him on the ground, making him land on the crumbled treat he had bought specially for her.
“What’s going on?” a deep voice asked.
The violet eyed teen, turned his head up to see a tall male hovering above him; looking down upon him with sympathy-filled crimson orbs. In his hands he carried a coffee cup and a wrapped piece of food.
Anzu smiled kindly, kicking Yugi out of the way and wrapping her arm around the tall boy’s waist, resting her head on his shoulder, “nothing Yami-chan,” she chirped.
The one called Yami nodded and took the small desert he had gotten for the girl, “I got the cookie you wanted, sugar and pink frosted.”
The brunette giggled, taking the treat and kissing the boy on the cheek, making him blush slightly, “arigato, Yami-chan,” she said.
“No problem,” he replied, stepping a little bit away from the girl.
Tears welled in Yugi’s eyes, ‘’why-why did she tell me she was on a diet? How come she threw my cookie on the floor? D-does she not like me anymore? No! I don’t want to lose my only friend! // He got up, sniffling and glaring at the tall boy before running out of the shop, using his arms to hide his face.
Yami pushed Anzu’s arm off of him, staring after the small boy, “who was that? Your friend?”
Azure eyes glistened cruelly, “friend? Him?! No way...that was just Yugi. Don’t worry about him, he’s just a nobody.”
//Yugi...//
“We better get going to school, the bell will ring in a half an hour or so.”
Yami nodded, following the teen out of the busy coffee place.
~~~`
Yugi used his hand to wipe away his tears as he walked down the crowded hallway.
“Hey watch it, loser!” a football player yelled, pushing the small boy into the lockers as he ran by to catch up with his preppy cheerleader girlfriend who he had just gotten into a fight with. “She kissed me I swear it!” he hollered after her.
The amethyst eyed teen whimpered as his body collided with the lockers. More tears fell down his cheeks as the sharp metal bit into his soft flesh and one of the locks scraped him across the eye. He fell to the floor in tears, seeing his books scattered on the ground and people stepping on them but not caring to actually pick them up and help him. //Does everyone seem to enjoy hurting me today?//
Wincing, he managed to push himself up and lean against the locker he hat hit. From the corner of his eyes, he noticed a drop of crimson liquid trail down the side of his face from the large cut.
“Two-twenty, this is my locker,” a deep voice announced.
Yugi took in a shuddering breath, feeling to week to move. He had already been stopped by bullies on his way into the school and had his stomach practically ripped apart, now he had a huge scrape over his eye (which was blurring his vision with blood) and now it felt like the locker had ripped a hole in his side.
“Two-twenty, can you please move? This is my locker,” the person repeated.
Eyes widened as the petite boy recognized the voice. It was the same as that boy at Coffee World...the exchange student! //What was his name?// “Y-Yami...” he whispered.
The tall boy’s eyes went large as he saw how unhealthy the small teen looked, “hey, kid are you okay?” he approached, putting his books on the ground and placing his arms on either of Yugi’s shoulders, forcing him to face him. Yami held back a gasp as he noticed the blood on the boy’s face and how disheveled his clothes were, “what happened?” he asked, feeling sympathy to this boy, first by being so rudely used by that girl Anzu and now for this.
Yugi sniffled, not caring who it was holding him, not caring he didn’t know the other boy, and not caring people were watching. He leaned forward and buried his face in Yami’s chest, using his hands to clutch on the white material of the boy’s shirt which he wore under the blue uniform jacket. “I’m nobody. I’m nobody,” he sobbed quietly.
The scarlet eyed boy was startled, but wrapped his arms around the small youth comfortingly, whispering that everything would be alright. Noticing how his shirt began to feel wet, he pulled away, seeing the tear stains and also a bit of blood. “There, there...um...” he searched his memory for the name, “...Yugi.” He pressed the boy’s face against his chest again and let him cry. “You aren’t nobody, don’t say that.”
Yugi nodded against the warmth of the other’s torso, “I-I’m sorry” he whispered. “I ruined your shirt.”
Yami chuckled, “I can always get another.”
The boy smiled, thanking the taller and allowing him to pick him up and carrying him down the hall.
“I’m going to take you to the clinic. You don’t look well at all. Uh...where is it again?” Yami looked down, but smiled sadly at seeing the other had fallen asleep, snuggled against him.
A few feet away, he spotted Anzu who was talking to some girls on the Dance team, “Anzu,” he called out.
“Yami! What a surprise! What is he doing in your arms?!” she asked, disgusted.
“He was badly injured I found him. Where is the nurse’s office?”
Anzu growled and pointed down the hallway, “all the way down and to the far right. It has a sign that says infirmary, you can’t miss it.” She explained.
Yami nodded in thanks before walked in the direction she told him.
On the ground near Yami’s locker, Yugi’s books sat scattered and forgotten.
