Chapter 2
Meeting the Parents

***Jas POV** month later.

I sighed as I talked on the phone. Dating Yami was just great. better than
great I mean. he was even ok about the idea of us taking it slowly and
everything and you don't get that many guys that are willing to wait until
your ready but now we about to hit a hitch. "Look mom. I told you I don't
know. Ugh. I know you want to meet Yami. But you know what I got to hide.
No.. No again." I rasped into the phone. SHE'S DRIVING ME NUTS!!!!

"You make thing sound so easy." I said sarcastically "Wha- no he's not in
the room, he's out with our friends. Ahhhhhhhh will you quit asking me
that!?!?!? Even if I want to I couldn't." I argued crossing my legs and
about to pull my hair out. "Fine. we'll come stay for the three day week end
and yes Sunday you can get your friends to see him too. Just promise you
won't let it out." I warned as I stood.

I hung up the phone. "Darn parents," as I put the phone back and look back
at my homework. "Ugh this is driving me nuts I love duel monsters but COME
ON you don't need to know everything little thing about the card!!!!" I
screamed at my book whilst pulling my hair.

"You shouldn't pull your hair out over a 'little' bit of homework" I
narrowed my eyes to glare. The rich brat decided to make a show, not that I
hate his guts but. I'M JUST SEVERELY P***ED OFF RIGHT NOW!!!! Ok Jas just
keep calm. Breathe. Breathe. The skies are blue, the grass is green and this
stupid karma therapy IS NOT WORKING!!!!

"What do you want rich boy?" I say as calmly as a severely pissed off me
could make.

"Your boyfriend wants you to come down and get some air. You've been locked
up in here and in classes for the last two weeks." Seto commented casually
as he got the book he came for.

"Unlike you. I have to study 24/7" I chided flipping a page in my book. My
eyes open wide as the git just plucked me off my seat and onto his shoulder
so my arse is now staring unceremonly Ily I remind you at the ceiling. "WHAT
THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!?!?!?! PUT. ME. DOWN!!!"

"You need to get out and I'm getting sick and tired of that tri headed freak
whining and pining over you not being around." Seto replied monotonously. I
growled as Seto carried me over his shoulder to where the others were
waiting in the parking lot.

"Kaiba what are you doing to him?" Yami looking wide eyed at billionaire boy
and my arse.

"Getting his butt out here like you asked. Besides. I noticed some cobwebs
were starting to settle in on him." Seto answered before tossing me to the
floor and making me land with an embarrassing 'oofph'.

"I asked if you could 'talk' him to come out not 'drag' him out" Yami
scowled whilst holding me up. The rich git just rolled his eyes a little
annoyed but not as much as me... oh no.

"Well speaking of drag, I have to drag 'you' and myself to stay for a three
day weekend with my parents. They're just 'dying' to meet you." Anybody
notice my comment dripping with delicious sarcasm? Yami being the sweet guy
as always just nodded. "And everyone else is coming over on Sunday too" I
quickly added. No pressure, no pressure at all.

"Oh yay!!! Is the rest of your family 'this' lively?" Seto commented.

"Ha hardy ha, ha" I scoffed as I got in the car. "So Yami you better get
backing. We're leaving after we get back from the Pizza Hut," I said sitting
down. Yugi smiled at me. "Hey Yugi what's up?" I asked cheerfully.

"Nothing much. Just spending time with Joey." Yugi whispered blushing. I
smiled. I won't pry. Hehehe. (Insert maniacal laughter here)

****Pizza shop.

"Don't even think about it Bakura. It's my last piece of pizza." I growled.
As I finished the one I had in my hand. Bakura smirked as he went for it. I
slam a fork down on the piece Pizza an inch away from Bakura's hand.

"I told you it's mine." MINE!!! MINE ALL MINE!!! I had the urge to say but I
was afraid people might take my pizza away and wrap me up to this nice
jacket then wheel me in to this little white room with geeky men poking
their sticks at me. So I kept quiet whilst munching happily on the last
piece of pizza. Bakura growled. "Don't start a fight with me Bakura-kun. You
remember what happened last time? I beat the crap out of you and you didn't
get no fun from Ryou for. a week." I smirked smugly as the white-headed
albino tomb robber muttered curses to himself whilst pulling Ryou onto his
lap. I found out about the millennium item spirit a week after I started
dating Yami.

I sighed as I leaned into Yami. I was a little shorter then him. Only just.
Not as small as Yugi though you could give me a 'bit' of credit. Yami rolled
his eyes. "Must you two fight? You're worst then me and Seto" Yami
complained. I just gave him my cheesy grin.

"Sorry love" I said sweetly kissing him. Anyway with a huge bulge in my
stomach and burp along the way we got ready to go. "We need to get our
things and head to my house." I sighed. Yami just nodded, as the others got
up and headed out to Seto's limo.

I stared at Yami as he got his things. "We could always say your sick or
something and just stay here?" I encouraged with a sweet sugar coated smile.
Yami turned to me.

"But I'd love to meet your family." Yami said coming over to me.

"Trust me you don't want to. They're a little. insane." I mumbled.

"And. you're dating someone thousands of years older than you.?" he remarked
incredulously. I just shrugged.

"Well. it's not 'my' fault you're so well preserved," I whispered playing
with my fingers. Yami reached down and kissed me. Then his tongue touched my
lips asking to be let in. I slowly open my lips letting it slide. He broke
the kiss and lean back on his knee from me.

"They can't be 'that' bad." DARN IT, NOW HE'S GIVING ME THE PUPPY DOG
EYES!!!! IT'S NOT FAIR, I'M THE ONLY WHO SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO THAT!!!! I
blinked as I nodded in defeat. He chuckled a bit. "Come on love" Yami said
as he got off the bed. I follow in a daze. His kisses always seem to do that
to me. Oh God why!?!?!?

I sighed as I drove Yami car being that I knew where we were going. I
stopped at a stoplight. "We can still make a run for it. Go somewhere and
just make out. Even if we don't go all the way. It'll still be fun," I
admit. I try.

"Jas I want to meet your family. Why do you keep trying to avoid that? I
mean I understand the fact of 'not going all the way' but. there are a lot
of other things you are hiding from me." Yami whispered. My eyes sadden as I
looked at him. Oh no. guilt trip.

"I'm sorry I keep doing that but ." I stopped not finding the words. Yami
took one of my hands.

"I know you love me and I love you. The thing your hiding will come out when
you feel like telling. But there's no way are we running away to make outWe'rWe're goto mto meet your parents" Yami said stubbornly as he took my hand
and kissed it before I started to drive again. I can't help but smile. A guy
like Yami does that to ya.

"Thanks Yami" I replied. Yami nodded as he kept holding my hand.

I sighed as pulled up in the driveway. "Remember this isn't the house I grew
up in." I joked as I got out. "We can still turn back," I add. Yami sighs.

"Jas" Yami sighed.

"Ok, ok." I hold my hands up in defeat as I opened the door and stepped in.
"Mom, dad I'm home" I called as Yami followed.

Ray Rea appears. "There's my boy and this must be Yami. Heard a lot about
you. Well as much as what we could get out off Jas anyway," Ray said shaking
Yami's hand. Yami smiled politely just like the sweet guy he is.

"Nice to meet you Mr. Rea"

"Call me Ray." Ray daddy-o just basically commanded. Ray pulled me aside.
"Your brother said you could use his room" I nodded.

"Oh there's my son. I'm so glad you came home today. I mean you don't call
that much and I missed you. That school doesn't lock the door after school
does it?" my mother cried. I groaned.

"Sorry mom had a lot on my mind" I mumbled. I gently wrap my arm around Yami
waist pulling him forward. "Mom this is Yami. Yami this is my mom Nina"

"Nice to me you" Yami replied taking my mom's hand to lightly shake it but
got pulled from my arms into a huge glomp from my mother. "Ugh." I think
he's going to suffocate.

"Mom!?!?" Oh God this is NOT going good. "Needs air."She looked up and then
let go of Yami.

"Welcome to the family dear. Oh you two must be hungry" Nina said as she
headed off to the kitchen. I sighed.

"Come on I'll show you the house," I announced pulling Yami with me up the
stairs. Hope I remember where everything is. I pushed open my brother's room
witch was mine for the weekend. Being that my room was empty and had one
thing Yami didn't need to know about. yet anyway.

"This is my room." I say showing Yami it like the perfect little tour guide
I should be in 'my' bedroom or was it a maze? "Nothing much being that I'm
not here that often" I said lightly and shut the door opening another. "This
is the library, that's the computer room, at the end is my brother room and
parents room and that concludes our grand Le Tour of Jas Rea's house." I
said lightly. I grinned as I looked at Yami. "How about 'another' view of my
room" I purr pulling him into 'my' room noticing the massive grin from Yami.
I shut the door before locking lips with him who seemed to hold me up
against the door.
"See there 'is' a good side to coming here. You get to spend time with me."
Yami whispered as he kisdowndown my neck. I moaned in answer and lightly run
my hands down his back. I pushed Yami back up to kiss him on the lips again
before easing us both towards the bed. When my mothers call for us saying
dinner was ready. I groaned.

"Perfect. just perfect. Jeez" I muttered resting my head on Yami's shoulder.
Yami sighed too.

"Come on love let's go eat. We can pick up where we left off later" Now he's
giving me the cheesy grin.

"I'll be down in a sec love," I whispered. I left heading down the hallway
to my real room. I opened the door to find my cat sleeping on my bed. I
gently lift her up and looked around. "How much is Yami going to love me
when he finds out who I really am?" I said to my cat that just purred as I
held her. I sighed as I set her down and headed back out. I shut the door.

I shifted the bandage under my shirt. "Ugh these are getting uncomforted," I
mumble, as I shift it as I walk downstairs.

***Nighttime***

I shift out from under the covers and from Yami arms and stood near the
window. "What the? Why have I woken up in a cold sweat?" I muttered looking
at the sky. Yami sat up.

"You ok love?" Yami asked. I slowly looked at him.

"Yea just woke up from a bad dream" When the clouds moved from the moon. And
I froze. The moon was a blood red. "What the?" I rasped as I moved back. I
looked at Yami. "Tell me. moons are not red are they?" I asked lightly. Yami
shook his head. "Well tell that to that moon. I think he's got his colours
mixed up." I said. Yami stood going to the window and stared up at the moon.
I moved next to Yami.

When the red moonlight fell over Yami and me. I quickly took Yami's hand to
lead him away from the window not liking what was happening. When I found I
couldn't move. Nether could Yami. I went to call to my parents but my voice
was gone and my body was slowly fading into the red light along with Yami.

****Normal POV****

As soon as the two boys disappeared along with others in the city. The moon
turned back to sliver. As if nothing had happen.
