@ Angels, Demons, and Plushies: I loved that bit you quoted most ;) In this chapter (or
the next one) will definitely be some Joey/Kaiba, but I try my best to not
forget about these two ^_~
@ Death’s Child: I’m glad that you think so and thanks ^__^
@ Sansi: I already wrote one when they get together and it’s a short one-shot called
‘Thunderstorm’. I’m glad that you like my stories and thanks for the review(s)

@ cloud-1-3-5: Time? What is that? Can you eat it? I know what you mean; I should
be studying Spanish for the exam, but I thought I let everyone wait long enough
so type it now (that chapter was finished long ago I just never got the time to
sit down and type it ;)).

@ Elle King: I hope that wasn’t too long for you and the lemon was just some kind of
prologue, the real plot starts in this chapter.

Chapter 1 “Back in time”
Yugi woke up due to feeling uncomfortable lying on his back. He winced, turned on his
side and tried in vain to go back to sleep since the sun was now shining onto
his face. When someone knocked on the door he sat up.
“Yes?” He said loud enough for the person outside to hear but silent enough to not wake
Yami up who was still sleeping beside him. He brought his finger up to his
mouth signalling Grandpa, who pocked his head in, to not disturb his other
half.
“You two should get up and you... are you alright? You’re a bit pale.” Yugi smiled at his
grandfather and pulled the blanket up to his chest after he realized that
Grandpa was regarding worriedly his love bites in the dim light.
“I’m fine, don’t worry.” Grandpa hesitated when his gaze fell onto the visible wrist where
the velvet robe had left a pale mark, but nodded and left the room. Yugi looked
at Yami and smiled. Yami was laying on his stomach, one arm beside and the
other arm above his head on the pillow. His face was turned towards Yugi. Yugi
saw the regular moving of Yami's eyes underneath the lids, indicating that Yami
still was deeply in the REM sleep. Yami's mouth was a bit open so that the deep
breathing turned into a slight snoring sound. Yugi lightly caressed Yami's
cheek without waking him up before he captured Yami's lips with his own getting
Yami slowly out of his sleep. Yugi knew that Yami was fully awake when Yami
turned onto his back, pulling Yugi on top of him without breaking their kiss.
Yugi tried to pull away, but Yami's hands kept in pin place. Yugi winced
slightly and Yami immediately let go.
//I’m sorry, Aibou.// Yugi chuckled lightly and gave Yami a quick peek on the lips.
/It’s not like I didn’t want it. Actually I would love to continue now, but our friends
are coming./
//Darn.// They got up and dressed. Yugi held himself as straight as possible while
pulling his trousers up.
“Aibou, lay down on your stomach, please.”
“Yami, we don’t have time for it now.”
“I didn’t thinkut tut that.”
“Why is it that I don’t believe you?”
“Ok, maybe I did, but I had something different in my mind right now, so just please do
what I asked you to.” Yugi slowly laid down on the bed. He almost told Yami to
get off when he felt the familiar weight on his bottom, but didn’t when Yami
started to run his hands over Yugi's back, massaging the stiff muscles. Yugi
purred when he felt the aching muscles relax under Yami's strong hands and Yami
leant down and kissed Yugi on the shoulder-blade. Yami continued to massage Yugi
but sat down beside Yugi when Grandpa knocked again still running his hands
over Yugi's back. Yugi's voice was a bit muffled due to the pillow when he told
his grandpa to come in.
“Yami? I need your help with something when you’ve got time.”
“Of course, Grandfather. How can I help you?”
“My friend Hopkins had found something in Egypt, but both of us hadn’t been able to
translate it. I thought that you could try it perhaps.” Yami nodded and stopped
with what he was doing causing Yugi to groan lightly in protest.
“It’s in the living room on the table. Can you go ahead? I want to ask Yugi something.”
Yami looked a bit confused, but agreed, put a shirt on and went out of the
room. Yugi sat up and also put his shirt on and also his neck buckle which half
effectively hid the dark bite bruise on his neck.
“Is something wrong Grandpa?”
“I hope not... Yugi, I wanted to ask you about the bruises you have... and I hope that
this is just a misunderstanding since I would be more than saddened if this
isn’t one, but... did Yami do that to you?” Yugi frowned at that.
“What do you mean?” His eyes went wide when he realized what Grandpa was thinking about.
“Do you think that Yami became a-abusive? If you think that then I can reassure
you that you misunderstood that... he, I mean we... I...” Yugi hurried to say
and blushed heavily. Grandpa smiled at him.
“I’m glad to hear that Yugi. I would have been more than shocked if you had confirmed my
fears since I would never really expect Yami to hurt someone... err at least
not you.”
“I appreciate your concern Grandpa and if something happens you know that you and
Yami are the first to get to know that, right?”
“Right.” Yugi embraced his grandfather, showing him his love and trust.
“What did Hopkins find in Egypt?”
“An ancient scroll. Let’s just hope it isn’t something like a recipe for soup.” Yugi
laughed, but his thoughts were still on the conversation they just had had. He
would have to tell this Yami since he wouldn’t be able to keep something like
this from his other half. He hoped that Yami wouldn’t be too upset about this.
“Come on, let’s see if Yami can read it.” Yugi nodded and they went into the living-room.
Yugi watched his othalfhalf for a second. Yami was sitting on the sofa with the
scroll in his right hand while his other hand was near his mouth in thoughts. Yugi
could see that Yami was concentrating hard on the old script; he was frowning
while his eyes scanned restlessly over the ancient writing.
“Did you find anything?” Yami looked up at him and Grandpa before he let his hand drop
from his mouth and answered.
“These hieroglyphs were even ancient in my times. So far I just figured that this is
some kind of spell, but what kind of spell I don’t know yet.” Yugi sat down
beside his Yami and hugged hrounround the middle. Yami placed his free left arm
around Yugi, but kept his gaze on the scroll.
“Funny. Hopkins said that he found it in a tomb that is around 5000 years old.”
“There were only a few people who knew these hieroglyphs. I may have been one of these
persons, but I can’t remember.” Yugi nodded and got an idea.
“Perhaps you could ask Bakura if he recognizes them.” Yami snorted at that.
“A normal thief usually couldn’t even use our common writing.”
“But Bakura wasn’t a normal thief, was he?” Yami didn’t comment on that.
“Come on, asking him can’t hurt.” Yami glared for a second at Yugi before he turned his
eyes back to the papyrus. Yugi bit his tongue when he
realized that it would hurt Yami's pride badly to ask Bakura for help. Yugi
didn’t say anything about this anymore and chose to snuggle further into Yami
who tightened his hold on him. When the doorbell rang Grandpa told them to stay
where they were and went to open the door. A bit later he returned with Joey,
Ryou and Bakura. Bakura immediately smirked when he saw Yami's concentrated
face.
“Oh the great pharaoh tries to read although everyone knows that he can’t.” Yami just
glared at Bakura and then returned his attention to the scroll.
“What is this anyway?”
“None of your concern tomb robber.” Bakura quickly snatched the paper from Yami's hand
without damaging it. His eyes widened as he scanned over it before he smirked
and started to read the Egyptian words aloud. Yami immediately jumped up.
“Bakura stop it right now!” Bakura ignored him and finished the spell. When nothing
happened, Bakura’s grin disappeared and he gave the scroll back.
“What did you just do?”
“Obviously nothing. This is supposed to be a time and dimension travel spell, but it
didn’t...” Suddenly the whole room got darker. “...work?” Yugi got up and
grasped Yami's hand. The room started to spin fast and Yugi tightened his hold
on Yami who also fastened his grip on Yugi. A sudden harsh wind caused every
paper in the room to fly around.
“What’s happening?” Yugi had to shout so Yami could hear him.
“I don’t know!” He barely understood Yami through the roaring.” The floor all of a
sudden vanished and everyone fell screaming into a black void. Yugi tried to
clasp tightly onto Yami's hand but his fingers slowly slipped from Yami's as
the black void swallowed them all.
“Pharaoh? Pharaoh, please wake up. Pharaoh?” Yami groaned and brushed the hand off of his
shoulder.
“Pharaoh.” Yami ly oly opened his eyes and blinked rapidly as he tried to adjust to the
sudden bright light.
“Are you alright, Your Highness?” Yami slowly sat up and looked at the young woman
beside him.
“What happened?”
“We don’t know Pharaoh. Your Highness was found outside in the dunes, unconscious. We
hoped that you could tell us what happened.” Yami looked around and noticed for
the first time the huge room he was in.
“Where am I? And who are you?” The woman felt his forehead.
“You are in your chambers in the palace, my Pharaoh and I am one of the healers. My name is
Senet. I sure hope that I do not sound offensive to you, but I think that you
have been in the sun too long. You are warmer than normal.” She glanced shortly
at the bed sheets.
“Do you wish to get changed into more comfortable clothes, Your Highness?” The woman
mentioned to a door on the left side of the room.
“Err, no I do this on my own. You’re... you’re dismissed for now.”
“Very well, my Pharaoh.” With that Senet bowed and left the room through the huge golden
double doors. Yami got out of the bed, noticing that he was still wearing his
trousers and started to explore the room. The golden doors to which Senet had
vanished were on the opposite site of the bed. Facing the bed end there was a
cabinet on the left side of it. Beside that cabinet was another door which led
outside to the balcony. Opposite that door were two other doors. One door led
into the wardrobe the woman had pointed out to him and the other door, as he
just remembered, into a bathroom. He walked to the cabinet, opened a drawer and
saw various gold jewels. On the top of the cabinet rested the jewel that signified
his status as the pharaoh, his crown. Smiling he traced the outlines of the Eye
of Horus on it. That was what he had been in his life. The pharaoh, ruler of
Upper and Lower Egypt, for his people a God. Slowly he placed the crown on his
head. The Eye of Horus rested on his forehead while two golden parts that
almost looked like boltucktuck diagonal in his hair. He frowned at the other
jewels, but decided to not put them on for now. He walked over the large soft
carpet which lay in front of the king-sized bed with the golden sheets to the
walk-in wardrobe. Inside he saw the shirt he had been wearing this morning and
his shoes neatly put away. He changed into one of the numerous kilts tying it
with a wide cord and put a blood red cloak on.
He walked out of the dresser, through the room and stepped onto the balcony. He could see the
close-by village and even some of the people who were doing their work. Under
his balcony was the palace garden.
Gripping the railing he closed his eyes and deeply breathed in the clean air which was
filled with the scent of the flowers below. He was home and yet somehow he felt
incomplete without Yugi by his side. He wondered if he had been the only one
who had gotten transported back in time (since he had had the scroll in his
hand) or if everyone was in Egypt too. If they were, where were they? He
straightened and walked back into his room and to the doors. He had to tell his
council to stop their search for Bakura and let him pass the guards if e
decided to come to the palace. As it was now Bakura and Ryou were in danger. He
suddenly froze when he realized that the two weren’t the only ones in danger.
Yugi was too. The way they resembled each other; Yugi would get punished or
worth executed as an imposer of the pharaoh. He quickened his steps and headed
to the throne room where the council most possibly was.
“Yami!” He stopped once more and turned to see Salomon, Joey and his High Priest Seto
walking up to him in clothes which were typical for this time and their
statuses. To his surprise his priest grabbed him by his cloak and almost lifted
him off the ground.
“What the hell is going on here?”
“Kaiba?”
“Yes, who else were you expecting?” Yami wrenched out of Kaiba’s grip.
“Sorry, I don’t have time for this now. I’ll explain everything later. I have some things
to sort out first.” With that he hurried on to find someone of his council.
“...toung.ung... not notice... slave... perfect... the pharaoh...” Yugi groaned as the
two voices penetrated his fogged mind. He opened his eyes and found himself on
a hard bed in an old-fashioned darkened room.
A man and a woman were standing in front of a closed curtain and talked in hushed voices.
The woman glanced shortly over to him and seeing that he was awake walked over
to him. Yugi couldn’t see much of her face due to the darkness.
“Where am I?”
“That’s not important. What’s your name?”
“Err...Yugi... and you are?” She ignored his question and handed him something to
drink.
“Drink up. I don’t know what happened but you must have been outside in the desert very
long.” Yugi looked into the goblet she had given him, uncertain what to do. He
felt uneasy around that woman. His concerns and doubts mysteriously vanished
and were replaced with a great thirst. He automatically drank the liquid only
realizing what he was doing when most of it had already run down his throat. He
winced slightly at the bitter taste and his doubts returned after he finished
the drink. ‘What did just happ
“What was that?” The woman laughed before she replied in a sweet tone of voice.
“Oh, just some potion.”
“What?” Yugi immediately started to get up-
“Sit back down and stay put.” Despite his will his body complied to her orders.
“What...?” The woman sat down beside him and took his chin in her hand. She was now near
enough for Yugi to see her yellow eyes which were almost glowing.
“What...?” His voice got slightly slurred as he stared into her hypnotizing eyes.
“Nothing for you to worry. You’ll serve us great. Just response now and keep quiet.” She
leant closer to Yugi and pulled him into a heated kiss. Yugi felt disgusted
with himself when he felt his lips responding to her every movement. An
unpleasant tickling sensation started to spread along his spine. A second later
the sensation painfully crawled its way up his back over his neck until he felt
it forcefully penetrating his brain. As soon as the woman pulled away from his
lips he felt like he was launched backwards and his sight vanished except for a
small gap which was more like a distant window. It didn’t return to him at
first and when he tried to move he felt as if he was bound to the thing that
felt like the ground but it could also have been a wall. The woman’s voice
echoed through the room he was now in.
“You’ll wake up once someone says that he loves you along with your name which will
never happen. Now it’s time for you to get to know your task.” Yugi couldn’t
help but cry as she explained to him what he would have to do, somehow knowing
that his body wasn’t shedding any tears.
“Do you understand the order?” Yugi struggled violently in his bounds.
~No leave me alone! I will never do this!~
“Yes I do.” When he heard his own voice answering he started to sob uncontrollably.
Yami had been able to prevent the worst things that could have happened. Yugi hadn’t
been found yet as well as Bakura and Ryou and if they were found now they would
get invited into the palace instead of getting directly imprisoned. The council
had been suspicious, but hadn’t questioned his reasons for it. He was now on
his way back to find Joey, Salomon and Kaiba to explain them everything he knew
which couldn’t be much more than they probably had already figured out.
“Hey pharaoh, how does it feel to be finally home?”
“I guess that you didn’t use the front door.” Bakura stepped out of the shadows behind
Yami.
“Where have you left Ryou?”
“Somewhere save.”
“No one searches for you anymore. I already made sure of that. But if you start to raid
tombs again I might change my mind.”
“Spoilsport.”
“I bet Ryou
wouldn’t even allow that.” Yami went on and left Bakura behind.
“You are free to come and go as you want as long as you don’t steal anything. You even
get your own room if you want.” Before he went around the corner he head Bakura
calling to him.
“I accept that offer, but only for Ryou’s sake.” Yami walked around the corner and
grinned. Time was going to be turbulent in the next days. On of his servants
passed him. Yami asked him if he had seen Shimon, Jounouchi or Seto,
remembering the persons the three had been in his time. Salomon was Shimon, his
right hand and the only person he really trusted with everything. Jounouchi had
been his most loyal friend and a royal guard who would have sacrificed himself
to protect him. And Seto had been one of the most powerful priests and his
cousin. He figured that he shouldn’t tell Kaiba about that, knowing that his
rival wouldn’t like to be related like that to him.
‘The servant told Yami that the three went into Seto’s room. Yami nodded to him and
went to the room. He knocked and entered when he was told to. He came face to
face with a still angry Kaiba. He narrowed his eyes tilttilted his head up
arrogantly when Kaiba towered over him.
“What are you all playing here?”
“This isn’t a play. We-”
“Now don’t tell me that Bakura brought us back in time with a spell. I already heard
that.”
“Why do you ask me if you know it already?” Kaiba snorted at that and stepped closer
looking down on Yami who still managed to keep his arrogant look in his
position.
“I don’t believe in this kind of hocus-pocus.”
“By know you should have seen gh tgh to know it better.”
“Nonsense.”
“Believe what you want Kaiba, but this is Egypt and this is my home; the place as well
as the time.” Kaiba continued to glare at Yami who returned the glare not
willing to back away. It was a battle of wills and as the pharaoh Yami was not
going to lose it. Kaiba was the first to look away, but only when he felt a
sharp pain in his leg.
“What? Does the pup need to be taken out?” Joey growled at Kaiba.
“Just wanted you to sto stop that stupid glaring or would still be standing here
tomorrow.”
“I just met Bakura. He went to get Ryou. I don’t know where Yugi is, but I already send my
people out to look for him, grandfather.”
“I could go to look out for him too.”
“No. No offence Joey, but Egypt is large and Yugi could be anywhere. Besides you don’t
know your way around here.
“He’s a mutt and dogs always find their way home.” Joey turned to Kaiba at that.
“I thought you didn’tieveieve that we are in Egypt.”
“Considering the way everything looks outside we aren’t in Japan either. So the only
question could be how to get back.”
“We would need the same spell that brought us here. By the way, how did you get with us?
You weren’t at our home.”
“No, but I was unlucky enough to pass it at the wrong time. Do you have the spell?”
“Err, no. Bakura used the spell and then gave me the scroll but I hadn’t it when I woke
up.”
“I’m off.”
“And where are you going Kaiba?”
“Asking around if your servants found a scroll and if they didn’t, I’ll search for it
myself.”
“And how do you think you’ll find it? I doubt that you’ll understand what is written on
it.”
“That is my concern, oh great pharaoh.” Yami rolled his eyes at Kaiba’s sarcasm.
“I’ll come with you.”
“I don’t need a dog tagging along.” With that Kaiba turned to leave while Joey followed
him.
“It’s not like I leave you another choice. Besides I want to look out for Yugi too.”
“Do what you want mutt, but don’t pester me.”
“I’ll see you two later then.” With that Joey left the room. Yami was about to talk to
Salomon, but a knock interrupted him.
“What?”
“My Pharaoh. Two representatives of the Romans ask for your presence so they can
give you their present for maintaining the peace between our nations.”
“I’ll be there shortly.” The servant bowed and left again.
“A present for maintaining the peace?”
“Yes it’s a mutual agreement between Greece, Roman and Egypt. Every nation has 4 months of
the year to give the other nations a gift to symbolize their will for peace and
their respect for each other. That might be interesting for you as a former
archaeologist. Do you want to join me?”
“I would love that Yami.” They left the room and headed towards the throne room.
“Oh, before I forget; when we’re not alone I’ll address you as Shimon and I hope you don’t
mind to call me pharaoh.”
“I know some of the customs of Ancient Egypt and calling the Pharaoh by the real name
was seen as an insult. I already tooey oey and Kaiba that so they won’t do
this.” He glanced shortly at Yami.
“And? How do you feel being back in your time?
“I would enjoy it more if Yugi would be safe by my side, but still... it’s very
exciting.” They entered the throne room through the huge double doors. On both
sides were numerous pillars covered with hieroglyphs and supporting the high
ceiling. On the far end of the room were several steps leading up to the raised
throne. On both sides of the throne were his High Priests, minus Seto and
Mahado who had given his life by fighting Bakura. After he lost he had sealed
his soul and his ka and became the Dark Magician.
The priests were lined up waiting for his arrival. Holding his head high Yami strode over
to the steps. Slightly looking up he saw on the left side the two priests
Karim, bearer of the Millennium Scale and Akunadin who had the Millennium Eye.
On the other side were Shada and Isis who held the Millennium Ankh and Tauk.
Yami walked up the stairs until he stood directly in front of the throne. He shortly
admired the perfection of it before he gracefully and dignified sat down. Once
he sat Karim nodded to one of the guards who were standing at the doors. The
guard bowed and quickly left the room. Yami looked at Salomon who stood looking
uncertain at him at the beginning of the stairs. Yami slightly moved his head
to show that Salomon should stand at his right side. The guard entered the
room.
“My majesty; the representatives of Roman: Rileóna¹ and Titus.” Yami watched with
interest the two persons who were accompanied by several slaves and concubines
who were dancing and putting up a show. Yami noticed Salomon watching all this
in awe even though it was hard to tell that since his face was half hidden
nd and a cloth. Yami kept his face motionless. It had always been some kind of
tradition to show off at this opportunity and he knew that this wasn’t
everything the Romans had brought along. That show was going to take some time.
Joey was ungracefully clinging on his horse’s neck and tried to keep up with Kaiba who
was riding as if he had never done anything else. Kaiba looked back at Joey and
snorted.
“You should have stayed in the palace when you can’t show it who the boss is. Instead
you’re just a nuisance, mutt. You’re just slowing me down.” Joey growled at
that but had to grasp tighter on his horse which was still trying to throw him
of.
“Since when are you paying attention to others?”
“You wouldn’t even have found the desert on your own. I’m just doing that so you can
find Yugi. I hate to be in dept of someone.” The last part was muttered to
himself but Joey still heard it. Kaiba jerked the rein when his own horse
started to get restless. They rode on, constantly looking for Yugi and that
scroll.
“You do realize that the chances to find a paper in a desert are slim to none,
moneybags? This is – argh...” His horse finally managed to throw him off and it
quickly galloped away into the direction they came from. Joey stood up and
brushed the sand from his kilt and hat as best as he could, knowing that this
was futile in a desert. Kaiba in the meantime guided his horse beside Joey.
Before he realized what he was doing he took Joey by one of his hands and
hauled him up on the horse back behind him.
“What are you doing?”
“As you may have noticed mutt this is a desert. We’re too far away from the village to walk
on foot, so shut up and hold on.”
“And where do I hold on to? I don’t see any handles up here.” Kaiba growled and pulled one
of Joey’s arms around is abdomen. Joey immediately noticed the hidden muscles
under the hes hes and was glad that he was sitting behind Kaiba or else he
would have to explain why he was blushing like this. Not giving up yet Kaiba
continued their search despite that, as time wore on, it got harder to keep his
horse in control.
When they reached a high spot from where they could overlook a few dunes his horse leapt
up throwing both boys off and also ran away. Joey groaned when he found himself
on the ground again. He was about to give a comment about Kaiba everything
keeping in control when he noticed that the CEO was sprawled over his lap, his
face a few inches away from his own. They stared into each other’s eyes and
Joey slowly leaned nearer getting excited when Kaiba didn’t pull away. Before
he was near enough to kiss the brunette he felt himself getting hard. He
instantly pushed the other boy from his lap so that he didn’t notice that too
and stood up grateful for wearing his kilt which was luckily hiding enough.
Searching for a distraction he looked into the direction where the village was.
“What had gotten into that horse? It seemed to be scared.” Kaiba got up and straightened
his clothes getting his composure back.
“Don’t know.” He looked into the other direction and gasped; the horizon had become a
lot darker and he recognized that the wind was picking up. He cursed and headed
into the direction the horses had fled, pulling Joey along.
“Hell, what’s wrong now Kaiba?”
“There is a storm heading towards us. Shut up and hurry.” Joey glanced shortly back at the
horizon.
“Hurry? To where? We’ll never make it back to the village.” Kaiba glared at Joey. He hated
to admit it but he was right. He changed his course and pulled Joey towards
some hill formation which he had seen earlier and which were much nearer.
“Let’s hope we’ll find a cave there. Even if we don’t find one, the stones will protect us
a bit from the wind.” As they went on the speed of the wind increased throwing
sand into their faces, rubbing their exposed skins raw. They finally made it to
the hills when the sun, which could hardly be seen through the storm, set and
were lucky when they indeed found a cave. Joey shivered slightly. He never had
expected that the temperature in Egypt could drop to low like they were when it
got dark. His kilt didn’t protect him much from the cold night air and he felt
his teeth starting to shatter slightly. They had to duck to enter the small cave
since the sand had piled up at the entrance building a small step. Joey looked
around noticing that he could easily touch the ceiling if he jumped up. He
looked at Kaiba and frowned when he noticed that the CEO was staring at the
sand in the semi-darkness in front of the cave entrance.
“Is something wrong?” Kaiba shrugged.
“No, but it might get wrong when the wind continues to pile up the sand.” He gestured at
the entrance.
“You think that we might get buried alive? Then we can’t possibly stay in here.”
“We don’t have another choice Wheeler. Once the sandstorm reaches us it’s truly over.”
“So what can we do?” Joey was fighting hard against the panic that rose in him. Kaiba
walked past him and sat down with his
back again a wall.
“We’ll have to wait.”
“Like hell I won’t.” With that Joey ran to the entrance in his panic. Before he could
leave the cave Kaiba had gotten up and grabbed one arm.
“Let go of me Kaiba.”
“No you won’t survive outside.”
“Let me go.”
“No.”
“I warned you.” Joey used his free hand and punched Kaiba hard enough to split his lower
lip. Kaiba growled and Joey charged again trying to hit him. They fought which
brought them rolling on the ground, the only sounds their grunts when they
tried to overpower the other one. Kaiba won and sat on top of Joey keeping him
immobile. Joey continued to struggle but couldn’t fight the slightly larger
teen off.
“Why do you care what happens to me?” Kaiba smirked when Joey gave up his struggling
finally admitting defeat.
“Who else could I tease?” ‘Did I really just say that?’ Joey blinked and slowly reached
up to remove Kaiba’s hat. He threw it aside and caressed Kaiba’s cheek. Kaiba
froze but let it all happen. His eyes widened when Joey slipped his hand to his
neck and started to pull him down. Kaiba closed his eyes when Joey leant up and
their lips met in a careful kiss barely brushing their lips together. Fireworks
were exploding in the back of Kaiba’s mind when he felt the wonderful sensation
the small contact caused. They pulled apart and they couldn’t help but stare at
each other uncertain about how their relationship was going to develop now.
Kaiba cupped Joey’s cheek with one hand.
“Mine... my pup.” Joey swallowed and nodded letting Kaiba stroking his cheek. He shivered
slightly when he vaguely noticed the cold stoneor uor underneath him. Kaiba
noticed the small trembling through Joey’s body. He removed his cloak he wore
over his robe and rolled onto his back pulling Joey on top of him. He pulled
his cloak over Joey effectively covering Joey’s bare back. Underneath the cloak
Kaiba slipped his arms around Joey giving him as much body heat as possible. Joey
lovingly kissed Kaiba's neck while Kaiba caressed his back. Kaiba nuzzled Joey’s
neck before he sucked and bit the soft tanned skin until he left a red love bite behind marking
Joey as his own.
“Mine.” Joey nodded.
“Yes, yours.”
Yami watched as the Romans left the room after their show. He would have been happy for the
present he got when he had been in Egypt without having a relationship. But
since he was madly in love with Yugi he had faked his interest when the Romans
had presented him their gift: a pleasure slave completely hidden in a linen
cloth. He had ordered to bring the male slave into his room where he had to
wait until the pharaoh went into his chambers. Yami nodded to his priests
signaling them that they were free to go if they wanted to. They bowed and also
left the room.
“Wait outside, please.” Yami said to the guard who left him and Salomon alone.
“What do you think about this Grandfather?”
“Their show was pretty impressive, but their gift…”
“Don’t worry about that. That is out of question. I love Yugi and I wouldn’t cheat on him
like that.” There was a knock before a servant entered. He got on one knee in
front of the steps.
“Is something wrong?”
“Your Majesty, the search troops have returned without having found the one called Yugi. We
would send out other troops, but I fear that the upcoming sandstorm would be
fatal.” Yami clenched his teeth, hoping that Yugi was somewhere safe.
“Then wait until it is safe to send other men out.” The servant nodded and walkack ack to
the doors. Yami and Salomon exchanged worried glances. Another servant banged
the door open before the first one could leave the room. Alarmed Yami leant
forward on his throne.
“My Pharaoh. The two horses Priest Seto and Jounouchi used today returned without
their riders. There is no sign to where they are.” Yami paled, dismissed the
servant and slumped in his throne as soon as the servants left the room. ‘Damn.
I have to do something.’ He got up and headed to the door.
“Yami? What are you going to do?”
“Something I should already have done at the beginning. I’m going to search for the three
for myself.” Yami went through the door and Salomon hurried to catch up with
him as he passed the guards outside the room.
“Ya- my Pharaoh, please consider this. Going out now would be suicide.” Yami looked
back at Salomon.
“Shimon, I have to find them and I won’t risk anyone else’s life.” Salomon followed Yami
to his room where Yami immediately headed to his wardrobe changing his kilt
into a robe and a cloak to protect him from the sandstorm as good as possible.
When he entered his room again he noticed the gift kneeling at the end of his
bed still wrapped in the linen cloth while sitting on his feet.
“Sorry to be so blunt but you can leave. I won’t be here this night and I don’t have any
intention to use ever your services.” The slave didn’t move. Yami looked
shortly at Salomon who was watching the whole scene. Yami walked over to the
slave who didn’t react at all. Annoyed Yami pulled the cloth form the slave’s
head and gasped when he saw that Yugi was the one who had been underneath it
all the time.
“Yugi!” He quickly embraced his other half who still didn’t react at him. He pulled Yugi away
at arm’s length.
“Yugi, what’s wrong?” Dull violet eyes opened and looked dazed at Yami.
“Pharaoh…”
“Yugi, what happened? What’s wrong with you?” Salomon asked and approached the two. Yami
turned to Salomon.
“He seems to be drugged. Yugi, who did that to you?”
“Nothing was done to me mighty Pharaoh. My only propose is to make you happy.”
“//Yugi please snap out of it.//” He couldn’t really feel through Yugi's drugged mind. He
shortly caught on an emotion of helplessness before it was extinguished by the
drug in Yugi's blood system.
“Please snap out of what Your Majesty? I’m only here to bring you pleasure.” Yugi's dull
eyes continued to look at Yami.
“Well, in that case it would please me when you get into the bed and sleep for now.” He
turned to Salomon when Yugi immediately obeyed him.
“It can’t be helped for now. Let him sleep the drug off and we’ll see about it tomorrow.”
Salomon nodded looking a bit uncertain at his already sleeping grandson.
“What kind of drug did they use on him?”
“I don’t know how it is called, but it suppresses the own will and replaces it with a foreign
one. In this case the Romans did something and this will have consequences for
them.”
“What will you do now?”
“Joey and Kaiba are still outside in that upcoming sandstorm. I have to find them.”
“Then please be careful. It would break Yugi's heart if something should happen to
you.” Yami smiled reassuringly at Grandpa knowing that the concern wasn’t just
for Yugi but also for him.
“I will be, don’t worry.” Yami leaned over Yugi and kissed his forehead. He left his room
and went to the stable where he ordered the stable-boy to make two of the
strongest horses ready. The boy looked shocked but obeyed quickly. Yami in the
meantime went to the door and opened it. His robe was blown a bit up by the
strong wind. Yami squinted into the dark and stormy night. It was going to be
hard, but he had to do his best. The stable-boy brought him the two horses.
Yami pulled his hood up and covered his mouth and nose with a cloth.
“Good luck, mighty Pharaoh.” Pulling his hood deeper into his face he mounted one horse and
bound the other to his saddle, before he urged them to gallop into the storm.

Whoa, ten pages for you since you had to wait so long ;) I hope there aren’t too many
mistakes.
The things written in italics are Yugi speaking without anyone hearing in that ‘room’ he
