I had some questions about words: Dorei-Slave, Tomeru-Stop,
Wakarimasu-I understand, and Nintai-pathetic. Anyway I hope you like Chapter 19
to “Father, Mother, Lover!” ENJOY!!!!

 

 

Yugi sat in Bakura’s arms as he was gently being rocked back
and forth until his cries had turned into a soft whimper. Bakura gently patted
his back and looked at Yami. He sat there, blank expression, eyes filled with
tears but not letting them through as he trembled slightly. His hands still had
blood on them as he was still wiping them furiously with a Kleenex. Bakura
placed a hand on his shoulder and looked at him giving him a soft smile.

“He’ll be okay Yami, maybe you should wash your hands?”
Bakura suggested

Yami swallowed nervously and glanced at Yugi who glanced
away quickly but he got up anyway and went to the restroom. Bakura sighed
remembering what Yugi had said to Yami earlier when they found Ryou.

 

FLASHBACK

 

Bakura held Yugi trying to calm down his sobs as much as he
could as Yami called the hospital and held Ryou’s wrists strongly to stop the
bleeding as much as he could. However, once Yami touched Ryou, Yugi became
hysterical.

“Don’t touch him!” Yugi yelled trying to break Bakura’s hold

“Yugi! Yami is trying to help him!” Bakura said struggling
with the smaller boy

“Leave him alone! This is your entire fault! I hate you!”
Yugi screamed breaking down into uncontrollable sobs.

Bakura had never seen such a look upon Yami’s face before,
it was like his heart had been ripped out…not to mention, why would Yugi say
such a thing? Did he even have a reason, and if so what would cause such an
outburst?

 

END FLASHBACK

 

Bakura snapped back into reality when the doctor approached
them.

“Friends or Family of Ryou Bakura?” He asked

“Yes.” Bakura answered as Yugi looked up at the man

“He’ll pull through amazingly enough, it’s incredible how
much blood he lost and yet he still lived. But he seems to still be in an
un-rational state of mind, we had to restrain him once he regained
consciousness because he tried to hurt himself again. He’s been sedated since
but you can see him if you want, he should be waking up by now.” The man said
handing him Ryou’s room number.

Bakura shook his head trying to understand why Ryou was so
determined to hurt himself, they were working as fast as they could couldn’t he
hold on a little longer? Bakura sighed and told Yugi to go ahead of him while
he waited for Yami and Yugi jumped at the chance running down the hall.

 

Yugi walked in Ryou’s room quietly, Ryou laid there eyes
open starring at the ceiling silently. His wrists and ankles were strappo
to
the side of the bed, Yugi cringed slightly…after all that he still tried to
kill himself, and he still wanted to die?

“Ryou?” Yugi said cautiously

Ryou heard him but turned his face away so he wouldn’t have
to look at him, he knew it was Yugi who did something to get Bakura and Yami to
take him to the hospital and now he had to explain to them why he did it and he
didn’t want to go through all that again.

“Ryou onegai…just talk to me, why did you do that I
thought…” Ryou cut Yugi off

“You thought wrong, would I have done this with out a
motive? You heard what I said in the car and I had one shot at ending it all
right them and you ruined it for me.” Ryou said angrily trying his best to hold
back tears.

“Iie Ryou! You can’t mean that! I know everything will be
alright…Onegai Ryou, just believe with me for a change?” Yugi said taking his
hand “Was this because of Yami? I’ll make sure he never touches you again I
swear!” Yugi said gripping his hand harder

“You saw the tape?” Ryou said finally looking at him

“Y-yes, why didn’t you tell me that he did that to you?”
Yugi asked hurt expression on his face.

“You don’t understand Yugi…I told him to, it was the only
way of getting you out of the house without my father being suspicious…is, is
he coming to pick me up?” Ryou asked fearful expression in his voice.

“N-no, I think the doctor thinks that Bakura is your
dad…what do you mean you told him to though?” Yugi asked

Ryou explained the situation to Yugi and then Yugi understood
but he still didn’t understand why Ryou tried to kill himself.

“But if it wasn’t Yami…them why? Why did you want to leave
me?” Yugi asked looking betrayed.

“I didn’t want to leave you Yugi, I wanted to protect you
ever since I first met you but all I have done is cause you more suffering. I
just wanted it all to stop, I didn’t want to feel all this pain anymore…my
father hurt you in the worst way possible and it’s all my fault.” Ryou said
tears streaming down his face.

Ryou tried to move to wipe them away forgetting that he was
restrained still and looked at the bands nervously.

“I didn’t ever want to hurt you Yugi…or Yami or Bakura…but
that is all I have done! All I have ever done to you all is cause you trouble,
I wish I had never met any of you, you would be so…” Yugi cut him off

“Miserable! I would be miserable without you Ryou, who would
I have talked to al those nights at the orphanage? No one could ever understand
me like you do, you go out of your way to make sure that I’m okay…you bandaged
my wounds and made sure I slept soundly those nights when we were at our
parents…you took care of me and now I will take care of you. I don’t think I
could ever live without you.” Yugi said as he wiped his friends tears away and
hugged him gently.

Bakura and Yami walked in on the two and smiled at them both
softly as Ryou turned his head away, almost afraid that they would be angry.

“Daijoubu desu ka?” Bakura asked softly while he stroked
Ryou’s cheek softly

Ryou looked at him curiously “Nani?” Ryou asked

“Are you feeling any better tenshi?” Yami asked giving him a
warm smile

“I…hai arigatou.” Ryou said hanging his head slightly

“Good, because if your feeling up to it the doctor said he
will release you and we can finally take you somewhere where no one will hurt you.”
Bakura said patting him on the head slightly.

“Doshite? I thought you would be angry with me.” Ryou said
as a nurse walked in and began to remove his restraints then leave.

“We understand you Ryou, and we should have done more to
make you feel safer with us too…” Yami trailed off

“We are here to protect you Ryou and that’s exactly what we
are going to do.” Bakura said picking him up. “Onegai Ryou, let us help you and
I promise you will be happy one day…with us.” Bakura said

Ryou rested his head on Bakura’s shoulder and cried softly
“I’m sorry…I really am a baka aren’t I?” Ryou said smiling softly througe
te
tears.

“Maybe…but your our baka.” Yami said looking at Yugi

Yugi tilted his head slightly before hugging Yami strongly
and being lifted into his arms. “I’m sorry I yelled at you Yami…I was just so
shocked and…” Yugi’s topped when Yami starte sha shake his head

“It’s all right, let bygones be bygones…we need to get you
two to our friends soon anyway, Bakura?” Yami asked

“We’re ready when you are.” Bakura said simply as they left
the hospital and went toward Marik’s home.

 

 

I’m sorry if that sounded a little rushed, and yeah Ryou’s
going to live because that’s what most peoples wanted besides I cant have a
Ryou/Bakura and a Yami/Yugi relationship if I kill Ryou off. Things should be
looking up for them soon enough and finally the fathers will pay for what they
have done to Yugi and Ryou! Yami and Bakura are going to have a little surprise
for them when they go back!
