Nazo no Kisu (Mysterious Kiss)
As the night follows day, Chapter 17 follows Chapter 16. I'd like to welcome you all to Chapter 17 of
Nazo no Kisu. I really hope you all are enjoying this story so far. There's still so much that I want
to write! This chapter will take you through the rest of the week Yugi's in Egypt. Enjoy!

Chapter 17: On Tour
I wake up...to the ringing of the telephone. I tap Atemu and he wakes up then answers the phone.
My eyes close once again as I hear Atemu's words switch from Arabic to Japanese.
"Yugi? Wake up. It's your parents."
I lift my hand up and he puts the phone in it.
"Moshi moshi." I say very lazily.
"Yugi! I'm so glad you made it there and called me!"
"Okaa-san, gomen. I meant to call you, but I got caught up with Atemu and his family."
"Yea, yea. Sounds like you go caught up more with Atemu."
"Okaa-san!"
"Well, I just wanted to call and talk to you before I went to bed. It is midnight here."
"Hai..."
"I will talk to you later ok Yugi. Take care and please call us here. Don't forget to bring us some
souveniers!"
"I will call and Atemu's going to show me the best places for souveniers."
"Ok, I love you Yugi, Ja ne."
"Ja." I say then hang up the phone.
I sit up and look at Atemu, who's fallen asleep.
-grrrrrowllll-
I'm hungry.
"Atemu." I say shaking him again. 'Atemu?"
He open his eyes and looks at me.
"I'm hungry. Come on and let's go eat."
"One minute." He says yawning then closing his eyes.
"Atemu!" I yell.
"Fine, fine. I'm up, I'm up."
Isn't he cranky when he wakes up!
"What do you want to eat?" he asks.
"I want to try some traditional food, get a taste of another country."
"Ok. That's fine. We can go to the restaurant on the 15th floor. They serve both traditional and foreign
food."
"Come on then, let's go!" I say hopping out of bed and putting my slippers on.
"Wait." Atemu says getting up and opening his suitcase. "Put this on."
He hands me something that looks like 2 sheets. What the...
"If you want to get a taste of Egypt, it would help if you would dress the part and not draw too much
attention to yourself."
"Is too much attention a bad thing?"
"No, but it's less distracting."
"Ohh." I say nodding and grabbing a towel.
We take a shower together and Atemu helps me put the clothes on and even wraps my turban. My head
feels heavy.
"You'll get used to it." He says holding my shoulder.
We go and eat, seperately, then go back to bed.
The next day, Atemu wakes up early...therefore waking me up.
"Let's go somewhere."
"Where?"
"To the bazaar."
"The what?!"
"Bazaar. It's an outdoor market. You can get lots of souveniers for your family there."
"Really?"
"Yea. It's something like you've never seen before. You'll enjoy the experience. Afterwards, we can go
sight seeing."
I get up and shower. I put on the clothes Atemu gave me, and he wraps my turban.
We go to the bazaar and indeed, it's like being at a celebration. There are lots of dealers selling
various items and food. Some people are singing and playing music.
I buy lots of souveniers and other things to take home.
Afterwards, we go to Mediterranean Beach and take pictures and look around.
The rest of the week goes the same way. We go to Cairo, Giza, Aswan, and even to Valley of the
Kings. The pyramids and statues of sphinxes are amazing. He tells me that his family are direct
descendants of the last great Pharaoh of Ancient Egypt.
Atemu even takes me to an oasis in the middle of the Western Desert which is a part of the Sahara. It's
the middle of May and it's already VERY hot! Atemu says temperatures get well over 100 degrees!

It's my last day in Egypt and truly this has been an experience to remember, especially since I was
with Atemu. He helps me to pack my bags and all the souveniers I bought. Atemu, Seth, and their
family take me to the airport...to see me off.
"Yugi. I'm glad you came here. This has been the best week of my life." Atemu says as his eyes become
swelled with tears.
"Hopefully my parents will come to Domino City and we can see what Japanese culture is like first
hand." Seth says to me. "Besides, I would love to meet Kaiba."
"Believe me Seth, you're not missing anything but yourself." I say laughing.
'Flight 806 to Domino City, Japan will be leaving in 20 minutes.'
"Akunumkanon-kun, Taha-san, Akunadin-kun, Isis-san, thank you so much for your hospitality. I truly
enjoyed my experience here with you in Egypt."
"Anytime you want to visit, Yugi-kun, our doors are always opened." Akunumkanon says to me.
"Tell your parents we say hello and send our greetings and blessings." Taha says.
"We're going to truly miss you, Yugi." says Seth as he becomes teary eyed too.
'Flight 806 to Domino City, Japan will be leaving in 10 minutes.'
"Atemu...I will always be waiting on you whenever you can return to me." I say to him.
He couldn't say anything to me...the only thing he could do was to take me to my happy place once
again.
Right there in the middle of North Africa International Airport, I was sent off with a smile engraved onto
my face.
