Big brother worry
Chapter 17
Big brother worry
I slowly turned over on the bed finding Mokuba was gone. My heart start to freak out.
“Small fly?” I whispered looking around the room in a panic. I stood and opened the door coming face to face with Seto.
“Whoa Ki! Relax!” Seto yelped.
I did finally relax when I heard Mokuba downstairs talking with Yugi. Seto quietly shut the door behind him and stared at me.
“What happened last night?” Seto asked crossing his arms.
“What do you mean what happen? Nothing happen last night I went to bed. Why are you not at Kaiba corp.?” I questioned as I sat on the bed and looked up at Seto.
“I didn’t go to work. I got a panic call from Mokuba about you bleeding all over the place in your sleep and that you sneaked out nig night and didn‘t come back for two hours” Seto muttered.
“What?” I said wide eye. I knew Mokuba was out cold when I left.
“Yami was still awake. Mokuba called me when he found the blood on your side of the bed. I can see what he means” Seto remarked darkly indicating the bed. I look back at the spot I had been laying. The stain was huge.
‘Damn it I thought I stopped the bleeding.’ I mused.
“Ki I told you to stay here were it was safe and you didn’t. Why didn’t you listen!?” Seto yelled.
“SETO! He knows about your friends. He told me if I ran he would find me and if I didn’t come willingly he would hurt our friends. Believe me with the way he is, what’ll he’ll do, it’s worse than death. Much worse” I cried.
Seto stood back shock. I ran a shaking hand though my messy hair.
“Big brother what are we going to do?” I whimpered. Seto sighed as he sat next to me.
“We’ll get the ass.” Seto growled his answer. I sighed and leaned on Seto and felt myself calm down again.
I nodded as I looked up at Seto. “Hey big brother do you think we can do some dueling today with the others. I want to see how bad I’ve gotten over the years.” I asked quietly as I stood back up.
“Are you sure about that?” Seto asked as he stood too. I nodded as I crossed my arms.
“I want my blue eyes back. I see you put my old deck I gave you back in my room at the manor. But my blue eyes white dragon is missing.” I demanded. Seto raised an eyebrow.
“Hey you gave me that card fair and square. So why should I give it back to you?” Seto retorted with a grin.
“Because I won it. And I’d like to use it today” I argued with similar grin.
“How about this? We duel for it using your old deck and using my own deck. If you win then you get your blue eyes back. If I win I’ll get to keep it.” Seto bargained. I sighed. Same old Seto no matter what.
“Ugh! And here you are saying you never really like duel monsters. You know you’re putting me at a disadvantage here big brother. I don’t have any strong monsters in my old deck and you got three blue eyes…” I stopped in mid-sentence, remembering something that an old friend had given to me before I had to move away from my old neighborhood. He had told me that the duel monster reminded him of me in a temper. I was usually quiet; possibly more laid back than either my other two brothers. But when pushed over the edge, I come back ready to kick ass. Which was much like the duel monster he gave me to remember him by.
I looked over at Seto “Fine you’re on.” I concluded. Even though I told myself I would never use the card in a duel. But I guess I’m changing that. What good is a good duel monster when you never use him and not give it the chance to become one with you knowing what you had shared with his previous owner? Not letting it into your heart?
Seto nodded. “Get cleaned up and I’ll see if the others want to duel or not. But we got to be careful. If Gozaburo shows up I’ll break his face… while you leave. GOT IT!” Seto growled.
“But I want to see you break his face in” I grumbled. Seto darkly looked at me.
“Ki. Every time you see that monster. You just fall apart.” Seto whispered, resting his hands on my shoulders. I made a face at him and turned away.
“Leave so I can get changed” I grumbled as I start to pull my shirt off. I stopped when I saw Seto hadn’t left. His eyes were on my back. I then remembered he had never seen my scars.
“My god Ki. Look at these scars. I can’t believe I let this happen.” Seto whispered in shock lifting the shirt all the way up to see my whole back...
I slowly looked back. “I never enjoyed it. Every time. He would take me. He would beat me, and then take me once more. Making me scream his name.” I whimpered. I bit my bottom lip lightly as I looked at Seto. “Seto there was nothing you could really do. You were 14-year-old kid. Even if we did tell someone Gozaburo would pay him or her not to tell anyone.” I assured him turning to face him. Seto eyes fell on a pound shape on my chest. My gunshot scar.
A sad look came over his face. “This is the one that kills me the most.” Seto reminisced as he looks up at me.
“Seto I’m glad did what I did. I would have died anyway if I let him kill you two. Even with the T-project. I would have died knowing I didn’t try to save you two.” I said looking away.
“Ki I should have got up and helped you get the gun away. But I was in too much shock to move, after being rape. I know it wasn’t my first time but…it hit me too hard that time and just knowing what Mokuba had been through half an hour before I got there. My brain wasn’t working.” Seto whispered, hugging me. I looked up at Seto with shock hearing something I never heard from him or seen him do until when I died. He was crying.
“And I almost lost you again.” Seto choked through tears. “Does this nightmare ever stop?” Seto whimpered as he tightly held me. I wrapped my arms around him returning the tight embrace.
“It will, Seto. It will someday.” I answered. We both looked down when Mokuba wrapped his arms around the both of us.
“In the end things will change,” Mokuba added looking up. “It’ll be a happy ending. Just like in those story you two use to read to me.” I gently smiled.
‘Yes a happy ending. When I’m jumping on Gozaburo grave. And we can finally be free. No more worrying. Like what you put on my grave. “You don’t have to worry anymore.” Because this nightmare will finally be over’ I thought as I let go went to get ready.
***Kaiba Manner***
I slowly walked around my room turning on all the lights making sure the nighttime monsters were gone. I was acting like a little kid. But who could blame me when the boogieman was Gozaburo. I slowly pulled out my card box and open it. There lying at the top of my deck was my strongest card and a weird looking necklace.
“I wonder how this got out and where did this necklace came from?” I muttered.
I slowly pick up the necklace. It was carved out like a eye eyes white dragon.
“The weird thing is. I’ve seen this before. It was a very long time ago though. Hmmm.” I mused as I wrapped my fingers over it. I gently put it back in my box and took the box with me. ‘I’ll think about that later. I got a duel to win. And I still got to read over Seto’s new rule he made. Since were going by battle city rules.’ I thought heading down the stairs.
“Hurry your ass up Ki.” Seto yelled impatiently from the front door way.
“Chill would ya.” I grumble as I pass him. We head to duel world.
NOTE: next time a duel going on. I hope I’ll do it right lol. And what this weird necklace that was in with his cards. And it’s not from Gozaburo. Well I hope you like. Until next time.
