Sweet 16 is upon us! Wow, I can't believe I've written this much! Yugi's in Egypt! He's in Atemu's other

Chapter 16: Renewed Love

Atemu is still looking at me, blinking, rubbing his eyes, trying to make sure I'm not a mirage I guess.

"Are you just going to stand there looking at me?" I say.

"Yugi. How are you?" Seth says, surprisingly in Japanese.

"I am ok." I reply in Arabic.

He's taken back as I said something in Arabic.

"How long are you here Yugi?" Atemu asks me.

"A week."

"Wow, Ashita-san and Masanori-san let you leave the country? The continent?!"

I laugh. Yea, my parents are kinda strict about me traveling any further than Tokyo and that's only a
two hour drive.

"Where are you staying?" he asks.

"I have reservations at the Nile-Med Hotel." I reply.

"Really? Wow, you know you can save that money and stay here with us."

"I can't cancel. I've already paid my money. You can come and stay with me if you like. I made the
reservation for a two-person room."

"Really?!"

He goes to his parents and talk to them. I see them nod and hear them say a few more things to him.

"Atemu teaching me Japanese." Seth says to me in my native tongue.

"You're learning well." I reply...in Japanese of course.

"Arigatou." He says bowing slightly. He's a quick learner.

I watch as Atemu gets a bag from under the bed and starts packing some clothes in it.

"So, where are you going Atemu?" Seth asks in English this time...is he becoming like his quad-lingual
cousin?

"To the hotel with me." I reply, in English.

Seth looks at me surprisingly. I guess I didn't tell him I could speak English too.

"I didn't know you could speak English also Seth." I say.

"Yes. I can. So, all this time Atemu's been our translator from Japanese to Arabic...when we already have
a common language." Seth says grabbing a few blond locks of Atemu's hair.

"What. It never came up that the both of you could speak English." he replies zipping the bag with
one hand and batting away Seth's hand from his hair.

"So, whenever I come to Domino City, I can speak English and everyone will know what I'm saying?"
Seth asks me as he lets Atemu's hair free.

"Not everyone. Most junior and senior level students in high school and university students know
English, or a better majority of it. Once you become a junior in high school, English Language
becomes a mandatory class."

"So, you can take it as a freshman or sophomore?"

"Yea. It's optional then. So most students choose to take it then, so they won't be cramming it
the last two years of school. For most better paying jobs, they do a lot of business with Americans
and of course employees have to be able to communicate with them."

(AN: I don't know nothing about that either...the Japanese school curriculum.)

Atemu finishes packing and he picks up his bags.

"Let's go." He says walking out the door. "Are you coming Seth?"

"Yea, I am." he says following us.

We leave the house and get into his car and we go to the hotel. Atemu helps me to check in and
find my room, 2521. Seth, Atemu, and I walk around the luxurious hotel, taking pictures and joking
around.

"I have to leave now. I'm going with my dad to Cairo for the night. I will see the two of you tomorrow.
Sayonara!" Seth says leaving.

Atemu and I go back to the room and lay on the bed.

"I can't wait for the tourney!" I say, switching my language back to Japanese.

"I hate that I won't be able to participate in Worldwide. I was looking forward to that."

"You got an invite?"

"Yea. I did. But I had to decline. Doctor's orders. I may not be able to return to Japan until next year."

"I understand. I wonder who took your spot?" I ask.

"Someone from Azabu. His name is Insector Haga."

"Insect? Is he a dueling bug or something?" I say laughing.

"I don't know." Atemu says laughing.
